"The one thing that we pride ourselves in is when we start a job we finish. We do not jump from one job to the next. We stay on your job. Some jobs are estimated to take a certain amount of days, if we go past those days we do not charge any extra. We only charge extra for additional work performed above and beyond the contract. We always do work at no charge allot of the time for small things that we do not foresee. We also want every customer to be happy with the project after we complete it. We take care of our issues. We had started using a new product from a vendor that looks like wood and is a porcelain tile. Very durable. Even with all the leveling in the world in a large area we were having problems in a couple of places with lipage, where the tile edge is raised a little higher than the surrounding tiles. We did make several attempts to correct and the next step was to grind the concrete to lower that area. The customer choose not to have this done, so there is only so much we can do to correct the issues, but we were very willing. The product is a very durable product but as we found out latter after a couple of installs it is not installer friendly. We have decided not to sell the product anymore and have now moved to a more installer friendly 6" W x 24" Long wood look floor tile that does not seem to have the other problems. The Manufacturers have over time made some great improvements. We do not condone any anger exhibited by our workers and the for mentioned worker was spoken to about the incident. He is a really great guy and felt bad about the incident. I am not sure about the discount, it was never spoken of and we do not automatically start giving refunds or discounts when the customer chooses to not have us do work we know we need to do."
