They were great. They didn't break anything. They were awesome. They were quick and efficient. They wrapped everything that needed to be wrapped. They took everything apart, the beds and everything. The only thing that happened was a crack in a mirror. I would tell others to absolutely use them. They're awesome.

I started with an email ahead of time to request rates and details, and I got a prompt response from Jason.  He clearly outlined the charges and answered my questions.  We chose Haynes over others due to positive reviews and also because their rates were straightforward without a lot of extra charges.
When our move date grew near, I got back in touch and he came out to take a look and give us a firmer estimate based on the contents of our home.  He put us on the calendar and gave us a time.
On moving day, three men showed up with two trucks, and they got right to work.  They were extremely courteous and did a really wonderful job.  They finished faster than anticipated, and they really worked hard the entire time.  They only took short breaks to grab a drink of water.
We could not have been happier with our experience.

w, I saw all of the good grades for this company and I can't believe
they were the same folks who handled this end of my move. My employer
paid for the move so they hired the lowest bidder which proeved to be
Steven's Van Lines out of Michigan. Since our home was not ready, all of
our possessions had to go into storage when it arrived in Pensacola.
The local agent here took care of the storing and delivery of all of our
"stuff". We knew it had arrived as the Steven's driver called us after
they unloaded at Haynes' facility to let us know it had all arrived,
safe and sound. So far so good. Once we knew what day we would be moving
in I called Steven's to set up the delivery and it was set to deliver
on July 19 and 20 as we had a large load. The they showed up on time
Thursday morning and their forEverything went well on the 19th, we had a
team of six guys who worked hard at unloading stuff and placing it in
the general location requested in our house.  That afternoon the skies
opened up and we had very heavy thunderstorms so the local management
told them to pack it in for the day and we were agreeable. My only
concern was we had also "paid" for unpacking services and I was assured
the stuff would be unpacked on Friday after the unloading finished. No
sweat.
Friday morning comes and they show up a little late. They
only had four guys and two of the four were not the best workers. The
first big problem was the bottom of our hot tub looked like someone had
tried to put a dolly or forklift under it and damaged/tore the outer
covering on the base. Ugh. Then boxes started coming out which were
dripping water. They were so soaked the boxes were splitting open and
you could tear the cardboard with your hands. What a nice surprise.
Several other things started to come up which had damage you wouldn't
have normally expected and more wet boxes. Things were going slow so I
called the mover and asked if they were still going to unpack the same
day and I was assured they would and Haynes' was sending out more help.
About lunchtime one more guy showed up and he should have stayed home as
he wasn't too interested in working to hard. Then I heard the guys
start wondering about what time their paychecks would be ready and they
were going to leave about that time to get their checks. Back on the
phone with Steven's and I relayed this and also asked for a member of
Haynes' management to come out to the house to view the wet boxes and
some of the other damage. Shortly had a return call and was told the
crew would work until they were finished and no one was available from
the local management. Finally, everything off the truck and they started
unpacking and they were in a hurry. Now we knew they weren't going to
do precise placement but they five guys fanned ouit to various rooms and
started unpacking boxes. Some of the boxes, looked like they had opened
the tops and turned them upside down to empty them as I later found
clothes buried at a bottom of a pile. Finally about four o'clock they
said they were out of space to put stuff. Their office called and
explained they had no where to unpack anything further, there was
nothing more they could do so they were going to be leaving. I tried to
negotiate for a couple of guys for an afternoon the next week to help in
the garage and they agreed to give me a couple of guys for an hour the
next week. I never took advantage of that offer. After we had a chance
to survey the chaos from this move throughout the rest of the house I decided I was well ahead
if I just finished it myself.
My advice is be careful, very
careful if you decide to use these folks for a large move. They may be
OK for a small local move but they do not appear to have the capability
or skill to handle a large interstate move.

We needed to move a family heirloom wall-sized bookcase, vintage desk and small cabinet from Pensacola, FL to Orlando, FL (where we live).   I called and spoke to “Jason”, their “relocation specialist”. He presented himself as very a upbeat, we-can-help-you guy. We discussed the furniture and he concluded that it would be under 1,000 pounds. Cost is calculated by weight rounded to the nearest thousand pounds, plus distance traveled. Jason emailed a BINDING estimate for 1000 pounds ($956) with a 30% discount ($669) and a delivery date range of 11/23 to 12/18.   UNHAPPY: We traveled to Pensacola and prepared the furniture for moving. Jason arrived on moving day, looked at the bookcase, vintage desk and small cabinet. He concluded that the bookcase weighed less than he estimated, and that all three pieces would not exceed 1,000 pounds. HOWEVER, he presented a new estimate. The price was the same, BUT the estimate was now NON-BINDING and the delivery date range had been extended TWO WEEKS to 12/31. In the ensuing verbal exchange I learned that another person in the Haynes Transportation office had changed the estimate. That Jason's binding estimate was worthless because it was contingent upon this other person's approval.   We were stuck. Staying another day in Pensacola to get another mover's estimate costs us food and lodging. That estimate might be much higher and have other undesirable terms. So we had to accept the new estimate.   GOOD PICKUP SERVICE: The movers were great at handling the heirloom furniture. They were extremely careful not to damage the furniture. Plus they skillfully maneuvered the wall-sized bookcase (in 3 sections) down a narrow hallway, across a step-down in floor level and out the back door without damaging the walls.   PAYMENT: Two weeks later, on a Monday we received a call from the Haynes office saying that the furniture would be delivered on Wednesday and asked for payment.   DELIVERY: On Wednesday, we waited... past noontime... into late afternoon. Hearing nothing. We decided to call the Haynes office before they closed. We were told that a previous delivery was still underway and we were given truck driver James' cell phone number. I called the driver and James said he be delivering to us around 6 PM. We waited until is was almost 7:30 PM. Hearing nothing (again) we called the James' cell phone. He mentioned some difficulty with the current delivery. He committed to delivering the furniture to us on the day promised. It was about 9 PM when company employee James and two local hires arrived. They quickly and mostly carefully unloaded our furniture. James nearly dropped a section of the bookcase off the truck and onto the street, but he caught it by a piece of tape attached to it. All three were pleasant and mostly careful in getting the furniture into the house.   AT THE END: As they were nearly finished, James wanted us to sign-off on the Descriptive Inventory, saying all items were accounted for. (Note: Because the bookcase was disassembled, there were 30 pieces) When I said I hadn't confirmed the items had been delivered, James said that's OK, HE did and it's all delivered. I refused. I took the inventory and confirmed myself that we had ALL the pieces from Pensacola. Then I signed.

I used them because they had good reviews. They did a great job. I would hire them again to move us again. They moved everything into a storage warehouse and they did a good job with it. They were very nice and I’m using them again. I don’t have anything to compare their prices to. I would use their services again in the future.

Went very well. The 4 men who did the move were very good, worked hard and efficiently, and other than a small piece of veneer chipped from one piece of furniture (which the guy picked up and gave to me), and a couple of cracked picture frames (which I had packed), everything came through fine. The guys were very friendly, and I made sure to tip each one of them, even though at first they didn't want to take the tips.

Easy estimate. the guys was quick yet thorough. They set up a date and showed up with smiles on their faces to pack up my stuff. nothing was broken from point A to point B. they unpacked my items, took the old boxes and I never heard them complain even though it was scorching hot that day. I will use them again should I ever need to move.

I have used Haynes Van & Storage to move my personal belongings from one home to another on more than one occasion. The entire staff is so courteous and professional. This is a family owned business and not some chain type place so you get great service. I had them come out and give me an estimate and my final bill was spot on. there were NO hidden charges like some of those crooks you read about. I was so happy with my first move that I used them again when I had to move again. TOP NOTCH group at Haynes Van & Storage!
