Calling, arranging the appointment time, getting a call from the plumber were all exemplary. The plumber and his helper arrived ahead of time and called to verify if that fit my schedule well. They were courteous and thorough. However, they could not resolve my problem (a defective O-ring in the pop-up assembly) because they did not have the specific part on their well-stocked service van. The plumber was frank with me and gave me the option of obtaining the O-ring and repairing the drain assembly myself or getting him to return at another date with the proper part and charge me for a second house call. I chose the former and he only charged me half the price of the house call. Four trips to Big Box for wrong parts or parts that didn't work and about $100 later, I repaired the problem finally.

Mr Shenberger called before coming over to house. Was able to work from outside of home and did not have to go thru any walls for the repair. Had to go back home for more parts, was not charged for time away from the project. Promptly came back and finished the job. Gave me advise on how to keep the pipes from freezing in the future.

had 2 quotes and Shenberger was the only one that told us about a $950 rebate if we went with a tankless water heater and since the quote to go with the heater was about $1000 higher as opposed to just the replumb, it was a no brainer. They came when they said they would and got everything installed. About a week later, we had a leak and they were out first thing. They couldn't fix it so we had to call the water company who replaced our old water meter with a new one. My complaint was the piece that broke was on our side and should have been replaced since it was a galvanized piece that screwed into the water meter but since our meter was about 60 years old and the water company replaced it, I am still happy (unless the water company charges us for the meter) and I got the check for the $950 about 1 week after the inspection was done.

Great job! Crew arrived at scheduled time and did what they needed to do. My last heater was installed in 1991, so we needed some extra work to bring up to current code and they did that along with the heater install and clean up in 2 hours. I paid hourly rate for labor. I purchased the Water Heater from a local home supply store who had a contractor / installer who quoted me over $1100 for the job. My price from Shenberger Plumbing included supplies for 2 new drains to be run to the outside and a piece of exhaust vent pipe, and they took the old heater away for $25 (all included in the $450 price I paid) where the original $1100 quote from the store's vendor asked $100 for haul off of the old heater. The inspector just left and everything passed so I am a happy customer. I spoke with Robyn and Dora on the phone who were very polite and prompt in returning my calls. I am still waiting for call back from another vendor I had called while looking for someone to do this job. They are also handling my rebate paperwork for the gas company. I will use them again and most definitely recommend them to others. Thank you all !

Think this was our 3rd time using Shenberger, first visit was Ok second OK minus. Last week we needed drain repair as a toilet wouldn't drain properly. Contacted Shenberger and agreed to a wait due to heavy workload. Finally got scheduled and when the workers(plumbers?) called in the AM when scheduled for afternoon, we were able to accommodate them. Showed up without the proper equipment although we'd clearly stated our problem. Agreed to have them return later, that's when the fun began. At first they attempted to snake the blockage out with the toilet bowl in place. Didn't work but seriously scored the toilet surface while doing so. Finally displaced blockage and replace toilet bowl and left a bunch of filth behind. Took me 1/2 hour to clean up most but not all of the damage to the bowl. Not done yet! 5 days later the toilet is blocked again, and they only have Frick and Frack (the original pair) available. Going some place else!

Terribly. The plumber installed the spigot running off of my kitchen water supply. Afterwards we discovered my water supply to the kitchen was a very low. The plumber (Lucky) Decided that some crud must’ve broken loose from inside the pipe and was blocking my kitchen faucet. The faucet is a $1700 Kohler carbon fiber job. He started to take the faucet apart. And when what he was doing didn’t work, my wife got aggravated and ask him what he was going to do next and he started to cry. Then she called me at my office to let me know that, when she came back into the kitchen, he had packed up and left. I called the office to find out what was going on and they had Lucky call me back. He was heading back to my house. He said he had panicked when my wife fussed at him and left. I told him I would meet him at the house. I did and he spent nearly 2 more hours trying to put my faucet back together. He finally “finished” and handed me a tiny bag of leftover parts that “were probably some type of water and conservation requirements in California.“ He then had the nerve to bill me for nearly half a day’s service to the tune of several hundred dollars which I paid just to get rid of him. I will never do business with them again and I will tell everyone that I know shouting at the top of my lungs to do the same. Our expensive faucet has never worked right since.

All went as advertised. Good job all around.

Plumber arrived about 10:15 and examined the three faucets. Replaced exterior faucet but required a new handle. Both interior faucets required replacement, so he went for parts & returned after about 45 minutes and made all repairs and installations quickly. Good job!

On time, very focused, worked quickly and steadily / very competent.

I strongly suggest you agree to a price for the entire job and not pay by the hour. The original estimate was 6-8 hours of work and I was told it would be cheaper than paying for an entire job which would be priced higher. The actual time turned out to be over 22 hours and cost much more than estimated or expected. There were some unexpected issues that took extra time, but not an additional 10-15 hours over the estimate. In addition, they charge for travel time outside Pensacola which was not explained to me ahead of time. They made mistakes and refused to accept responsibility, and I paid for the time to correct them. They also left handprints on the walls that we cleaned up.

On time, worked fast, did good work.  Price fair.  Very satisfied because they diagnosed a difficult to find problem.

Very Well. Slight misinterpretation of new code but came back out asap to rectify problem. Would definitely hire again. Dispatcher/Receptionist has the patience of a saint.

They were a very professional organization and the guys that showed up, they took care of everything that they needed too. They cleaned up after themselves. They explained what they were gonna do and how they were gonna go about it. And everything they said they did, they followed right through with. Everything was accomplished as they said and they were very reasonable with their price for what they accomplished. They actually left it in better condition than what it was so that's always a good news story.

I was very pleased with their work.
