Not only did we have EXCELLENT SAME DAY SERVICE with Roto-Rooter, but the 1st technician, Matt, thoroughly cleaned our shower drains beyond anything I was capable of doing. The hair clog wrapped around the broken drain plug was probably 10+ years of shower use, if not more. (we've only lived here 2 years). He also fixed our slow draining sinks as a bonus for us b/c we had just accepted they were slow. The 2nd technician also came out same day to use a camera scope to determine whether we did or did not need the sewer line replaced. He said there was a trivial (small) amount of water in the line, but nothing that qualified as "bellied." He said the line DID NOT need to be replaced, and that $3500 was twice the cost it would actually be if he did need to replace it. Conclusion to the occassional toilet clog was to choose a thinner toilet paper as ours is thick and easily catches in the line. We GREATLY appreciated how thorough both technicians were, their depth of knowledge, and especially appreciated their honesty. They saved us over $3200 of expenses that weren't necessary.

Roto-Rooter was the only respondent with in the Milton and Pace, FL area late on a Sunday night. The technician, Adam, called me immediately and got out to the house late that evening around 10:00pm to clear the blockage and assessed that the septic tank was full and needed additional service.

The administrative staff were very polite on the phone and quick to get a tech dispatched. I called at 9am and had a service tech at my residence by 11:30am same day. He was professional and quickly assessed the issue. He was able to get the drain clear in less than an hour and provided some tips on how to keep good maintenance on my drain lines.

We called Peaden first, since they were the ones to put in the system, and they quoted us over twice the cost for a special procedure they said we needed. We decided to get a second opinion, and Roto Rooter came to the rescue.

Plumber Jim was a very nice man but did not know how to fix the valve. Unfortunately, we learned that after he had disassembled the valve. He seemed rough on the pipes and I worried he would cause a leak in a pipe joint. He did reassemble the valve (with a gasket left over - not a good sign) and stopped the leak, but now water comes out the shower head and the tub outlet no matter were the valve is positioned. I had some other plumbing tasks that I was hoping to get fixed but thought I better get another plumber. I was happy to just end the experience without a bigger problem than I started with. At least the leak was stopped (and no broken pipe joints that I know about yet), but I will get another plumber to really fix the valve.

It went GREAT.  Adam came out when he said he would, and was VERY PROFESSIONAL and did an excellent job.  He put up with a homeowner who was very dissatisfied with the Home Warrenty Company he had do continually deal with, but accepted this with calmness and grace.  He was thorough, clean and very pleasant to deal with.  I would recommend Roto Rooter and Adam to anyone who needs plumbing problems even on Sunday like I did.
THESE PEOPLE ARE GREAT!!!!!!!

Plumber Jim with Roto Rooter shows up and i explained what I wanted. I wanted 3 pipes cut and rebuilt closer together and the lower parallel pipe lowered in order to get a glass enclosure. All the prep work had been completed by my handyman so all Jim had to do was cut the 3 half inch pipes and solder the elbows and rebuild them using MY cooper pipes.
Jim gave me no estimate, so i figured it should not cost more than $350.00 at most. Jim never asked me if I wanted an estimate nor did he inform me of how much an hour I would be charge nor the hourly rate. After he brought his tools and sawsall, he commenced. Jim went out to his plumbing truck 13 times in between starting and finishing the work. which took him about 5 minutes each time. He stretched a one (1) hour job into about 3 or 3 and a half hours. When he turned the water on, he flooded the bathroom due to carelessness and unprofessional behavior. Jim did not ask me to come and see how high I wanted the shower head. Jim is 6'8and quot; tall and made it for his height. I am 5'10 and half inches tall and my wife is 5'4and quot; tall. I could barely reach the top of the pipe fixture after Jim left. Jim gave me a bill for $618.00 and said he had $200.00 of material used and the other $418.00 was for labor. He told me that he charged $135.00 for the first hour and $115.00 for every hour after. A regular plumber only charges a maximum of $85.00 per hour. I paid with my MasterCard.
I called the Roto Rooter and explained the situation, and asked for the manager to call me. It has been 6 days without a call. Roto Router over charges, are unprofessional, and do not give a free estimate as in in the phone book and their slogan. I would have NEVER used Roto Rooter if i knew their hourly rate. I Could have don the job within an hour myself even with my bad back and pain. I would NEVER recommend Roto Rooter for any plumbing job!!!!!

They had to drag my septic tank up and hook me to the new sewer system. To hook that up, they had to demolish the old tank and hook into the new line. You may have a lot of people checking who do this kind of work because some of the companies don't do demolition and hooking up. You have to call two different companies but Roto-Rooter does both of it.

This was a very satisfying experience. Drainage problems are scary when they happen and you mostly want to get it repaired quickly. I called this company on a Monday morning at 7am and they scheduled a service call at 9am. That is quick! The plumber arrived on time and assessed the problem quickly. He found the drain obstruction and was gone in 30 minutes. We were able to open the restaurant on time. The $119 service call was a nice surprise. I had nightmares of the plumber wanting to do a major sewage line replacement, so this was a big relief. Roto-Rooter is on my service provider list and I will use them again for future plumbing work.
