RISHER'S WINDOW WORKS

I called the schedule an estimate and they were able to do the estimate within a week. I was told the glass should be ready within a week because it was a standard size window, but after two weeks I called to check the status and my phone call was returned a couple of days later and they came by that afternoon to replace the window.

No dlislikes. Excellent service. They made me very happy. They did what they needed to do. They put a sliding glass door. It is crystal clear. They give me a receipt and a five-year warranty. I will be getting a couple of widows replaced. They would like to be my window people.

We got several quotes for this porch project. One was for the Taj Mahal of screened porches, at $30,000. One was for $16,000 from a national chain for what sounded exactly like what Risher's did for $11,000. At the time Risher's did the quote they made several suggestions that saved us money and they were entirely open to our doing some of the work ourselves in order to save even more.

They showed up on time and did the work in the projected two days. The porch looks great and we're very pleased with it.

In order to keep the rebate on our homeowners' insurance policy, we needed hurricane covers for the new doors. They gave us a fair price on those and had a good solution for how to minimize the appearance of the shutter hardware so that it blends in with the door trim instead of sticking out like steel claws waiting to catch an unwary arm.

We love our porch and we're very glad indeed that we made the investment.
