We have been using Pine Forest Animal Clinic for 19 year. That should tell you something. When you enter his office, you are met by a number of cats. In the back you can hear parrots and cockatoos whistling and calling out, and when you go back into the clinical space you are bound to be met by a dog or two wandering around his office. You see, he cannot bear to euthanize an animal simply because someone could not pay their bill, or did not want it anymore. So he has an office full of little critters wandering around to greet everyone. He also has a goat out back. I'm not sure how he ended up with the goat.
Dr. Perrett has nursed our little Siamese cat through 17 1/2 years of different ailments some quite serious and life threatening as well as his sibling who passed away at home at the ripe old age of 15. Actually we have used him as our pets' vet for over 19 years...wow! Throughout the years we have come to think of the staff and Dr. Perrett as friends. He and his staff have prayed for our family many times as we have faced trials and tribulations. I have great respect for him as a man of God as well as a veterinarian.
He is not a vet who is quick to suggest euthanasia, so if that is what you are looking for, you may want to look further. If there is hope, he will do what he can until the animal communicates and quot;no more.and quot;

The price was fair. They answered questions. They're very personable. They took the time to talk to us. They're good.

We selected this clinic from Angies List as we were unsatisfied with prognosis/reasons from previous Vet clinic as to her condition. Dr. Perrette examined our pet, ran tests prior to making diagnosis and prescribing treatment regime. Although a lengthy process from start to finish what with the antibiotics and medicated baths the overall results were exactly what we were told they would be. Dr. Perrette and all the staff members at the clinic provided excellent care and professional courtesy. Everyone at the clinic are friendly and genuinely care for the animals/pets they care for . I would and will highly recommend the Pine Forest Animal Clinic to anyone looking for someone to care for their pet(s).

We arrived, waited for approximately 10 minutes, called back, waited another 5 or so minutes or so. Doc came in, examined the little dog, explained throughly his diagnosis. Tech came in and offered more advice and sympathy for dog's condition, dispensed prescriptions. We were then directed to the check out, paid and set up a follow up.

Overall, the standard of care rates an A+. He is an excellent veterinerian with many years of experience and a soft heart for animals. He often keeps animals that others reject rather than put them down. It is obvious he does not like to euthanize an animal that he thinks can be saved. It is also obivious that he enjoys his job.
