I can't thank Jill, Rachel, Jason, David, and the rest of PII team enough!! I know these guys are crazy busy with all these hurricane losses, but they still managed to fit me in quickly. I had to get a new roof, and when David came out to do my re-inspection, the roofers still weren't done enough with my job for him to do his, despite promises to the contrary. He was nice enough to come back the next day (on a weekend) and complete my re-inspection so that I could move forward with my insurance company. These folks are seriously awesome. I won't use anyone else for home inspections after this experience. I'm sure there's other great companies out there, but why shop around when you already have the good stuff? Thank you, PII!!!!

Since our primary residence is in Mississippi, I asked if the inspection could be done on a Saturday so my wife and I could be there. The company arranged it for the very next Saturday. Kevin, the inspector was on-time - even a little early. He took lots of pictures - inside, outside, and under the house. He turned on all of the appliances, water faucets, flushed the toilets, tested every single electrical outlet in the house to be sure each was grounded (found 2 that weren't). He not only looked at the breaker box, but unscrewed the cover and looked at the wiring behind it. He also checked everything in the garage just as thoroughly.  His report identified about 20 deficiencies, all but 3 of which, we asked the owner to repair.  When the realtor told me the repairs were completed, I called Kevin back and asked if he could possibly go back the coming Saturday and confirm that everything had been fixed for us, which he graciously did at no extra charge. Alas, two items had not been fixed - one ws fairly major to us - the moisture barrior under the house was torn in several spots and lying on the ground.  So I called my realtor back and told her and they had the ownere complete those items and told me just 3 days prior to closing that all was done.  Since they had told my that before and it wasn't so, I called Kevin once more and asked if he could possibly swing by and confirm for me that those 2 items were repaired.  He did and they were.  Two follow-up inspections at no extra cost. Plus the replacement cost value lowered my estimate of what I needed to insure the home for, saving my money in the years ahead.  I definitely recommend Pensacola Insurance Inspections if you need a home inspection.
