Installer came to house and removed the old seal Installed new seal that was not the same as the original one requiring exposed screws at outside face of garage door. Installer recommended I buy foam backer rod to insert in the end of the new seal to help prevent leaks since light was visible at the ends. Purchased backer rod and installed. It eventually fell out. I was not happy that the installer did not provide and install the backer rod as part of the cost of the installation. I later found out the garage door was installed by a different company. They removed the incorrect seal and replaced with the correct one for my door.

We couldn't have been happier with the experience or the results. The technicians were on time and courteous. It was a big job, but they kept at it until it was completed. They took the time to really tailor the stair to our situation, even expanding our attic opening to its original size so that we could fit in a larger and more comfortable stair. Now we have a wonderful, easy-to-use attic stair instead of the clunky and heavy wooden ladder. I'm nine months pregnant right now, and I can move it by myself easily. When we used them for general service on our door, it was another good experience. The tech adjusted the settings on my door to make it safer around little kids. (The original door was NOT installed by Panhandle Garage Doors.) They also found and fixed a spring that was about to come loose, before it could have caused damage. By the end of the service, our door was much quieter than before.

Price for replacement rollers ($10 each) was too high. Tech was on time for appt. and was very courteous - but did not check operation of garage door as part of repair protocol. Fortunately, I remembered to ask him to do so at the end of his visit - and some adjustments were necessary. I'm sure it was an oversight on his part. I've used this company before, and will use them again as necessary.

Everything is working well (I add a little lubrication to the chain drive (original uint), to make it work better two month later). The door work well after more than a year of service, but fortunitly have not had the chance to test the strength of the door during a hurricane. The only minor thing was that the hole drilled in my garage concret floor to secure the center post (part of the strom rating design) was not round as I would expect, need a better concret drill.

The repairman was supposed to arrive between 0830 and 1030.  I got a call at 1000 saying he would be here at 1100.  He arrived at 1100 on the dot and said he would be done in 3 hours.  The job took almost 4 hours which made me late for my afternoon appointment.  He also did not replace all the wiring for the new garage door opener.  He just hooked up the new opener to the 20 year old wires.  When I asked for new wiring he said that insurance prevented him from getting into our attic to replace the wiring.

Tech arrived as promised within 15 minutes found problem and made proper adjustments. In and out in a little less than one hour.

It was great, the serviceman was professional, hardworking, knowledgeable (8 yrs experience in garage doors), and punctual.

I called on Monday for an appointment. The company said they could be there tomorrow butI was not available on Tuesday. I made the appointment for Wednesday. Very fast, professional service. Technician arrived on time and service was as promised.

Service techs arrived on time. Performed work as expected and did an excellent job. Provided advice for future service and providing a product (can of lubricant) that would possibly avoid a future service call. Technician was knew his business and was very friendly and professional.
