MR TRANSMISSION

My husband drives a Dodge Ram 1500 which is known for having transmission problems.  We never had any issues until one day the truck wouldn't shift into any gears.  It wouldn't accelerate and could not be driven.  After doing extensive research, I took it to Mr. Transmission in FWB.  Luckily, I had an extended warranty on the truck that I had purchased at a credit union when I financed my loan.  
After the owner, did a test - he knew the transmission had gone out and he then proceeded to get all the information on my warranty company.  He called the company for me and explained what happened.  They initially only wanted to pay what I had paid for the warranty (around $1500).  He told them that it was unacceptable, and negotiated with them directly to pay for $1500 if I got a used transmission, but for them to pay $2000 for a rebuilt transmission.  
He called me to let me know the options.  While I was deciding, I gave him permission to take the transmission out and apart to see what was wrong with it.  Once he had done this, he called me and explained in detail what was wrong with the transmission.  At this point, I still had not decided.  He answered all my questions and I even stopped by to look at what was wrong.  He took me in the back room and showed me the parts that had been extensively damaged.  I decided to rebuild my transmission and he dealt with the warranty company directly. He even got it arranged so they would pay him directly and I would not have to be reimbursed.  
After a few days, I had not heard anything.  I called him and he told me he would have the transmission done that afternoon.  I picked it up the following business day and he proceeded to give me information on breaking it in, and how often I would need to do a transmission flush.  
He was very knowledgeable and I really appreciated him going above and beyond in making sure the warranty company was honest and I received the benefit of having purchased a warranty.  I still had to pay $900 out of pocket, however I felt he was honest, knowledgeable and trustworthy.  Should anything else happen where I need transmission services, I would go back again.
