Marks of Improvement

It was fabulous! They took a stick figure drawing from the back of a napkin and turned
it into something that people on the canal stop and stare at. I have
had several different people pull up on their boats and compliment the
work, as well as ask who did it. I can't say enough wonderful things
about David and Kavin. They have done work for us off and on for the
last 4 years - they have the ability to take an abstract idea and make
it a reality. Their attention to detail and professionalism can't be
beat!

Where to begin saying excellent things about Marks of Improvement...?
I am updating my older home by replacing wood paneling with sheet-rock, installing wood/laminate flooring, painting, etc., but had to live in it while this work was being done.
First, being non-knowledgeable about any type of home improvement, I was afraid of being hood-winked.
David gave me a bid that was 1/2 the costs of other bids I had received. He and Kevin do the work themselves, they didn't sub-contract, thus keeping strangers out of my house. Making me feel comfortable was a top priority.
Davids attention to detail is remarkable. He looked like an actor from the TV show CSI with his LED flashlight, checking for missed spots. He has a great ability for explaining ideas. Provided pics of things I didn't understand.
They run a clean job, picking up after themselves daily. Any extras were approved beforehand.
I cannot thank David and Kevin enough for everything they did to make me happy. They went the extra mile by sending pics to my daughter and even helped me move furniture.
These are a couple of top notch fellows!

They worked as we agreed and did an outstanding job. The fence was installed to provide our Chihuahua a place to run and play. They followed my general instructions as to where I wanted the fence installed and how clost to the ground in needed it to be which was made more difficult by the slope of our yard. The fence was done on time and on budget. I did not find out that this was their first vinyl fence until the job was completed, but you would never know it by looking at the job they did! David has worked for me before and will be called on again when I need his servicese

We have used Marks of Improvement 4 times and just called them back for the 5th time. They are wonderful to deal with and very trustworthy, which is important to me - we live 1800 miles away from the work being done. I cant recommend them highly enough.

David Marks owns it. The previous owner of the house had it vented through the roof and apparently failed to realize that gravity affects things blowing up and a panel that was left had holes. The back pressure in the vent was too high so I had David come out and re-vent the dryer. It was a fairly expensive project. It has worked quite well since then. I realize that people may think that the price I paid was a lot for just a dryer vent but since it went under the house and it was lengthy and complex, he had to tear into the wall in order to undo what the previous owner had done. It was a lot of work involved and it was worth the money.

It was a great experience! I recommend David highly!~
