It went extremely well. Window had to be special order because of there size. Folker’s did the job with ease. Would recommend them to family and friends.

They did a great job and got it done in record time. I love my new windows and it totally transformed the rooms with more light. They were very responsive and did not high pressure me at all. I would definitely hire them again and I would highly recommend them. .

First, the representative who came out to give a quote made several suggestions that we had not thought of. We appreciated that he gave us options and let US decide if we wanted to spend a little more or go a more economical route. Second, the communication, before, during and after the install was exceptional. They kept us in the loop and they responded quickly to any calls we made to them. Third, the installation went smoothly and quickly. They had a process and routine that enabled them to do the install with little "waiting around" time. Last, as with any renovation, we discovered a couple of minor problems after the work was done. All our problems were addressed and fixed promptly. This is the second home for which Folker's has provided new windows. We were extremely pleased both times.

What can I say except that Folkers is by far one of the best companies there is in this area. They’re 27+ years in business pays testament to that fact. They installed a new entry impact resistant door to our house. From the sales, to the installation, painting the entry the exact color we wanted to the final inspection was nothing short of outstanding. Two years ago we had them install impact resistant windows as well. That was the reason we hired them again. And received a military discount to boot. If you want quality work at a great price and knowing they stand behind their products, then you can’t go wrong.

Workmanship and quality were great, communication and performance were awful. Owner is very unprofessional and his example malfeasance runs throughout the business. It’s to bad that communication is so poor, Folkers used to be a great organization....

"I have to disagree with [Member Name Removed] on his personal attack on me and his attack on the good folks at Folkers. When I had my discussion with him, all I asked him to do was to honor his word and his written contract and pay what was due, based on his word and contract, which he refused to do. I acquiesced to [Member Name Removed]'s demands in an effort to provide customer service, obviously to no avail. Once the project was complete, there were a few hole covers that needed to be reordered and those did take awhile to receive from the manufacturer. These are very minor, cosmetic parts that do not affect the functionality of the windows. Unfortunately, we are all at the mercy of busy manufacturers for parts and pieces. The good folks at Folkers stuck to the job until it was complete."

Spoke with sales rep from manufacturer. Price of door $3600 and includes screen door and track. The $4000 price charged by Folkers did not include screen or track. BUYER BEWARE of quoted prices from Folkerrs..... Weather strip that was finally removed and should have not been there was for the screen doors that were not provided. The demands were clearly stated to office manager the day after installation. They were to remove weather strip , provide white powder coated screws to replace visible stainless screws on inside and outside of door. The trim was not installed correctly and after a week of requests it was fixed correctly. After a few days of use the door locks did NOT work and once again after several requests the locks were properly installed. These issues could have been easily addressed, instead many requests had to be made for proper installation. No added parts requested only the track for screen door which according to manufacturer should have been provided and installed. payment was held until all issues were addressed as requested. If payment was not withheld I am confident issues would not have been addressed.

"This review is full of erroneous and incorrect information, thus we have legal counsel involved. I have to disagree with the customer. Nobody at the manufacturer spoke with the customer, per my conversations with the manufacturer. Manufacturers that sell products via dealers do not quote prices to non dealers. Regardless, the $3,600.00 price information provided by the customer is in accurate. The customer asked for the door to not include a screen as the door leads to a covered pool area. If a screen is not needed, then nor is a screen track for the screen to reside in. The demands that were stated changed continuously and changed following completion of the job. Our documentation does not mention anything about "trim" being installed incorrectly. Based on the manner in which the lock failed, it appeared that the lock had either been manipulated or abused but we fixed it anyway. The customer was not happy with the screws that were visible and once the customer finally understood that the option was to replace with white screws, he accepted this resolution at which time we removed the weather stripping as well. The customer is absolutely incorrect in that had payment not been withheld we would have not fixed the issues. Our contract states that the customer can withhold a portion of the contracted amount while we address and punch list issues. These terms were violated but we provided the service regardless. By the way, the door passed the building inspection the first time with no issues from the building inspector meaning the door was properly installed but the customer had issues with the aesthetics."

The entire process was longer than anticipated but everything was special order and just took time. The entire process was professional and easy, from the initial sales, estimate, measurements to installation. The installation crew was top notch, excellent attention to detain, and cleaned up each and every day. I was sold on Folkers due to their reputation for quality and because they employ their workers and don’t use contractors. Additionally the can fix most unforeseen issues that can crop up. I would recommend Folkers for window and door work!

It has been a little over a year since the windows were installed. All the work has held up beautifully and we have noticed a big difference in our heating and electric bills. This was a very pleasant experience. The gentlemen that installed the windows were knowledgeable and courteous. They worked efficiently and cleaned up afterwards. Hands down a great experience!

We had Folker's install our new windows, vinyl siding around top part of house, install new doors, and also new shutters on our home. We were kept up-to-date of installation dates through phone calls and emails, also received emails on delay issues. We had two very polite and experienced workers from Folkers install our product and they did an excellent job. They always made sure that everything was cleaned up before they left each day, it took 5 days to get it all done. They also was very nice about my picky things. The sales rep did a good job explaining everything and was always a call away to answer questions or if I emailed him he responded quickly. I had an issue with my doors and the matter was resolved very quickly and taking care of with no hesitation. I highly recommend Folkers to anyone needing new windows, doors, vinyl siding, shutters.

The whole project went almost flawless. The weather was absolutely gorgeous on day one and on day two a small rain shower held off until well after the project was completed. Our crew, Dan and Alan, were very good at installing windows and worked diligently from the time they arrived to the time they departed, very professional and passionate in making sure the window installation went well. I am well pleased with the outcome. The reason I chose Folkers over the competition is they were the only company that could give an impact glass window with an arched top without dividing the window into a rectangular window with an arched transom above it. I loved the look of this installation! It may be an expensive update but I don't believe that any other in our complete house remodel has given me greater satisfaction.

Arrived on time. Robert and Josh were very professional while they were installing our windows. They were neat and cleaned up as they installed each window. Furniture was moved and returned with care. 2 screens were torn and they were ordered before Robert and Josh left. They will be replacing the windows at my moms house. Best contractors we have used since we moved to Alabama.

The work was done efficiently by a two-man team in approximately four hours. The team was professional, and I now have a complete set of easy-to-install storm panels. It took approximately 12 weeks from the time the measurements were taken to the time of installation. I am very pleased with the results.
