Hired Executive to do landscaping and hardscape.  While the landscaping went well and quickly the hardscape in the back was slow and took nearly a year.  We described what we wanted, the consultant/crew boss had some ideas that he said would work great which ended up being flagstone set in coarse limestone.  The limestone washed out, tracked everywhere and the flagstone was unstable. The also broke an irrigation line that took weeks to get them to fix it. We called multiple times, when we could get someone to come out they would half fix things and say they would be back tomorrow to never be seen again.  After the first consultant was fired/quit the second came out and said it all looked terrible and she would take care of it.  Same thing happened again, work would get half done and we would never see a worker again.  The third consultant finally came out, said it all looked terrible and they would really need to start over to make it look good.  This time the work was done quickly and looked good but it was nearly a year to do what was a couple days worth of work.

Appointment was made. Color and type paver selected. The day of installation came. The crew arrived with owner overseeing meticulous work. I have used Executive Landscaping on several occasions. Reny, the owner, is VERY professional and obviously loves his job. The work was done and we could not be happier. No complaints whatsoever.

Executive Landscaping would come twice a month and each visit something would be done that shouldn't have been such as using a blower for leaves which also blew out all our rocks from between the flagstone walkway. They replaced the rocks after several months of continuing to blow them out and then even after replacing the rocks, they continued to blow them out! Then pruning would be done to early or plants cut down to short which later killed the plant they installed during the initial landscaping. I had several calls with the crew manager but to no avail. He said, "well I've told them what to do but when the cat's away the mice will play". Shocking to hear! I told him that maintenance shouldn't be this difficult. We had 10 foot hedges that he admitted should have been trimmed monthly but my wife and I did it because they never did it. It was so frustrating! Plants were dying because the drip sprinkler system wasn't working which the crew manager admitted should've been discovered by the crew. So even after all this and many discussions, the maintenance never improved. The Quality Assurance associate Abe did a poor job attempting to recover our business and seemed to have forgotten previous conversations. So, we ultimately cancelled our contract and are now looking for a good and reliable lawn service.

Executive Landscaping Inc. was very costly but they did a fantastic work. They were very professional and they were just really talented in their designs.

Executive Landscaping identified problems with our turf grass and recommended a change that has resolved issues that we had for two years prior. Now, over a year after the first work they performed, the lawn is healthy and happy. When installing the sod, they showed us how and where the existing irrigation system was deficient and contributed to our lawn problems. When there were issues outside their area of expertise, they helped us identify other providers and were most helpful in coordinating the work. The value for the price paid was outstanding. We recently had some hedges removed, and were again impressed with the work ethic displayed, the quality of oversight, and the professionalism of the crew. the crew who performs weekly maintenance consistently exceeds our expectations. They are very careful with our plantings, are on the lookout for any problems or weeds, and work efficiently. We are always treated respectfully and courteously.

The contractor did not install the landscape agreed to. He changed out plants, installed very poor quality stepping stones, and did not provide water to all plants. He did not obtain approval from the association where we live for all the written plans, so he actually just put in a smaller overall gardent than agreed. He stated "You will be able to walk in high heels" on the walk way discussed; far from it, one trips even when wearing sneakers walking on the garden path, and our older friends cannot walk on the pathways at all. While they are pretty rock paths, they are almost unusable. Later I found out others in our area had had been very disappointed with his work. Many of the plants he put in are not suited to our climate and died later during a colder winter. He put sun plants in shady areas, which lasted one year then died. I will be redoing much of our yard in the near future. I cannot recommend him.
