Would have chosen 0 stars if it was an option. They have an OVER 50% markup on parts because you HAVE to get the 3 yr. warranty even if you don't need it. The problem with that is that they are a Napa center, but you can buy the radiator at Napa for $218 with a LIFETIME WARRANTY, they charged me $453, you don't need that 3 yr. warranty they make you buy. Radiator hoses, at napa cost $25.20, they charged me $49.49. Evans said they had to get the parts from Ford, why?? Because they would have had to order them from Napa and it would take a week. So, why didn't you give me that option, no answer to that!!!!
Response from EVANS AUTOMOTIVE SERVICE CENTER
"[Member Name Removed]; We are sorry you were unhappy with your last experience with us. We moved forward with the approved work, with your consent. We don't believe it is ethical to hold your vehicle for a week waiting on a radiator hose to ship in order to save $20. Beyond over-the-counter pricing you researched, our parts have additional expenses for us including delivery, experience to select the best/most appropriate parts, people to order them, shop warranties, and the ability for us to pay our employees. We make it our mission to ensure that every customer drives away from our auto repair shop feeling satisfied by providing great service at a fair price. We are happy to answer any questions for you by calling me at 850-455-7374. Thank you - Polly Evans"

It's real close to us and they are very thorough and although they are real high on price they really do a very good job so my husband feels comfortable going there. They are expensive. They are worth it in the long run.

I really had a good experience here. They are very thorough, and are proactive with recommending services that you may want to consider in the future (without making you feel like they are just trying to "upsell" you something).
Honestly, it's hard to find a trustworthy mechanic. Evans is definitely my favorite place in town. If you really care about your car, I'd recommend this place above anywhere else.

They were super quick in fixing the alternator and battery - car arrived at 2:30pm and we got the call to pick up at 5pm.  I felt the price was slightly high but well worth it to not be without a car for days.  They clearly were prepared to handle the problem (did not have to order any parts) and were very friendly.

I own a high mileage vehicle that I a baby. It provides very reliable, comfortable, and cost effective transportation. Other than for tires, the vehicle has always been serviced by a dealer. A dealer is not a convenient option where I now live and I decided to give Evans a try. I was impressed by their willingness to make sure mine and the vehicles needs were met. A call to confirm my expectations regarding factory suggested items, without the feeling I was being up-sold, was appreciated. They have a clean and professional shop and I plan to use them again in the future.

We have had over $5,000 worth of "service" performed on our vehicles at Evans.  Each time, there was always something else that needed to be done which ALWAYS resulted in additional parts & labor.
I am too upset with the service and price that I am reluctant to say more than that I shall never darken their door again.  The last service writer, Mike, was condescending and rude, treating us like we were less than second class citizens, insulting our intelligence.  They would not stand behind the work that they did on the air conditioning.  We paid in excess of $1,900 to have the entire system re-built early on but the system never functioned correctly.  Finally, we had a high-pressure hose replaced, something that should have been done in the first place, only to have a continuing leak problem.  The final straw was when we were told that it was, again, "something else" and then they had the audacity to charge us.  NEVER AGAIN !!!!!
Response from EVANS AUTOMOTIVE SERVICE CENTER
"[Member name removed], when you came in about two years ago you could not swith from hot to cold. We found that the doors behind the dash were broken. We pulled your dash to gain access the the air box Nd found three doors that were broken. We showed you the parts and system worked. You brought car back about nime month later and a/c not cooling properly. We found a high pressure line leaking. We fixed and tbe /c was cooling again. The next visit wwe did find another leak. Your vehicle has many components that could leak or fail. We do stand behind our warranty for the items we do replace. When we repair one item in a system it is possible that another item can fail. Evans automotive strive on you getting great service and stand behind our website arranty."

Took me a long time to post this review because I wasn't sure how I felt. I took my car in based on favorable Internet reviews. I had a bad squeal in the front and told them it was the brakes because I'd had them worked on several times (in GA) and they never got them right. Instead when I picked up the car I was told the front were fine but the back needed to be changed (which I thought would also need to be done) and I had a broken motor mount that was causing the vibrations I noticed.
The car seemed fine for about 50 miles and then the vibration started up again even worse, and the front squeal was just as bad. I took it back a week later. This time they found the front brakes were indeed messed up (worse than I suspected) and had not really been checked at all. So I was unhappy about the lack of professionalism, but happy about their response in making it right.
But they told me another motor mount needed to be replaced, which also made me unhappy because they didn't find that when they were replacing the first one. But it did explain why the vibration came back so quickly. The second time I was in, a mechanic came out and explained in detail what was likely going on. His explanation made a lot of sense, and I felt that the second trip in resulted in a more professional job overall.
I will give them credit for investigating a rattle in the rear which I thought was the spoiler. They had a guy sit in the truck while they drove around the parking lot! Turns out it was a broken plastic clip which can't be repaired (and I get that--it's an old car that has other plastic clips breaking that I can see).
So, they messed it up the first time but really made sure it was right the second time. So would I go back? Yeah. I will.

My husband's car. He said he paid the same here as he would have at the dealers but got far more done, and was very happy with how well everything was explained to him.

It is a good service, but a little high.  In addition, the demeanor of their staff is good.
