"[Member Name Removed]; We are sorry you were unhappy with your last experience with us. We moved forward with the approved work, with your consent. We don't believe it is ethical to hold your vehicle for a week waiting on a radiator hose to ship in order to save $20. Beyond over-the-counter pricing you researched, our parts have additional expenses for us including delivery, experience to select the best/most appropriate parts, people to order them, shop warranties, and the ability for us to pay our employees. We make it our mission to ensure that every customer drives away from our auto repair shop feeling satisfied by providing great service at a fair price. We are happy to answer any questions for you by calling me at 850-455-7374. Thank you - Polly Evans"

"[Member Name]. - Thanks for taking the time for a review. We are glad you are happy, and please keep us in mind for "anything automotive"!"
Honestly, it's hard to find a trustworthy mechanic. Evans is definitely my favorite place in town. If you really care about your car, I'd recommend this place above anywhere else.
"T.G. - Thanks so much for the review! We truly value your business, and we will work very hard to maintain your trust."

"We are glad you are happy with the service you received. Our prices reflect the use of highest quality parts and a 2 yrs/24,000 mile warranty - We'll keep you on the road!"
I am too upset with the service and price that I am reluctant to say more than that I shall never darken their door again. The last service writer, Mike, was condescending and rude, treating us like we were less than second class citizens, insulting our intelligence. They would not stand behind the work that they did on the air conditioning. We paid in excess of $1,900 to have the entire system re-built early on but the system never functioned correctly. Finally, we had a high-pressure hose replaced, something that should have been done in the first place, only to have a continuing leak problem. The final straw was when we were told that it was, again, "something else" and then they had the audacity to charge us. NEVER AGAIN !!!!!
"[Member name removed], when you came in about two years ago you could not swith from hot to cold. We found that the doors behind the dash were broken. We pulled your dash to gain access the the air box Nd found three doors that were broken. We showed you the parts and system worked. You brought car back about nime month later and a/c not cooling properly. We found a high pressure line leaking. We fixed and tbe /c was cooling again. The next visit wwe did find another leak. Your vehicle has many components that could leak or fail. We do stand behind our warranty for the items we do replace. When we repair one item in a system it is possible that another item can fail. Evans automotive strive on you getting great service and stand behind our website arranty."
The car seemed fine for about 50 miles and then the vibration started up again even worse, and the front squeal was just as bad. I took it back a week later. This time they found the front brakes were indeed messed up (worse than I suspected) and had not really been checked at all. So I was unhappy about the lack of professionalism, but happy about their response in making it right.
But they told me another motor mount needed to be replaced, which also made me unhappy because they didn't find that when they were replacing the first one. But it did explain why the vibration came back so quickly. The second time I was in, a mechanic came out and explained in detail what was likely going on. His explanation made a lot of sense, and I felt that the second trip in resulted in a more professional job overall.
I will give them credit for investigating a rattle in the rear which I thought was the spoiler. They had a guy sit in the truck while they drove around the parking lot! Turns out it was a broken plastic clip which can't be repaired (and I get that--it's an old car that has other plastic clips breaking that I can see).
So, they messed it up the first time but really made sure it was right the second time. So would I go back? Yeah. I will.
