"Never did I think I would be writing a bad review rebuttal on emotional conjecture, vice the actual job we completed. I can fix problems or issues with a job, I can?t fix someone accusing me of insinuating they are liars. The actual issue she is so upset about is completely innocuous; it boils down to a quick interaction about whether-or-not estimates for the deck and porch were sent. I, honestly, fail to understand why this even matters. Bottom line, she can assume I called her a liar, but I never said nor even suggested said assumption, I just told her the fact that I never created or sent those additional estimates. All estimates I create are sent through Quickbooks and she can?t produce the estimates she claims I sent, nor can she show me a text of a ?rough? estimate, because I have never texted with Phyllis. Let's review what was requested and accomplished. I received her request from Home Advisor on 31 May for 'Replace attic pull down stairs Change out hanging lite/kitchen Replace vent-a-hood - kitchen Clean/repair front porch fencing detail Finish deck fencing off back deck.' I met with her and we spent approx. an hour together initially reviewing the multi-job handyman work. From there she had mentioned that her deck was sagging and flooding beneath which greatly expanded initial job of adding ?fencing?, so we discussed possible remedies. After that, she showed us a crawlspace door that was beyond it?s useful service life, which we said would be added to the handyman estimate. Lastly, we talked about her porch issues which were much more complex with rotted columns and support posts. I suggested we break the jobs into different sections; do the multi-job handyman work first, then address the deck separately and lastly the porch she agreed and mentioned she was in no rush for the porch job. Spent a little less than an hour and all for free on that meeting. Upon leaving I had discussed with my partner that we would likely not do the porch as the job was complex and beyond our scope. This matters, because I never would have created an estimate for a job I ultimately intended not to take on. Estimate was sent to Phyllis for multi handyman job. Phyllis responded saying she was going to hold off on crawlspace door, but add changing out rotted door jam and trim at garage. I said we would remove an hour of labor, because the door jam job would take less time than crawlspace door construction. She accepted said estimate which came through Quickbooks and we worked to schedule job. We were able to lock down a date and time. My two guys showed up on time and did all the work; working in 90+ degree heat and took approx. 5 hours to complete. I showed up at the end to review, deciding the outdoor job needed some touch-up wood fill and trim paint and the ceiling fan globe was a bit off, to which I tried to adjust. It was at that point I believe the globe may have been damaged. While there she asked how much to put on a cabinet hinge, which I did fo"
