Coastal Moving and Storage

Seeing online reviews seemed promising in using this company. However, as an Air Force Veteran as well as my husband just medically retiring we have never had such a terrible move. We have pcsed multiple times and never had such a terrible representative. Mr. Jay Bradshaw was absolutely the most unprofessional owner of a company we have yet to meet. My husband and I are moving down the street from our current home as our final move. We were advised by military that we could have one packing day and next day would be pick up/ drop off if packers finished early. First off our survey was 100% incorrect in the weight. As we told the surveyor what would not be here he was probably 4,000 pounds off. We contacted Mr. Jay Bradshaw to ensure we could have our move the following day as packers were already almost complete. We explained to him we have 5 children and need our belongings. Instead he proceeded to say “I don’t care”, and that wasn’t his issue as he raised his tone of voice. And then something about only wanting to speak to my husband as he is the main member on the move (which is fine). He will pick up 48 hours later and no guarantee of when he will drop off, as they have about 10 days. Our belongings are more effort to store than drop off two miles away. With all the respect, his attitude and professionalism was extremely poor. My husband and I ended up calling the TMO office and opting to do a Partial DITY move; rented a truck ourselves and loaded it with what we need (mattresses etc) to be able to accommodate our large family in our new home and not live entirely out of boxes. Aside from Mr. Jay Bradshaw’s attitude problem (he even called the packers to tell him to inventory boxes and be careful that now an inspector might show up); at least our packers were wonderful. Too bad the owner’s attitude is disgusting. Absolutely do not recommend this company if that owner is who represents it. It is not about the fact that they are poorly handling the move. It is the pure disrespect and lack of customer service skills. Hopefully our belongings are not broken in this 2 mile move with multiple loads and unloads.

Very professional and courteous. Respectful of our stuff. Really excellent service. They were at our house when scheduled and performed all packing and loading in a reasonable amount of time. Same goes for delivery, arrived on time unloaded in a very reasonable amount of time. Handled our stuff carefully and were very courteous.
