Great! We had the car towed to the shop and they ordered the part and had it back to us by the next day. It's been running perfectly since then- much better than it was before it went out.
Bobe's is our regular garage. We use them all the time and they've always delivered great service for fair prices. They are the only mechanics I would trust with our vehicles.

Went in for an oil change. Owner informed me that we needed a new and quot;Timing Belt Tensioner.and quot; He said he could do it for about $600. I told him to go ahead. He then charged $768.00. As I left his driveway, I heard a loud whine. It souded like a very irate tomcat. I could tell from the timing, that it was the power steering pump. Went back to Bobe's. Owner said and quot;We didn't TOUCH your power steering. His mechanic said and quot;Yes we did. I had to move it to install the tensioner.and quot; After much discussion, I decided to contact the BBB and they contacted Bobe. He responded with lies. I responded, and he couldn't remember his lies, so he responded with contradictory fairy tales. I took the car to Pensacola Honda and they took care of everything in a reasonable time, for reasonable cost.

I called Bobe's after a bad experience with the local Lincoln dealership where, for a minor problem, they took my car at 8:00am and had not looked at it by 3:00pm. When I went to collect the car from Lincoln the service guy said that there was and quot;something major, major, MAJOR, MAJOR wrong with my carand quot; and that if the HAD looked at it at 8:00a they would STILL be hunting down the electrical problem: this, at what, $100/hour labor? That the Data port was where THEY plugged their diagnostics computers in to and that if the data port was malfunctioning then something serious was wrong.
I asked if they had LOOKED at the fuse and was told NO.....and that they couldn't guarantee that my car would be seen the same day that I dropped it off......we argued - I left.
I called Bobe's and spoke with Kevin who told me what I suspected, that a fuse might be to blame....I made an appointment for the following day at 8:00a.
My wife followed me and we dropped the car off.
By 9:00am Kevin called: 'Do you want the good news or the bad news?'I said, let me have it......He said the good news is that your car is fixed.....(less than an hour after I left it).......and the bad news is that it didn't cost much money: $45.68
.He had repaired the outlet that wasn't working - it had shorted out the fuse and he replaced that....and I picked it up by 10:00am FIXED.
Lincoln was WRONG - nothing MAJOR at all.....these guys (kevin and the owner Steve) are skilled and HONEST!
What more can you ask for?
I called Lincoln and related this story to the service department and told them that unless something that ONLY Lincoln could replace went wrong - that they had seen the last of me.

After travelling 300 miles, our truck brakes started rumbling. We were not close to home and used Angie's list to find an auto repair in the area. Bobe's Garage did a thorough assessment and completed the work in less than 3 hours. The staff was very friendly. We had recently installed new brake pads on the truck but the mechanic recognized that the calipers needed replacement. We were pleased with the service, the install time, and the price.

Since they were going to outsource the repair work they could not give a definitive answer and left the estimate open ended. I felt uncomfortable and had the car towed by a friend who did the work replacing the housing, pulleys, belt as well as additional brake work for less than their estimate which did not include the housing repair. To be fair my friend is a step or two above a shade tree mechanic wanting to open his own shop so his expenses are not as high. To me the real issue revolved around not being able to get a definitive price.
