My edger was still under factory warranty. The pull cord had no tension on it. After close to 3 weeks it was "repaired", but when I went to pick it up I was told that when they put it back together, they discovered the belt was bad. This is after it was dissembled and the belt was off, but no one noticed the belt was bad until they put it back together. So, they charged me for the belt, which was fine, but also charged me for labor to take it apart and reassemble it AGAIN! And guess what! It did the same thing the next time I used the edger! NO TENSION ON THE PULL CORD!!! I had bought a lot of parts from Mary over the years, but after this happened last year, I have not been back to Bellview small engine non-repair nor will I ever! Not a good way to keep customers! And believe me, I have told numerous friends and neighbors about this. Bad news travels a lot faster than good!

The Tory-built riding lawn mower was less than two years old. The first repair was because the Mexico plant put a belt on the machine that looked like it had been used as a collar on a donkey for a year. The new belt was installed but incorrectly in 2014
by Lowes repair center who did a cross threaded bolt on the power take off pulley. This  created the need for a second repair which Bellview did. I am very happy with Bellview.

They give an honest appraisal of the work needed and do a satisfactory job. Be aware however that they require a cash deposit for an estimate - no checks or credit cards.

Was unable to start my riding mower after replacing the spark plug and using starting fluid. Took the mower to Bellview Small Engine repair and the mechanic came out to help me get the mower off the truck and immediately started asking questions about why I brought it in. Next he began to try different ways to start the mower including checking the air filter, checking for compression with a gauge , checking the spark plug by attaching a gauge and saw no spark was coming from the spark plug. Seeing there was no spark (even with a brand new spark plug) he said it was probably my coil. He suggested I go inside the office to fill out the paperwork necessary to leave my mower for repairs. While waiting behind another customer, the mechanic who had worked on my mower came in and said he needed to see me outside. When I walked outside the mower was running and he said it was a very simple fix he had overlooked. He then helped me get the mower back on the truck but when I said I needed to pay him for his 10 minutes of mechanic's time he said it was not necessary. I was truly amazed and did not realize these acts of kindness still went on. I was certainly prepared to pay for a coil and the install fee but obviously the mechanic was honest enough to get the mower going without having to pay for a new coil (or anything at all). I will definitely be back the next time I have another repair job!!!

IT WENT GREAT! THEY DID WHAT THEY SAID THEY WERE GOING TO DO.. WERE FAST AND PUNCTUAL, AND VERY PROFESSIONAL. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM AND I WILL CERTAINLY BE USING THEM IN THE FUTURE

The service they did was pretty good and it's not expensive. They had everything ready for me.
