Have used Barberi for over 10 years. From friendly reliable service to fair prices I've been very happy. When my AC unit stopped getting cold, they said I could replace the entire unit or just replace the worn components for a lot less. I went with the later since that fit my budget. They have been doing routine service on the unit for over 10 years. As an out of town owner I've been extremely happy with the results and service.

Barberi heating and air Lied to me! Please call for second opinions before using this company!! I was lied to from their salesman saying the freon used in my A/C was banned and I had to purchase a new A/C unit. I was given a price for the unit and I asked is this with tax installation included and was told yes that is everything. That is not the price that they put on the contract. I called them and all they did was complain about how they were going to lose money and the amount was different because they had to charge me a fee that was charged to them by Greensky financing. I spoke with Greensky and they told me I have to pay it because I signed the contract. I spoke over the phone and was given a price from Barberi, wrote that price on the contract and they changed it again after getting it back. They told me they would come back to do a recheck on the system in two weeks have not heard one word from this company, it has been over 2 months! This company will rip you off!! I have photos from the Binder with prices and they said I really needed to add a REME Halo because it would get rid of all allergens and my house would smell like a hospital instead of the dogs. The total price he told me on the phone to write on the contract was $8251. He changed the price again after he got the contract back to the office to $9270. So this company lied to me about the freon ban which does not go into effect until year 2020, and they are taking money from me that was not agreed too! He told me the price total of $8251 then he changed it again AFTER I signed it to the $9270 again.

Missed communication within Barberi as to date they were to come to the house but no harm, no foul.  The discussion with and education from their tech was worth the wait.  I have used Barberi before for other services and am quite pleased with them.  I am a retired IT officer with the Feds so was in "tech" my entire career.  While not an expert on HVAC, plumbing, or deep details of these sorts of systems and equipment, my job required me, and I was trained, to have basic to intermediate knowledge to converse intelligently with local contractors and service people working with these systems all over the world.  The goal was to know enough to make sure we were getting the services we needed , were not being ripped off by a BS artist and to do the basics myself if I had to.  There are as many BS artists overseas as there are in the US, and often they try to take advantage of the diplomatic/bureaucratic types, who are notoriously tech illiterate.  Barberi have always respected my interactions with them, were not condescending and neither did they try to bury me with technobabble when I had questions.

Called prior to arrival and was on time. Throughout his work Dave was efficient and knowledgeable, interacting with a with a friendly personality, including taking the time to remind us how to maintain the unit better between tune ups.

Had good / excellent ratings (A+) on list so called. Got same day service. Techs were clean, friendly and worked efficiently.

The technician,Shawn, was prompt, professional, and politely explained what services were needed for my AC.

The HVAC service was definitely worth the money.  The refrigerant was a lot more than I thought it would be, hopefully 4lbs for $146 is a good deal.  My A/C is running less, so my electric bill should go down.

Very informative, and pointed out maintenance things I could do but didn't know about.  The rep took me to the various parts of my HVAC system and pointed out all the things he inspected and that I should be aware of.  I chose Barberi because their ads listed all the things they'd check on their inspection.  Others did not, just saying instead that they had a 20, 25 or some other number of points inspection without saying specifically what they'd do.

They are always professional. They show up as promised and don't try to talk you into anything extra. They cost a slight bit more than others are advertising but their service is outstanding. They don't rush in and rush out. I will continue to use them for all future calls. .

Scheduled a routine service for my heat pump but the unit  stopped working a couple of days before the scheduled service. Company could have come out Saturday but I decided to wait till Monday.  Not only did the service call fix unit I was not charged any more than the service call.  Will use again.

UPDATE!!  Unit went out again and company was able fix the problem.  Without going into detail it is understandable how the problem was not completely fixed at the first service.  Spent about an hour working on unit and completed the job at no charge.  I didn't expect a service call but thought  there would be a labor charge.

It was great!  I made two appointments.  He started at my home.  I believed I would need a new unit.  He instructed me what to do.  He didn't sell me an un-needed unit.  He didn't charge me.  
Went down to my brothers and within just a few minutes provided the diagnosis and cost.  The price he quoted me was higher than the price he charged.  
Definitely recommend this company from calling for an appt. thru to the service provided.

Was very impressed with the service call.  Compressor is five years old but technician will make calls himself to see if unit is still covered by warranty.

My "new" house had been vacant for months. I called Barberi in the morning and someone came that afternoon. A very nice and competent professional checked my AC unit, and determined that it was in good working order. Determined that it was operator error (me!) in using the programmable thermostat.  I will use Barberi again if needed.

These guys are super, they kept me appraised as to the progress, fixed it and checked everything.

We are extremely pleased with the work Mr. Barberi did and will be using him again in the future.

I noticed on Sunday that my house was warm and when I checked my temp inside was 83.  I checked several things myself and called several knowledgeable people to be told I needed to contact an AC company.  I called several companies on the recommendation of others but had dealt in the past with Barberi. I called them along with a couple other companies and Barberi was the ONLY company I spoke with that day and the ONLY company that would see me on Monday and they were out as said.  I spoke with Dave on Sunday, he assured me someone would be out on Monday.  They contacted me on Monday to let me know they were running a little late due to an installation but only about 30 minutes late which I thought was nothing since I had called on a Sunday and this was Monday in the early afternoon.  They showed up in the pouring down rain, did not cancel on me, Thank you so much - and my problem was fixed !!!  They were awesome and I will continue to use them in the future.  They were excellent, prompt, professional, prices fair and did what they said and I appreciate that so much !!
