My air conditioning was working fine when I called for service. The quote was $75 which sounded really good. I had looked up what should be done online and asked about each point beforehand. The technician that came changed a capacitor for another $75. I mostly just let do his job and stayed out his way. It turns out the service core had been damaged and the r22had leaked out. The assistant manager came and fixed it, no charge. I decided to go out and look at the job. It had not been cleaned. The fins were dirty and I could see the bottom of the unit had leaves and dirt in it. I know the owner is in the red on this job but I paid for it to be cleaned. From where I'm looking I got a$2 capacitor for $150. The owner offered a refund. I want the fins cleaned with a soft bristle brush but at this point I do not want them to do it. I dont think they can service an air conditioning system ,fromthe other reviews they can probably install a new one fine.

Sunday and I found someone for $65 to examine and diagnose AC problem!! Great!...OR NOT!!! First worker filled up and charged me for freon. Found calibrator needed replacement. $450 plus $65 for coming out. Diagnosed as having slow leak of freon. Said probably the coils (part?). 12 hours later, no cool air again. Called Anderson and after reading previous day work order, the owner said I needed the coil replaced. Sean said they would order and then replace the freon I had just purchased ( $300 worth). This was Monday. spoke with Sean and paid an extra 150 to have coil part rushed in order to get air working. Total $850. Implied I was getting good deal for all. On Wednesday, worker came with part. Before replacing he decded to locate the leak. Come to find out, the leak was in the copper tube running under/in foundation. Not the coil. Was told it would still cost the same. Copper tubing was replaced. A few days later I noticed my draining tube outside was dry. I dug up against house and found lots of water at foundation. I called Anderson back out. Seems now my pvc drain tube had been broken. I had never had a prblem with it before. Ever. No way it could have broken unless it was done when the copper tube was replaced a few days earlier. Sean Anderson said there was no reason that it could have been done by his worker. I disagreed ademantly. Was told several times by him that they didnt do it. I insisted they did. He did replace the pvc drain tube and cleaned up water that had accumulated inside main pipe that holds all other lines fron in/outside. I was not charged any additional money. I would not have paid even if charged. Three trips to fix things, that if they had taken the time initially to diagnose the leak, it could have been fixed first visit. And Im guessing it could have cost less than $ 1365 + I will not use them again, and would not recommend their business to any of my friends.

Less than 4 hours after I contacted Sean at Anderson air, Mark (technician) arrived, remedied the situation and replied "no charge" before he left. This took place on a Saturday morning! You can't do any better than this. You can't.

They showed up on time.  They completed the task in under 4 hours.  The price was very fair for having to deal with the wiring mess of an old home.

The technician (seemed like a new guy) did his job, another technician came to review his job, even the owner came to the house to check that everything was OK, he said he was in the neighborhood. The job was done well, the area was cleaned, and no problem with my air since then.

Called around 10:45am and spoke with Danielle to explain that my elderly Mom's A/C was not cooling and was assured by Danielle someone could service the unit between noon - 2pm the same day. She called back 30 minutes later to tell me a service repairman was on his way as they wanted to make sure my Mom was taken care of as soon as possible due to her age.  The repairman (Mark) showed up at 11:45am and found the system was just a little low on refrigerant but the main problem was the blown capacitor.  After repairing the unit he came in and thoroughly explained what had happened and the work he performed (said in the last three weeks he had already replaced 40 capacitors due to all the lightning in the area).   Very impressed with the service call from start to finish and in fact will be setting up my Mom (and myself) with their twice a year maintenance program.

RECEIVED QUOTES AND ESTIMATES FROM 5 DIFFERENT HEATING AND A/C COMPANIES, OVER A TWO WEEK PERIOD AND RIGHT FROM THE START, IT WAS EVIDENT THAT SEAN ANDERSON WAS A BUSINESMAN THAT COULD BE TRUSTED TO GIVE YOU A GREAT PRICE, GREAT INSTALL AND EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SATISFACTION.  IN OUR FIRST MEETING HE SAID IF THERE WERE ANY PROBLEMS HE WOULD MAKE IT RIGHT.  HE WAS PERSONALLY INVOLVED IN ALL MATTERS CONCERNING QUOTE/ESTIMATE/INSTALL AND AFTER CARE.  HAD A 3 TON, 16 SEER, DUAL SPEED UNIT AND WIFI THERMOSTAT INSTALLED.  INITIALLY, AS SEAN ANDERSON WAS MY FIRST QUOTE OF MANY, I DIDN'T KNOW, AT THE TIME THAT MY WIFE AND I WOULD SELECT HIM FOR THE JOB.  THE PRICE SEEMED A LITTLE HIGH AT FIRST, BUT AFTER RECEIVING OTHER QUOTES IT WAS VERY COMPARABLE AND SEAN WENT SO FAR AS TO PROVIDE A NAT CERTIFIED TECH. TO DO THE GULF POWER REBATE INSPECTION CERTIFICATE TEST, AS WELL AS GIVE ME ANOTHER ADDED DISCOUNT.  DROPPED THE PRICE OF A VERY NICE UNIT TO AN EXCELLENT, AFFORDABLE PRICE.  THEN, IN ADDITION, HE THREW IN A SURGE PROTECTOR THAT I HAD MENTIONED WANTING TO HAVE DURING OUR MEETING.  HE ALSO HAD GREAT PRIDE AND TRUST FOR HIS CREW OF CHRIS, LUCAS AND WARREN.  HE SHOULD, AS THEY WERE ALL TRUE PROFESSIONALS THAT EACH HAD A POSITIVE INFLUENCE ON THE COMPLETE INSTALL AND AFTERCARE EXPERIENCE.  IT WAS A LEARNING EXPERIENCE FOR MYSELF, MY WIFE, AS WELL AS SEAN AND HIS CREW, AS THERE WAS A TINY CONFIGURATION GLITCH PROBLEM WITH THE WIFI THERMOSTAT.  ONCE SEAN AND HIS TEAM RESEARCHED, MADE PHONE CALLS AND CHECKED SETTINGS FOR THE STAT TO TALK TO A TWO STAGE UNIT, THE WHOLE SYSTEM WAS PURRING LIKE A KITTEN AND KEEPING MY WIFE AND I AS COOL AND DRY AS CUCUMBERS.  THEY WERE THERE EVERY DAY TRYING TO ENSURE MY WIFE AND I WERE SATISFIED AND COMFORTABLE.  HENCE, BACKING UP HIS STATEMENT AFTER FIRST MEETING HIM, THAT HE WOULD MAKE IT RIGHT.  COMPLETELY SATISFIED WITH ANDERSON AIR LLC AND I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM TO ANY OF MY FAMILY, FRIENDS, AND NEIGHBORS.

Angie's List is only one tool that I use to help me make a good decision. Understanding the workings of Angie's list provides another tool. Additional research and, finally, word of mouth brings me to a result. I love it when I win and Sean, Chris, Lucas and Warren definitely made me a winner. There were no negatives. The entire experience has exceeded my expectations. These guys installed a new high efficiency HVAC system in my home and I am grateful for their work. I can save you a lot of legwork by recommending that you just call Sean. It makes for a pretty easy win.

I signed up for a contract for maintenance and inspection reviews before spring and winter for which I was billed $129.00.  They will call and schedule an appointment before the start of spring and next winter.

Excellent workers installed the units (A/C & furnace), closed in closet, installed proper flue and parts. So far, unit is very quiet, comfortable, and cost efficient. And it's nice and warm in the coldest winter days. I'll report back on cooling after 2015 summer.

The HVAC system was blowing cold air and the fan was running constantly. I called Anderson and within 3 hours a tech showed up. He performed several tests and said it looked like a bad compressor. He called in and verified that it was still under warranty. Then he said before we go that route he wanted to check something else - a valve that he suspected might be sticking. That would be significantly less expensive to replace. In the course of that test he said he was also going to check the refrigerant as low refrigerant pressure might affect an otherwise OK valve operation. The refrigerant was low; he told me he was going to charge up the refrigerant and if that didn't get the valve working, he wouldn't charge for the refrigerant amount as he would have to drain the system anyway if he had to replace the valve. As it turned out, the refrigerant charging worked and the valve operated correctly once again. The tech stayed and performed numerous other tests to make sure the HVAC heating was working correctly.
What was totally impressive was the tech took the time to research possible reasons for the HVAC system not working, rather than just jump on the obvious (and most expensive) solution. This is the third time I've had Anderson Air do work for me, and they have consistently been thorough, professional, and quick to respond. Best by far HVAC company I've dealt with!

I first called Anderson Air and out of all the HVAC providers in the area they are one of the most respectful and delightful companies to do business with. The prices are fair and they arrive on schedule every time we have had service. The service technicians are polite and respectful and are always up front. Hard to find these days when a lot of HVAC companies are not upfront and honest.

Our heatpump has been taking a very long time to warm the house. I called Sean Anderson to check out the system and see what the problem was. Some of the wiring going to the motherboard was done incorrectly, and the system was very low on refrigerant. He added refrigerant and otherwise serviced the unit. I was impressed enough with his knowledge HVAC systems that I signed a one year service agreement with him.

Everyone was courteous, showed up on time and replaced the air handler and A/C unit. Feedback from the tenants, very positive and had nothing but good things to say about Anderson Air. Excellent job!

First rate job!  Our heat gave out while we were gone; came back Sunday to a cold house.  Called Anderson Air first thing Monday morning and I had someone to look at it before noon (ahead of schedule!)  The unit was beyond economical repair (19 years old too),  By 3PM I had an estimator here who went over all my options.  There was zero pressure to buy an expensive model; in fact, after asking some questions about how long we intended to keep the house etc., he recommended one of the less expensive ones.  I was worried it would take awhile to get it installed (another cold snap was coming in two days) but the crew was back promptly at 8AM the next morning (as scheduled).  Efficient, fast work with attention to detail!  Everything works as advertised, and they left no mess inside or out.

took about 2 weeks altogether because parts had to be ordered. Blower repaired first then it needed a new condenser unit outside. Corroded and leaking. Took a little long but they were very responsive and and price was fair.

They were awesome!!!! Very professional in EVERY manor. Answered questions, they had to do extra work to install the unit, an extra 3 hrs of labor for which they did not complain nor charge me for. Price was very reasonable. We are previous customers and we will continue to call them for our heating and cooling needs .

We had gotten 4 estimates from local HVAC contractors. They were all approximately the same price with the scope of work being similar. Three of the quotes were for Goodman equipment. Anderson Air's quote was for Bryant equipment
. We had a Goodman heat pump at our old house in Georgia and had lots of problems with it. For that reason, we chose Anderson Air even though his quote was $100 higher than the others. Sean and the crew showed up on the day of the install and quickly removed the old furnace. They found that the wood under the furnace had been wet from condensation from the air conditioner. Sean tested it and found it to be sturdy. I OKd leaving the old wood in place since they were putting down new 3/4 inch plywood under the new furnace. They also discovered that the power line to the furnace outlet had been illegally spliced behind the old furnace (which was installed by one of the companies who had provided us a quote. Needless to say, we're happy we didn't go with them because they either did the improper splice or did not fix it when they installed the old system.) Sean suggested a fix which I did while the installers went outside to pull the new refrigerant lines. The install proceeded and the AC was working by the end of the day. They returned the next day run the new flue pipe for the furnace.
This is the 4th HVAC installation I have been involved with and this one was by far the nicest, most professional installation yet. The outside condenser unit is installed on a 150mph wind rated pad, and the condenser is mounted to the pad. They ran a new condensate drain which is mounted to the side of the pad to carry the condensate away from the house (the old condensate line was pieced together in the furnace compartment and was coming apart. I don't know where it drained to--perhaps under the house.) Sean showed me how to clean out the trap on the condensate line with the brush they left at the furnace. Both the furnace fan and condenser are quiet. The system looks great, and I can't wait until hot weather to put it to the test!
