Abel Velarde Concrete

So he did two concrete slabs for us a 20 x 20 and a 15 x 15 and not only was it poor quality work he actually let a concrete truck drive into our backyard and not only did it leave huge ruts in our yard. It actually broke our sprinkler system. He said he was going to get some fill dirt and bring and he went to another job that he had started and brought bull crap dirt to our house with concrete mixed in with it. Took forever for my husband to get it all out of the backyard. You would think when you pay somebody what we paid over $6000 cash money he could've spent 150 or $200 whatever the case may be and bring us in some decent dirt. All he did was totally screw up the backyard and like I said the work was such poor quality . I would never use them recommend them to anybody else again. The only reason he actually got paid before he took care of what he should've took care of was my husband told me when he comes by and brings the fill dirt to pay him and I didn't know any difference I seen them out here, spreading it I gave him his money, and he drove off. Not to mention, it took two days one day he took her shovel the next day he took it again Bad businessman

I met Abel at a 4th of July party at my cousins. My cousin had used him to widen his driveway and extend his patio around his pool. When I was ready, I looked up Abel on Google and found his Facebook page. I called him to setup a time to get an estimate. He is a former Marine also as I am a retired Marine, so as taught, he showed up five minutes early. He text me, at my request, and kept me informed of any changes in schedule, such as the concrete delivery company was closed on the Friday after Thanksgiving. That was the day they were supposed to pour. They came on Friday anyway and did the digging, and setup. They showed up Monday early, of course, and began pouring the concrete. He said to wait until the following Monday to park the RV on it. That was fine as we were hauling the RV to the snowball derby on that Wednesday and not returning until the following Monday. They came back and removed wood early Monday morning.

Able told me it would take 2 days and it did. He worked hard and the concrete looks better than I could ever imagine. His team were just as meticulous and friendly. His wife is amazing! Go team Abel!!!!
