"First, the owner, Benny Bennett, came on time to see what needed to be done and give me a quote. I told him that I only wanted my gutters to be cleaned because I needed to have my deck replaced. He gave me a quote for the cleaning, for gutter guards in the back, and to replace the deck. Not only was he reasonable, he had his crew come and had all the work done in under four hours. The crew cleaned up all of the old boards and ran a magnet over the area to make sure no nails or screws were there to ensure my and my dog's safety. The crew were polite and professional and very hard working.. They did a great job and it looks great! I would gladly recommend and intend to use them again on another job."

"After speaking with Pete via phone, I explained what I wanted done and he sent me an estimate via email within an hour.
I decided to have Pete clean my roof and gutters.  He showed up on time on the prearranged date and quickly went to work.   He cleaned the gutters first, taking care to clean up residual debris from my patio.
He then used a chlorine based cleaning solution on my shingles.  When Pete had completed the work, he invited me to take a look at the roof.  There was a distinguishable improvement.  I was quite pleased.

"Pressure washed with water only.  Had plenty of extensions to reach high places like second story windows and gutters.  Did a pretty good job of removing surface dirt, grime, etc., that would come off with pressurized water only.  However, tore through two screens by spraying too close.  Also could not get some areas clean and blamed the paint.  Don't know if that's true but will seek a company that uses a chemical cleaning solution in the future.

"Overall, very well. Prompt, courteous, easy to work with. Their arrival was delayed about 30 minutes, nothing I would have considered an issue, but they sent a text notifying me of the delay well before the scheduled arrival time. One lesson learned however. Sham Shield is a pressure washing company, but pressure washing is not always the best tool. Some of my gutters are an integral part of the pool enclosure with the screen abutting the outside edge of the gutter. There was a lot of roof grit in the gutters. Sham Shield advised this would be a difficulty. The cleaning using a pressure washer blew grit through the screen on to the pool deck, with a considerable amount going into the pool. Sham Shield cleaned the deck, no issue, but there was nothing they could do about the grit in the pool. I don't fault Sham Shield, they did what I hired them to do, and advised me of the potential problem beforehand. I'll definitely use them again for pressure washing, but select someone who uses a different cleaning method for the pool enclosure gutters."
