Estimate from Freestyle was higher than other comps. Sold themselves as "better quality" work than others, but when we looked at some completed jobs were not impressed with quality & hard to judge workmanship because they used subcontractors.

Quality workmanship & supervision by on site supervisor, timely handled each steps of remodel great teamwork between subs. Provided excellent planning & selection advice, price was somewhat higher than other quotes, but quality can't be beat.

Their estimate was the highest when compared to the other estimates that I got. The guy that came out was very knowledgeable and very nice. It was just too much for what we wanted to do. They were nice and very polite. When we had some changes done and wanted them to add they didn’t have any problems in doing so. We had no problems when we asked them to revise and send a new quote, they send it within a day and I never had a long wait.

They really did not give a timeline and were kind of slow overall, but the finished product was good. The work started at the beginning of August and finished around mid September. They battled the weather; when they were there, their punctuality was good. We would use them again in the future if necessary.

We got estimates from several companies that were well-rated on Angies list for a fairly extensive pool remodel and spa/deck addition. Freestyle's estimate was comparable to other estimates (not too much higher/lower). The salesman (Mark) was very responsive and helpful with initial planning of the project. The project came in on estimate with a few additions that were not unreasonable based on some unforeseen additional work that needed to be done. They were very amenable to our ideas on design and changes that needed to be made during construction. They gave honest feedback on ideas without pushing additional or specific products or services. The project took several months and they continued to work diligently during construction. The quality of work, especially rock work that we had done was phenomenal. We had pavers installed by a separate company so I cannot comment on their paver installation but coping work was great. The only negative was that the subcontractor that installed the pool surface got some material on the pavers and coping but Freestyle worked with me to address this issue. Overall, they were very responsive and organized. They had project managers that were available when needed (and that consulted with the owners of the company when necessary) and followed through even after construction was complete on any necessary punch list type issues. I would definitely use them again and was very happy with a relatively large project done quite well.

They have been very responsive and have done everything I have asked. They have done everything they said the would. There a very professional company and easy to deal with. I would use this company again.

They did a great job. It was all contracted together. I think it cost $5800 for the pavers. They completed the work in November. They did the pool for us. They were very good. I like the fact that there was a lot of communication. They stand by their work. They chose the right sub contractors who were attentive to details. After that I chose the sub contractor to do the driveway. I really liked the attention they gave to detail, the quality of the work and the desire to make it right. I have no issues whatsoever. It looks great. People often comment on how nice it looks. Their pricing was competitive too. I will use them again in the future.

The good news: The pool is done and looks great. The bad news: It took over ten months of work, rework, and rework. The good news: They took responsibility The bad news: They kept breaking promises of when it would be done The good news: It came in on budget The bad news: At the early stages they kept trying to increase the budget. Apparently the salesperson promised things he did not put in the quote, and once the office found out, they tried to collect. Since the items in question were not in the quote per se (only generalized statements, not equipment part numbers), they kept telling us we had to pay. Ultimately, they honored the quote. The good news: The workmanship is ultimately good The bad news: A series of stupid mistakes (like someone walked across the PebbleTek and left footprints that weren't seen until the pool was filled. Drain the pool and guess what? We paid for the water twice) that often required rework twice. Also, the best craftsman is interminably slow, like laying only about 7 sheets of tile a day slow. The good news: Good supervision The bad news: Supervisor leaves after 20 minutes in the morning. He has a lot of jobs to supervise. Any questions that come up are resolved by non-English-speaking crews. The good news: It's done The bad news: I'd never use them again. Too much hassle and supervision required.

Estimater was courtious, but when he quoted the estimate. I listened to his spiel and then politely led him out.

Salesperson was very professional and responsive. Received written quote within 2 weeks of first visit. We were under tight timeline, and was told that the entire remodel could be done in 7-14 days. The demolition crew worked very quickly and the entire area was kept very clean. Paver crew did not work as clean as the pool surfacing crew, so ended up with a bit of a mess. 'The office' did not order the pavers on time, so schedule was thrown off. We had to call repeatedly to keep the job moving, and to get an updated schedule. Job ended up taking 5 weeks, and that was with us calling daily for the last week. Ended up with a large pile of disgarded pavers in our front-yard for 3 days. Happy with the quality of the job, but not happy with the professionalism and scheduling issues.

The work was very professional and the pool ended up looking great! Michael G. was very attentive and always available for any questions. My calls were always returned in a timely manner. Everyone worked hard every day and seemed very knowledgeable about what they were doing. The staff is very pleasant. Our pool was completed exactly on the date they promised and left the pool deck very clean. I would definitely use this company again and refer them to others!

They came when they said they would, expressed their opinion, and now I am just waiting in response for a letter.

Jessica is great and any problem with my Freestyle pool is promptly taken care of. My in-floor cleaning system valve ruptured spewing water everywhere. Jessica got a hold of a repairman and schedule an emergency repair that day. It was fixed with in 3 hours from its occurrence. Wow Thanks!

I liked how fast they got the job done. I liked their craftsmanship and quality of their work. Everything they did and the services they provided were great. I would highly recommend this company.

The pool needed refinishing and the pool decking and tile were out-of-date. Freestyle was up against other pool remodeling specialist. Jim Caposey did an excellent job of NOT upselling services, but rather focused on their quality and outstanding customer service. The estimate was fair and Jim allowed us to take out time to make the decision without being pushy, unlike his competition. Freestyle sent the perfect Project Manager, Mike Gann, who kept us informed every step of the way. During the process of emptying the pool, removing the finish, refinishing the pool and installing the pavers the area surrounding our home was always clean and debris free! Every person on Mike's crew was courteous, friendly and professional. Shortly after the pool was finished (a couple of days) Mike came by to "just check in" and see how things were going on a Saturday. That morning our family was planning a sailing outing when Mike came by and the pool pump case had cracked due to age (through NO FAULT of Freestyle). Mike suggested if we were to get the pump while he took lunch, he would be happy to install it, which is exactly what happened. We were able to go sailing and enjoy the day while Mike completed the repairs at no charge, but supplied us with "pure and simple" customer service by exceeding our expectations. We could not be happier with the "New Look" in the pool area and the wonderful job and customer service provided. The staff was helpful in assisting us in choosing the right look for our pool area, keeping us up-to-date for appointments and setting our expectations.

Good overall experience. They were about 12% cheaper than the company I ended up using. I selected another company because their installation time line was 4 week shorter and the other company gave me a performance guarantee.

They are excellent. Absolutely right on time for everything. They are prompt and meticulous. It was a great experience. The tile installer even lined up the tile so that they would blend together in a way that is very appealing. I certainly would highly recommend them to anyone who is doing this type of project.

Job is not done! If you have money to spend and don't want to use your pool for months then go with them.

This was truly one of the easiest home remodeling projects I've ever had to deal with. We called for a meeting and Mike came out to look at the area and help us with the design. We settled on a basic design and then called him a couple times to change things with no problems. Once the work started, we never had a problem with any of the workers or equipment. There were days we didn't even know they were there until we saw something new installed. Any time we had a question we just called Jeremy, our project manager, and he answered it immediately. Everyone in the office was super nice and pleasant at every contact no matter what it was in regards to. They did all the work for us and we only had to be present once from start to finish to let the electricians in the garage. We had some friends get a pool with Freestyle and they are the ones (along with AL) who convinced us to go with them. We weren't disappointed at all and now we just need the weather to warm up some to enjoy the water.

Putting in a pool is a long and tedious process. Freestyle made these weeks go quicker and efficiently. We are extremely happy with our pool.

Great company to deal with. Not the lowest price but had the best presentation and the job went smooth with no hitches.

THE ESTIMATE FOR THE TOTAL RENOVATION OF THE POOL AREA WAS HIGH, BUT PROBABLY REASONABLE FOR A QUALITY JOB BY A QUALITY COMPANY. I'LL PROBABLY SET MY SIGHTS A LITTLE LOWER, BUT FOR THOSE WHO CAN AFFORD FREESTYLE, THIS COMPANY MIGHT BE A GOOD CHOICE.

NOT THE CHEAPEST GUYS ON THE BLOCK, BUT THEY DID VERY HIGH QUALITY WORK. OVERALL EXPERIENCE WAS VERY GOOD. VERY SATISFIED WITH THE FINAL PRODUCT. THEY WERE QUICK TO DRAIN MY POOL, BUT SOMEWHAT SLOW TO GET STARTED ON THE WORK DUE TO THE AVAILABILITY OF THE ''ROCK GUY.'' THE ''ROCK GUY'', BOB, WAS A TRUE ARTIST. IT WAS QUITE FASCINATING TO WATCH HIM WORK. ALSO, MIKE G., WHO SUPERVISED THE RENOVATION WAS A PLEASURE TO WORK WITH. HE IS VERY HONEST, RESPONSIVE AND VERY CONCERNED ABOUT PRODUCING A QUALITY PRODUCT.

THEY ARE A PROFESSIONAL COMPANY WHO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THEIR WORK. THEY MAKE AN EFFORT TO REPAIR THE PROBLEMS THAT OCCUR DURING THE JOB. THE PRICE WAS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE BIDS WE HAD. SOME OF THE WORKERS HAD TO BE REPEATEDLY CALLED TO MEET WITH US OR TO REVIEW A PROBLEM. YOU CAN TRUST THEM TO BE HONEST, WITH THEM YOU WILL AVOID THE HORROR STORIES OF POOL INSTALLATION.
