Very well. They found things that were definitely wrong that an electrician and a plumber that I had inspect did not find. I was surprised that both the plumber and electrician could not tell that the breaker for the hot water heater was the wrong AMP and was buzzing every time the hot water came on. Also, plumber inspected hot water heater, but never told me there were rat droppings in there. The only thing I fault this company for is I mentioned a number of times that my biggest worry was if my floor was level throughout the house. The couldn't/wouldn't respond, never did check it nor did they give me any advice as to whom I should contact to find this out. Rather than this, really enojoyed working with them. Price was well worth the report.

It was the best. The service was top notch. The guy was really skilled at what he does and the customer service part of it was top notch. I've bought about 20 homes and that is by far the best inspector I've had. His name was Brian. It took about 45 minutes-hour. He did not leave any mess or residue of any kind. Knowledge and professionalism made me grade them an A.

Brian arrived early and started his inspection. He was very thorough and explained everything to us at the end. He is professional and very personable. The written report was available to us the next day. This was a pleasant and reassuring experience!

Inspector came about 20 minutes prior to arranged time. He was very courteous and extremely helpful in answering all questions and concerns. He was very thorough with the inspection and whenever he found anything that would cause alarm, he took his time and explained in dept about the problem. Inspection took a little over 2 hours. He spent most of the time checking the crawl space, attics and roof which were our main concerns. Almost everything inside the house was brand new and took less time to properly inspect. If I were to purchase a house again, I would not doubt and choose Young Home Inspections! Reports were very detailed and completed almost immediately. Everything was sent via PDF and very easy to obtain, print or email.

We needed to get a home inspection done very quickly to close on a condo the next week. Christine scheduled an inspection for us the following morning with Brandon that was earlier than their normal time to be in that area. Brandon was very prompt to arrive and was very thorough with the inspection. He tested all appliances including having a cup of water to test the microwave. Brandon was able to answer all of our questions. He gave a verbal summary of the findings to us and our realtor at the end of his inspection, and had a report to us by that afternoon. Our realtor was so impressed with his work that he met with the owner to discuss future business.

The inspector from Young's was here within a few days of my first phone call. He was professional and courteous and on time. He inspected the roof from the top, went into the attic, and then gave us his analysis. Our main roof should be good for another eight years, but he recommended replacing the flat roof in the next couple of years. Later that evening, I received a written report with photos via e-mail. The entire process was professional and accommodating.

They missed obvious water main leak, I had a 1k big in just 5 days after i switched water to my name.

Well. Inspector found several issues we'd missed during our viewings that will need to be addressed. Online report was well done.

Since I live in Virginia, I needed to coordinate the inspections over the phone with the company's owner, Christy Farina. In a word, Christy is outstanding. She gave me advice on what inspections were necessary for the home, provided multiple scheduling options, laid out clear pricing information, and coordinated with my agent to attain access to the property. On the day of the inspections, my wife and her brother were present and the inspector was very thorough and patient with them in explaining every aspect of the home. We had the reports in hand within 24 hours and they were extremely well done - clear and concise, accompanied by excellent photographs of items of interest. Excellent, these people are absolutely fantastic to work with!! I initially called to compare pricing since we had already paid for 2 home inspections on other properties (which unfortunately didn't appraise). While the other inspectors were probably adequate, we sure wish we had used Young Home Inspections on those inspections. Christy (at the office) was upbeat, patient, and extremely helpful, she got our inspection scheduled for the following day and assured us we would have our report within 24 hours. Brandon was exceedingly thorough, very friendly, and tested and pointed out things that never would have occurred to us. They provided a detailed, photograph-documented report which went straight to the builder for corrections. They were worth twice the price.

I needed a fast home inspection done and needed to have it done as quickly as possible. Christy made it happen in two days and not only for her company, but she offered to arrange septic tank and termite inspection company's for me as well. I so appreciated her going above and beyond to help me and in two days I had all the work done I needed for the bank. Excellent! Brian was extremely responsive, thorough, punctual, and quick in returning the report. I called the company in the middle of the week, and the following Monday they completed the inspection and provided me a report that same afternoon. I couldn't be more pleased with their service and the value for what I got.
