I wanted to change out the sliding glass door on what used to be the front our garage to a large window. Erik and his crew removed the existing door and started demo on the outside hardee board siding and the inside drywall. They reframed the wall to support a large 9x5 window. Once the window was installed they added osb and housewrap to the outside and finished re siding the exterior wall. They also replaced the drywall on the interior wall. To finish the job they jackhammered what was left of the concrete ramp coming into what used to be the garage to make it look more like it was just another room in the house. I wanted to save money and do some of the work myself so I did all of the painting and added the window trim. Everything was done as agreed upon in a timely manner.
"We had a few contractors over to give us estimates. It was summer and kind of busy season so they all took a week or more to get back to us. I think EHS were among the fastest, which we appreciated and the least expensive, which we really appreciated. I mean we got one estimate to reface our existing cabinets - 1500. For 2600 or so EHS said they could replace our cabinets with new ones, build a little wall to block the view of our washer / dryer (in our kitchen), and remove some soffits that were wasting space and cramping our kitchen. So we hired them to do that and more. For expanding the entrance way, one contractor wanted 3k. For the same price, EHS expanded the entrance way, and tiled our shower, and put in new counters and sink, and did some touch-up painting, and installed a couple of ceiling fans, and installed new locks. Good quality, good price. Jeff and Wes and the subcontractors I met were always polite and responded to calls or messages in a reasonable amount of time. I would use EHS again. "
"This guy is a perfectionist. Work requested was completed within 8 hrs. The handrail had to be mitered cut, sanded and painted the same color as the other handrail. The new handrail perfectly matches the one that was installed by the builder."

".Provider ran a spinning brush through the whole length of the vent pipe. He found a huge amount of lint at the roof exit.....i'm guessing 18 years worth of lint "

Drain Pipe Installation questions, answered by experts
A professional drain cleaner is a plumber or specialized drain cleaner with the necessary tools to unclog drains and tiles to keep waste water flowing out to the septic tank or city sewer for processing. Keeping wastewater from backing up into your home helps keep you and your family safe from potential contamination and sickness. These pros can help resolve nearly any drain situation in a safe and efficient manner.
In some cases, operating a snake can damage your drain and pipes. This depends on the overall condition of your pipes and how gently you operate the auger. For instance, older galvanized pipes covered in zinc are susceptible to scratches when using a drain snake. Additionally, it’s common for newbies to apply too much force when extending the snake, leading to scratches and related damage. You can also crack the porcelain with an electric auger if you’re snaking a toilet drain. If you’re using a manual snake or auger, the risk is minimal.
You can unclog a double kitchen sink by plunging the side with the garbage disposal. Cover the drain hole on the other side first to avoid creating a mess. Plunge up and down until the water starts to drain. You can also pour in baking soda and vinegar to try and dissolve a clog.
To unclog the drain pipe, remove the machine's drain hose from the pipe or sink drain, being careful to contain any water in it. Next, use a plunger for sink drains or a plumbing snake for a wall drain. Test the repair by pouring a small amount of water into the pipe before trying it with a laundry load.
No, you should avoid using liquid drain cleaners. These chemicals, often packed with sulfuric or hydrochloric acid, can wreak havoc on your pipes, causing erosion and potential leaks. They’re also dangerous to your health. If you’re dealing with a stubborn clog, manual removal or a professional plumber is your best bet. Chemical drain cleaners can often make things worse, especially if the clog stays put and the chemicals linger in your pipes.
