Arrived on time and the work was done within an hour.

The experience was far above expectations and the efficiency that they reflected in getting the job(s) done was refelected in their final price which was understandably based on their posted per hour rate. There is no doubt that they did not waste anytime and more importantly any of my money!

This is our second experience with Elcon. Once again, we were very pleased. The electrician came when they said he would come. The work was done promptly and carefully. Two of the light fixtures moved around were ceiling fans. We were very comfortable with the professionalism of the person who did the work. Another great experience with this company.

I was looking for a company to do a preventative maintenance check on our house's Generac generator. I preferred to pay on a time and materials basis rather than engage in an annual contract. Elcon performed this work for us willingly. (Other companies only offered an annual contract arrangement.) The electrician sent was very helpful and capable. I would definitely recommend this company based on this experience. I plan to keep them in mind for other electrical work too.

Waited all day for call as to when he would be here. Called them at 3pm and they said he could be here by 4pm. On arrival said that the recepticle was wrong size and he'd have to replace the whole box. It sounded like that was going to cost a lot more, so I asked if he could do it any other way.Instead he just cut the ceiling roof into a rectangle around the existing round hole and fitted in another single plug recepticle, which works fine. He didn't ahve the proper size plate to fit over the new recepticle, but went to home supply store and got one. I just have to plaster around the small area to seal the hole myself. As it is, it's now code compliant and the garage door opener was installed and working fine.

First I called a plumber, who after looking at the job said I needed an electrician. Electrician looked at job and said I also needed a plumber. Finally got both at the job at the same time. I had already ordered parts which were available for the first electrician visit along with detailed instructions from the manufacturer for the repairs. When I was returning exttra uninstalled parts to manufacturer, they strongly suggested that all parts be installed, since if some contactors had blown, they all would soon blow. So another visit was necessary from the electrician. I think the extra trip could have been avoided if electrician had called manufacturer as I suggested

They are not the most expensive plumber I have ever had and they did a job that I'm very satisfied with. I would use this company again in the future.

Did a great job. Had to install the fixture about 7 inches higher than the old opening, so he measured and held it up so I could see how it would look first. (The shades could be pointed either up or down so it was important how high the backplate was placed since I wanted them to point down.) He padded my new granite countertop well with a thick drop cloth so nothing would be nicked or scratched. Then he stated I must have a GFI type wall plug since it was near a water source, installed it quickly and without charge. Then installed the towel bar for me as well. Very courteous. Was here 1 1/2 hrs-charge was for 1 hr. I had a 15% discount received in the mail so total charge was $96 from the initial quote of! $114.00 first hour. Price quote same as estimate I got from an another electrician. Used them last year to replace my kitchen light switch & was very happy with the work then also.

I was told I'd have to pay the guy who came to my house $50 before he would enter my house for an estimate. What a farce! I suppose after a few months of this practice, they'll wise up. They may experience a few potential customers who invite them out to the job site and then refuse to pay. I didn't do this but 30 or 40 of those might help this vendor wise up.

THEY ARE A GOOD COMPANY, BUT KEEP AN EYE ON THE CLOCK. THEY CHARGE BY THE HOUR AND THEY CHARGE AN EXTRA HALF HOUR AUTOMATICALLY FOR TRAVEL. THEY DID A GOOD JOB, BUT YOU NEED TO WATCH THEM TO MAKE SURE THEY ARE CHARGING YOU CORRECTLY.

ELCON IS A WONDERFUL COMPANY THAT PROVIDED EXCELLENT SERVICE. THE SERVICE GUY WAS PROFESSIONAL, FRIENDLY AND PROMPT. THE PRICE WAS FAIR, REASONABLE AND LOW. MY AIR CONDITIONER UNIT IS WORKING GREAT.
