These guys saved us from a bad purchase. As well, they immediately were hired when we found a much better place in Victoria Park. They were incredibly knowledgeable and personable and responsive to our needs. Their online reports helped us with our prioritized list of issues we had to negotiate with the seller. It's nice to have good honest people to work with when buying a home in an unfamiliar area.

Everything went great. They arrived early and got to work immediately inspecting the exterior as we waited for access to the property. Very thorough in a reasonable amount of time considering each and every area they covered. Received the report that same day and it was very comprehensive and clear. Highly recommended.

I expected better service from this company after reading reviews, see comments enumerated below. 1) They showed up approx. 1 hour before appointment time, so realtor and buyer had to drop current issues, hurry up lunch time, and make it to location, that was the first red flag (no real interest in having prospective buyer be present during inspection) 2) Three actual inspectors were present, at no point a specific issue was explained really, unless I asked for it. In my case, I had a real interest in knowing the problems, and how they were finding them, NO, that is not the procedure apparently, my conclusion is that the idea is for them to write a report, and point with a finger to the problem thus having the prospective homeowner come up with a best guess, in some cases, I have no idea how to access the area needing repair because frankly they perform all of these without ever showing it to me. I was present in the house, and the best I could do was to call the attention of one of the inspectors when he would pass me by, there was no way for me to chase them all around the house, and know what was happening. Overall, I am very disappointed, I thought for $495.00, they could have spent the time, and show me the issues, at least summarize them for me while in the house. 3) If something were disconnected, they would not bother looking at it or tell me, wait for the report! They do come up with a big list of repairs, and I guess prospective homeowners get a good document for future negotiations, and in my opinion that has spoiled somewhat this industry. 4) Termite company that was subcontracted didn't ever bother to tell me their results in person, actually, I didn't notice when they took off, and I find that unprofessional. 5) One of the three inspectors did the talking, the others could not be more impersonal, and it was like one didn't exist for them.

Ron and his Team where punctual and extremely professional they basically " tore" house apart, just about nothing was left untouched. The builder had a few restriction but after closing Ron will be back to check those. The crew took its time marked any and all issues and explained in detail our suggested next step. Every single item was photographed and documented. We had our inspection report that same day and a few days later the wind medication report as well via e-mail. What outstanding service and what a great crew,we would and will recommend Ron's home inspection to evry single person in need for this service. We have owned a lot of homes all over US,we have never seen such detail and professionalism with any other inspection company. You truly get what you pay for and it will be worth ever single penny,so when you are making one of if not the biggest purchase of your life I suggest you call the BEST!! Ron and his team are VERY thorough and professional. I highly recommend their services, which are invaluable when it comes to purchasing a home and knowing what you are getting into.

This is the second time I've used Ron this year. Not only are they very thorough, but they are knowledgeable and patient. They did a full home inspection on a home we were under contract on. After the inspection, the home required some work for insurance and they were able to supply a wind mit and a 4-point inspection report to us before the repairs were done, and then they very kindly updated the reports after the work was done to be re-submitted for coverage. The time between this inspection and the previous one was a few months, and the time between the wind mit and 4-point reports and the updated ones was also a couple of months, but yet they still remembered who we were, and were very helpful in getting everything situated during a somewhat stressful time. Hopefully we'll be in this house for a while and may not need to use them again, but I will definitely recommend them to others!

Ron and his crew arrived on time and they conducted a full service inspection of the property. They were very professional and courteous as they made their way through multiple units with multiple tenants. The finalized review and report was easy to understand and professionally presented. I had the good fortune to have Ron inspect 3 different condos that I was considering purchasing. His report on the first property spared me the nightmare of investing in a money pit. That was my first time seeing an example of his work and I was greatly impressed. I knew from that moment going forward that he would be the one to call when I needed an inspector. There weren't any major issues of concern regarding the second property. Ron and his team did their usual finely detailed work. I submitted a contract on the property, but was unable to make a deal with the sellers. They were very disappointed with the results of the appraisal. They refused to budge on their (much higher) asking price. In the end, we agreed to disagree and canceled the contract. I just closed on the third property that Ron inspected for me. It is by far the best place I've looked at during my months long search. He told me that this place was worth the wait. If you need an inspector, I highly recommend Ron Walker! I like the fact that his is a family run business. Ron and his team are prompt (make that early!), personal professionals who are dedicated to looking out for the buyer. Their attention to detail is top notch! Don't be put off by what might seem like a premium price to pay for their services. They are worth every penny. You won't be disappointed.

Ron, his son, and his team did a wonderful job at inspecting a property we are considering purchasing. First off, the other companies i called told me I had to get a 4 point and wind mitigation upfront. Ron told me they would take the notes they needed and should we decide to purchase the home then I can add that on. They showed up 5 minutes earlier than expected for the inspection. They did a very thorough and detailed inspection and showed us what was going on during our inspection. This is our first home purchase so we are pretty new at everything and Ron and his team did a wonderful job at answering all of our hundreds of questions. They did such a great job our realtor was so impressed that he will be recommending Ron to his other buyers who need inspections. Thank you all and we will definitely be recommending to anyone whose in need of home inspections!

Outstanding. They are thorough, professional, and timely. I had used them twice previously and was very happy with the quality of their work. The reports were provided either the same day or, at latest, the next. The quality of their report was excellent and the estimates provided for the repairs that were recommended were surprisingly accurate.

The inspection team was on time for the appointment and was even able to accommodate us during our shortened inspection period! They compiled a very detailed list of items which needed repair or replacement and generated a lengthy report which included estimated costs of repair and many photographs. The inspectors even suggested a secondary inspection (by a plumber) upon locating potential damage to the plumbing - based on the roof inspection. Each team member was professional and courteous - and was willing to point out issues as they were discovered and provide genuine feedback with regard to cost of repair and whether certain items should be cause for concern or not. We received the report the same evening as the inspection and the electronic link could be shared with our realtor and the sellers. Owner Ron offered me a few times for a home inspection that we needed within the same week. He was 15 minutes early, and brought a team of 3 additional men for a home inspection that impressed even our realtor. He warned me up front that if I was searching for "the cheapest", it would not be him. Believing that a home inspection is NOT the time to go looking for the cheapest, we stayed with Ron. Needless to say, we passed on that contract due to the thoroughness of his report- sighting far more repairs than we were willing to contend with. The countless photos taken during the inspection spoke volumes in his report (which we received the next morning). Needless to say, we are still house hunting and will be calling Ron and his team again SOOOON. Thank-you Ron!! Your Angie's reviews were spot on. You have a client for life.

Ron and his team did an excellent job on our home inspections (we used them once, terminated the contract after reviewing Ron's report, and then hired Ron again to inspect a second home we found). From my first contact with Ron, he was always very responsive and professional. His team arrived early (on both inspection dates) and were extremely thorough. The whole team was happy to answer all of my questions and took their time explaining their findings in the house. I received the inspection reports detailing every single issue with the house the same day as the inspection. It is rare these days to find service as professional as Ron provides. I highly recommend Ron and would certainly use his services again in the future.

They were in and out, 5 guys and a separate termite inspector. The inspection was very detailed with a lot of photos and descriptions which was overly complicated and no one stayed around to explain any of the notes or findings and there were errors on the inspection based on a second inspection that was done. There was no follow up by them they only sent over the documents and then charged for a wind mitigation report and the first one the send over had an error, it said the home had asphalt shingles when in fact it it tile roofing, I had to call and get it all resubmitted to the insurance company and there was no apology or followup. When I had a 4 point inspection done by another company recommended by my insurance company it was done fast and correctly.

On time, efficient, thorough, verbal summary before leaving and I had the written report the same day.

Called and Ron was very polite on the phone and sent me an email of a sample report. Set up appointment for a few days later. They were 30 minutes early. Were thorough, professional, polite, and friendly. Emailed me the report the next day. Would definitely recommend them!!

We are currently in the process of buying a new home and our realtor suggested Ron Walker Inspections. They promptly sent us a confirmation e-mail for the inspection day with a detailed explanation of what they do, as well as price and so on. When we got to the home on the day of, the two gentlemen (Uncle & Nephew, both related to Ron Walker) were already there and had begun inspecting the outside of the property. We have purchased other homes in the past and have not had the experience we had with this family business. They went above and beyond our expectations, we asked lots of questions about repairs and maintenance and we felt they answered everything and more, there was nothing left for us to wonder about. They were prompt, efficient and very personable. The inspection report was in my inbox the same day. I would recommend them to anyone and will be using them myself in the future.
