Ron and his guys came out earlier than expected, but were able to start the outside inspection before the rain hit. They were very professional, extremely thorough and knowledgeable. They may cost a little more than others, but you get what you pay for. Post inspection we were provided with a detailed report, the 4 point inspection and wind mitigation inspection. The inspection, paperwork and processing was done in a matter of 24-48 hours. We couldn't be more impressed.

I had Ron Walker Inspections conduct an inspection on the condo we just purchased. I was very satisfied by the job Ron's team did. Ron Walker Inspections are not the cheapest company out there but trust me they do a thorough job. Some inspectors will do a quick walkthrough but Ron and his team made sure they checked every outlet, and also had a tester to make sure it was wired properly. They check everything including the hot water temperature. Not only that when the inspection was done they gave an extremely detailed inspection report. The report included all the errors and violation that were found on the property along with pictures, and then they also stated the estimated cost to repair or fix the error. I was extremely satisfied by the job they did and will be using them on the next property we purchase.

On behalf of my sister-in-law Siva. I would recommend Ron Walker Inspections to anyone buying a home in South Florida. Bryan and John came out to inspect the house in detail and they were super friendly and thorough and very happy to answer all of my questions in layman's terms. They weren't irritated at all to have me following them around like a little nagging kid. They are definitely more expensive than other inspection companies, but if there's any part of the house buying process that I'd invest extra money in, it's the inspection process. You'll notice that a lot of reviews (check Yelp too) were great because these guys found things that ultimately convinced buyers to back out of the deal. That's a good thing! You want to know now whether you should back out of the deal or not, not find out when it's too late. If this house falls through for some other reason, I'll definitely be going back to Ron Walker Inspections.

Ron's crew came out and did the inspection in less than an hour. Later than same day i got a 28 page report with unbelievable detail. The guys pointed out several things they found to be disturbing. They definitely did a great job and I strongly recommend them. In fact... the Real Estate Agent for the Seller said she would recommend them based on their efficiency and nice personalities.

Inspection went very well. It was nice to be able to call and speak directly to Ron Walker. He was extremely pleasant and professional. Scheduling was easy and he assisted in coordinating with my realtor. There was clear and timely communication. His team arrived to perform the inspection on time and were very thorough. Engaged my mother who was there instead of me and answered her questions. I received my report on the same day and it was thorough and easy to read. I love how they included pictures. I would definitely hire the Walker team again.

Company was very responsive and clear about pricing. They came out on time and did a very thorough job of inspecting the house. They explained issues that they found and were very clear about how to fix the problems. They were a pleasure to deal with and we felt that they identified important issues. The report provided was very thorough and clear and they were available for follow-up questions and referrals. Overall, we were very pleased with their services.

Ron and his team run a great company. They are responsive, informative, and professional. Ron assisted us throughout the home buying process. After serving in the military as an officer for 14 years, and now owning my own company, I was very impressed with the level of professionalism his team at which his team performed. I am a little conflicted in writing this review because there are some very good aspects to my experience with Ron Walker as well as some mediocre aspects. First the good: Ron and his staff were very professional and responsive from the time I scheduled the inspection through the inspection itself. I even corresponded with him via email as I had some questions which he responded to. When I inquired about checking on any open or expired permits with the City, he found contacts for me and provided info on what I needed to do to follow-up. Everything up to this point was fantastic. Now for the slightly disappointing aspects: Ron warned in advance that his firm was more expensive than others, but I had no problem with that assuming the work product would reflect that additional cost. However, I received the report mere hours after the physical inspection which demonstrated that even though there were numerous pictures taken of various deficiencies, the language in the report itself was mostly boilerplate. And speaking of the physical inspection, even though I was onsite with the inspection team for the entire 2-3 hours, these deficiencies weren't discussed or shown to me at the time. It would have been of great benefit for the team members to point out issues to me so that I could ask follow-up questions rather than just take photos and email them to me that evening. And although Ron was great at responding to emails before the inspection, he completely ignored them afterwards when they were even more important. One example: Ron said that providing a 4-point inspection report would cost an additional $95 even though he and his team had gathered all the requisite information during their visit. One aspect of the 4-pt. inspection pertained to knob-and-tube wiring that had been removed previously. Ron required that an electrician be hired to certify that all such wiring had been removed, not just the abandoned knobs that his team could see from the attic. When I wrote on two separate occasions asking how I would get this certification to him so that he could issue a "clean" 4-pt. inspection report, my emails were completely ignored. I eventually gave up and hired a different inspection company to conduct the 4-point inspection. I don't want to sound too negative, because overall I would say that Mr. Walker provided an adequate product, I just believe that for the price charged, I did not receive value for the additional expense.

What an awesome inspection! Ron was early for the appointment and did an AMAZING job! It was so thorough that he included items not usually shown in an inspection. I was able to make a very informed decision as to whether or not I was willing to buy the house (I did). I now have a working document to help me address what needs to done with my house and helped me prioritize the projects! I would definitely use his services again.

We had a property we were looking to buy, of course you need a home inspection to verify everything is okay with the big purchase we were about to make. So I went onto AngieList and started looking around. The first thing that attracted me to Ron Walker Inspections was the many review and the second thing was everyone?s review stating that he takes a team of people to the property for the inspection. I had a prior property that we used an inspector for and he came out by himself and the process took so many days to get the report back. When I contact Ron Walker Inspections they were extremely prompt in their scheduling and outlined all the different inspections they do and the cost was right in line. I scheduled them for our home inspection and they arrived early with his team of people. Within a few hours after doing the inspection we had a report that had showed us things that I would say others would not find and informed us that these findings would affect us in various ways. We ended up pulling out of the deal thankfully due to Ron Walker finding a piping issue with the house that would hinder us from getting home owners insurance. We did end up finding a different house that we liked a lot more, and of course we contacted Ron Walker. The next day he arrived with his team (early, which is a big plus) and started inspecting the house and came up with findings that helped us negotiate more on the purchase price. I have been recommending out Ron Walker to all of my friends and so has our realtor to all of her clients. If you want someone to get in all the nooks and crannies of your big purchase to ensure the safety and value of your house, I would without the doubt recommend their services.

Mr. Walker and his team, from the moment I made contact with them, moved quickly and efficiently -- the only delay being that his e-mail (sent within 15 minutes of my request for information on the webpage) happened to drop into my spam folder and, consequently, I missed it. Because of not seeing their reply, I pestered them several times to which they responded each time (each time going into my spam folder) -- but each response was courteous and professional. They gave me a variety of dates and were not only on time, but early. Mr. Walker encourages clients to be present for the inspection, so when I arrived they were nearly finished. However, Mr. Walker took the time to walk me through the home showing things he had issues with (and which would be in his report) explaining the implications of each. His report, which was e-mailed to me before EOB on the day of the inspection, was easy to read and interpret and the repairs I asked the seller to fix were easy to explain using the inspection report. Similarly, when I requested the Windstorm and 4 Point Inspection reports, those arrived by EOB the day I requested them and both were exactly what my insurance agent had requested.. Ron Walker Property Inspections is the best inspector I have dealt with, due to his courtesy, professionalism, patience, and his team. Not only would I choose him again, but I would not even consider going with someone else. I have never felt strongly enough about service to write a review on Angie's list -- which proves how valuable I consider his work. He may not be the cheapest out there (by his own admission) -- but you get what you pay for. If you want top quality service, it is worth the price.

The inspection was performed by Ron's son, Bryan, and another two associates. Bryan is very professional and a pleasure to work with. The inspection was thorough and revealed items that most inspectors would not have noticed. Anytime I had to communicate with Ron, he was available (even when he was performing an inspection) and ready to answer my questions. He was courteous and helpful in every respect. A pleasure to work with Ron and his team!

Ron came on time with two other workers to inspect the home. They did not rushed to inspect it. Their professionalism was evident from beginning to end. The report was as thorough as the inspection. He found the house needed more repairs than it looked. He was available to anwser all my questions honestly and patiently. In the end I did not buy the house. It would have been a big mistake and if it wasn't for Ron and iits crew I would have regret it.

Excellent! I arrived early and they were already on site. The termite inspection had already taken place and the inspection team had already started their preliminary walk through. They were so thorough and really took the time to include us in their findings and explain what they discovered. We were extremely impressed. We picked Ron Walker because of their Angie's List score, they did not disappoint. Truly above and beyond!

I chose Ron Walker Home Inspection due to high volume of positive feedback on the Angie's List. Just 10 minutes after the inspection started, I knew I made the right choice. Bryan and Steph were extremely detailed in the inspection and they are very knowledgeable on every question I asked. Originally I thought they would finish in just one hour with a 1169-sq ft condo unit (like the inspector I hired for my very first purchase), but the inspection was completed in two hours at the end. I was not there, but I had two family members arrive to meet Ron and his team. The inspection was ultra thorough and the report was extremely detailed with pictures, of each room, underneath sinks, and areas of concern. He noted if any defect was related to any safety or code standard. He went up on the roof of this 18 unit building to identify and inspect the A/C compressor for the condo. What was really helpful is that he gave an estimated price it would cost for each repair with a suggestion of what type of tradesmen should fix it. That was very helpful to me because I was able to negotiate with the seller to reimburse a portion of the cost to fix the areas of concern. It also turned out that my brother who was there to oversee the inspection had worked with Ron for many years when he was at the Miami Dade Police Department. Ron has a great CV of work experience that has brought him to a place to be called an expert in his field of home inspection and a very trusted person and contractor. You will feel very comfortable working with him.

Ron and his crew conducted a Wind Mitigation Inspection of my home. They were punctual. They took photos of all openings, i.e., windows and doors, and also photos of the necessary documentation. The next day, I received a comprehensive report, and in addition, a file with all the photos. My questions were answered quickly, and my requests were complied with immediately. I highly recommend this company. It was a pleasure doing business with them.
