Took down payment of $3500 on Thursday,8/28/25 to pour slab 42x16 and block in door (using the materials already had on site,because of having had back/neck surgery unable to do myself, added $500 to do). Came that day at 11:15 am , tore up yard , poor framed out, left at 3:20pm., Basically 4 Hrs which 40 min. spent fixing backhoe.. never showed up again for over a week. Finally responded to text/calls saying truck broke down and would be back by the weekend to finish job. NO SHOW FOR ANOTHER WEEK Texted/Called response 4 days later saying he was getting the needed fill dirt for the job. Shows up 9:45pm on Thursday, September 18, 2025 with about 3 yards of Fill Dirt saying it was 6 yards and would be back in the morning to finish prep work for pour. NO SHOW AGAIN. Now over 4 weeks into what should have been a 4 day job. Responds with text his backhoe broke. Had me call/schedule/pay for concrete needed. No show 3 days. Had to cancel pour. Fired. Filing in court for my deposit

(NAME REMOVED) with Countdown County (out of Titusville, Fl), is not a professional contractor. I hired him to resurface my residential driveway, listed on Angi's List. He not only did not agree to times, showed up late many times, no communication unless I continued to call or text him. The first time out the driveway was completely a mess and they did concrete work in the rain! He demanded payment in cash and did not provide a receipt. I called him 3 days later and he said my drive way needed curing time. Gave it a week and the driveway was not resurfaced properly and all the cracks and stains came through. Took me 4 days to reach him for a reply. He sent back out, a 2 man team to resurface the driveway. Luckily it was not raining, however they covered my driveway in two different thicknesses and the concrete dried in two different colors and the edges were not clean. I highly DO NOT recommend this contractor, unprofessional, would not provide a receipt (that should have been a red flag) and does NOT stand by his company. DO NOT USE!

Steven and his crew didn?t disappoint, they got the job done quickly even though it was 100 degrees outside. All interaction was professional and friendly and we are very happy with the quality and appearance of our driveway. Will continue to recommend countdown county creative for all concrete needs.

He poured my slab. (I am a contractor) I needed exact outside measurements for a metal building and the slab is to small. The top(floor)was supposed to be a slick finish. It is far from that . The front of the building bay door areas x3 was never finished. I have been trying for 3 weeks now to have him fix the worst finish work iv ever seen . And he just keeps telling me we will make it right but nothing. He stated he can not afford to fix it . Well just f me right . I will absolutely not let this matter rest until I get the repairs on my new concrete done . My money back or have him pay to have it repaired witch will be around 12 to 14000 . Buyer beware. And he is refusing to come back .keeps telling me he is but he is on to other work. He is leaving me no choice but to get the courts involved. Iv come up with solutions and nothing from him

Steven and crew did an amazing job helped me with everything I needed and got the job done quick will definitely be using them again.
