"The job went smoothly in every respect and we were very happy with the results.  Peter and Leza did the work themselves, showed up on time, did a high quality job as promised, cleaned up after each operation, and were a pleasure to work with.  They even painted the ceiling, which was not part of the contract, at no extra cost.   A special challenge of this job was that I had to arrange for the work by email and phone, and they made that easy!   We will definitely use Galli for any future painting work, and will recommend them to others.

"Excellent. I love my bathroom. Very polite, helpful, professional and punctual. I was not sure what i wanted and he took the time to give me his professional opinion and lots of ideas and thoughts. Never did anything wo me knowing or my approval. Always kept me in the loop. Cleaned up after themselves and worked hard to finish in a timely matter. Very fair prices, high quality work. Definitely recommend!!!"

Wallpaper Removal questions, answered by experts

You’ll need to wash the walls to remove wallpaper adhesive residue after removal as part of the prep process for painting or rehanging wallpaper. Old adhesive can cause texture issues and prevent paint or wallpaper from adhering properly to the wall’s surface.

Rubbing alcohol may help dissolve stubborn wallpaper adhesive that remains after removal, but be sure to apply it carefully to prevent damaging your walls. Apply a small amount using a cotton swab or pad, then gently scrape or wipe the adhesive away.

Yes, most professionals patch and smooth walls after removal to prepare for new finishes.

You may end up with extra wallpaper once your project is finished. Hang on to that wallpaper, as you may need to use it to patch up areas that get damaged later on. If you have a lot of excess wallpaper, try getting creative with it. You can use it to line the inside of a cabinet or drawers, for example.

Wallpaper in bathrooms can last anywhere from one to 10 years, depending on what type was used, how well it was installed, and the measures in place to reduce moisture and humidity levels. Opting for a more durable variety and taking all the necessary protective measures will get you closer to that longer lifespan.
