Dominic arrived at the scheduled time. He reviewed with us what he was going to do. His inspection was thorough and detailed. He called on us several times to review items that he found. The detailed report he provided is a guide we are following to have the items corrected. He found no major problems. The minor problems he found are now being repaired.

Dominic provided a 4pt home inspection for a home built in 1959. Dominic was extremely thorough and even stopped to talk to me about specific concerns during the inspection. He spent 4 hours at our home and his attention to detail saved my family time and money by identifying issues that needed to be corrected by the seller. As a result of the home buying process, we asked Dominic to perform a re-inspection to ensure that the seller corrected the items of concern and Dominic was able to complete the second inspection within a few days, giving us time to be comfortable with the home before closing. I highly recommend Dominic.

The Home Inspection went great. There was a light rain on the day of the Inspection but did not hinder Dominic's ability to get the Inspection done. We also paid for the Termite Inspection and a gentleman named Caesar performed that aspect of the Inspection. Caesar was very diligent during his inspection and performed the task flawlessly. Dominic spent about 2 to 2 and a half hours inspecting the property and talking me through all my concerns I had noticed with the property. I consider myself knowledgeable in the construction field, with close to 20 years experience in transportation construction, and I was left deeply impressed with his knowledge of every aspect of the inspection. Dominic's knowledge of the entire process of home construction left me feeling extremely comfortable with trusting him to find anything that would be a concern. Dominic inspected the outside of the house, the roof, the garage, the attic via the garage ceiling, every bathroom and bedroom, the sprinkler system, every window and entrance, and areas of easy access under the carpet. Dominic took moisture readings on every window to insure that the windows were performing their jobs appropriately and on any location that had plumbing. Dominic discovered a leak in our kitchen sink, bathroom toilet, and a water valve leak in the garage. Dominic spent the time to go over every single aspect of what he found and explained to us the proper repairs needed and their severity. Luckily for us the issues were all fairly common and inexpensive and hopefully addressed throughout the rest of the process with the seller. You will not go wrong having Dominic inspect your home and you will be grateful that you did! A++!

Dominic was very thorough and took his time to make sure everything was inspected correctly as well as shown and explained to use. We are first time home buyers so it was very helpful to have this information and for him to answer other related questions we had. Ultimately there were damages that were identified that allowed us to renegotiate the price. He also arranged for a termite inspector to come out to the house. This person had an emergency come up the day of the inspection, but Dominic coordinated with us and the termite guy to arrange another time to come out. The termite person he partners with was also very helpful and it was greatly appreciated that he was able to reschedule for the very next day.

On time, thorough, professional, personal. Service took about an hour. I received a PDF file same day. Every homeowner should have this done at some point. I have been in my home 11 years and was looking to switch insurance providers. Report pointed out several issues I need to deal with, one of them ASAP. Very detailed overview of many aspects of the home construction that exceeded our expectations. Dominic was courteous, punctual, and has a deep knowledge base regarding home construction and inspection. We highly recommend him.

He is professional, polite, punctual and thorough. He invited me to join him through the inspection and explained everything to me.He also explained how everything worked and why he is rating things the way he did. He constantly asked me if I had questions and gave all the answers I needed in a simple and clear way. He has all the tools required to help him finish his work in the best way possible. An infrared scanner showed us all the pipes, structure and the inside of the walls. The house is 2 story and the roof was high so he used a drone to fly it over to assess the roof and take pictures. Overall experience was superb. He exceeded my expectations and I would definitely recommend him.

It was learned that the pipes used, in the house, 25 years ago, were likely defective, and in need of being replaced. The piping is known to degrade, leak, and cause structural damage, if not caught. Additionally, the 40-gallon water heater, of the same age, was also at the end of its useful life. Water damage found above the front door area had rotted and become the home to countless hundreds of ants nesting up there. The roof currently has a DirecTV dish, and two former hook-ups bolted, and those need removing, as they can cause leaks. Some evidence of animals chewing on the structure. Suggested thus that the trees be trimmed back, additionally, because the low-hanging, drooping foliage is causing eventual damage to the roof, as no air circulation is occurring. Gutters featured around the front half of the home, but, the entire rear portion lacks gutters, and the run-off is damaging the foundation siding, which is evidenced by the fact that the lower three tiers have been all replaced fairly recently. Oven is not secured to the wall to prevent it from tipping forward and the dishwasher door hinge simply falls when open. The water, when turned on hot, does not appear to be attaining the proper highest heat. Ants were found to be nesting in the garage, hidden from plain sight by loose tiles. Some bathroom tile damage (bulging) and the fairly new shower sliding doors, well, they simply do not slide, in the one bathroom (they were installed improperly). Water sprinklers functioning, but need servicing, as the control panel's wires are all exposed. The patio door is not attached and needs to be repaired. The patio screen needs replacing or to be patched and re-stapled in countless locations. Bearings in the patio sliding glass door are worn and tough to open. One bedroom window is impossible to open and in need of repair. The experience itself was wonderful. The provider was concise and clear in his overview of all faults, going room-by-room and outside, to clearly indicate and explain just what was wrong. His advice was deeply appreciated and well understood. Some inspectors will use meaningless jargon that is over the heads of their clients, but he made all statements clear to us, which was excellent as we are first-time home buyers, and utterly clueless.

I contacted Dominic on Monday based on other reviews and he was able to provide me an appointment for Wednesday. His pricing was great and provided me the thermal scan in the inspection. I also requested he bring a termite (WDI) inspector for $99 to ensure all was intact. I arrived to the home 5 min. late and Dominic and the termite inspector were already there starting the work. Dominic was very professional and walked me through each and every item on the home. He was very helpful with not only telling me the issue but showing me how he found it and why it needed replacing. The inspection was complete within 2 hours as the home was already vacant. That same evening Dominic had sent me a full report with detailed pictures. I have purchased a home in the past and Dominic's inspection report is the best I have seen. I am very pleased with his services and will recommend to others and use again in the future. Thank you!

I can not express how happy my girlfriend and I are with Home Pride Inspection Services. Dominic was able to save us with a last minute inspection request. Our Realtor had failed to provide enough time for inspection on a house we were looking to purchase however Dominic was able to fit us in his schedule with a few days notice. Dominic inspected our house from top to bottom. Had no problem crawling under our house to really inspect the foundation of our house built in 1952. Not only did he do a thorough inspection, he took the time to explain to us some things to be aware of when caring for a house built that old. With his help we were able to negotiate additional deductions for closing because of his findings in his report. Which brings up another point, he was even able to help us get our report in less than 24 hours because we had a deadline with the buyer. We can thank Home Pride enough for working with us and giving us peace of mind in knowing what we were getting into with this old home.

Dominic was excellent. He was highly knowledgeable and professional. I appreciated his patience in taking the time to walk me through the entire house inside and out explaining the good and bad. Obviously, any inspector will point out the items that need to be repaired, but Dominic took the extra time to give me suggestions on how to reduce repair costs and maintain the house properly. Dominic arrived on time and performed a thorough inspection of the home. He pointed out deficiencies and clearly explained the issues. We received a detailed report, with pictures, the same evening as the inspection. We feel completely prepared going forward with our purchase. It was really great! The entire inspection lasted approx. two hours, and I was permitted to tag along with Dominic while he did the review. He showed me exactly what he found in each room, including the attic, and pointed out what were "cosmetic" findings versus actual defects that would need to be repaired. He showed me how to replace the A/C filter, and to treat the condensation drain line regularly. He told me the proper air filter size, and gave suggestions on where I could find replacements, since the filters were a very odd size. He also explained the features of the electrical sub-panel, and what to look for if there ever was a power outage in the house. The final report (and lots of color pictures) came to my e-mail inbox that same evening. I would definitely use Dominic D'Agostino again, and I highly recommend his service to others! I can tell when someone is the real deal and when someone is throwing bull and I'm happy to say Dominic is the real deal. We liked Dominic. He was very professional and explained everything he was going to do. As he was doing the inspection he would show us what he was doing with different tools he was using. It was very interesting and a learning experience. He took his time and inspected every nook and cranny of the entire house. When he was done he sat down with us and went over everything he found. He even had detailed notes and pictures of the problems he did find!! What I really liked about him was that he took the time to explain everything he found and what it would take to fix it. He even talked to the sellers and explained to them what he found.
