It went very well! I have hired this company three times in the past few years. Dominic is the best. He gave us detailed information and very good suggestion about the house after the inspection. And he is very friendly and professional. I'll definitely hire him again in the future.

Horrible! Do not use him, he would not file with his insurer upon request. He had an out of state attorney send me a bogus get lost letter.

Dominic was professional, punctual and friendly. We walked through the home prior to his full inspection to get the lay of the land. He then performed a very thorough inspection, finding some not-so-obvious things that even the construction manager had missed. He made us feel confident in our purchase. His inspection report was provided before the end of the day and was thorough but concise and easy to understand. We've hired many home inspectors and Dominic was the best.

Dominic did a home inspection for my daughter who is a first time home buyer. He did a very thorough job and went out of his way explaining both the good and the bad issues with the home allowing her to make an informed decision on whether to continue the buying process or not. He arrived on time and provided all documents when promised as we were on a tight schedule for getting the inspections done. I would highly recommend Dominic and would use his services in the future!

Dominic was prompt, courteous, and very thorough. He inspected every cranny of the house carefully and pointed out all major and minor issues. We liked his report and the fact we could access it online. He took lots and lots of pictures of minor and major defects, clearly marking each one. He also included lots of tip on maintenance and info about features on the house. He was so good, both real estate agents asked for his card. If/when we buy another house, we will be giving him a call!

This is second time that Dominic has inspected my 1922 rental home. His report is very thorough, descriptive and helpful. Each time has been emotional for me. The scope of the work identified on both occasions has surprised me. Dominic is both professional and compassionate. He has (on both occasions) helped me put the scope of repairs in perspective. He is available for follow-up questions and generally tries to assist in any way requested. Without Dominic, I'm certain that I'd be unaware of needed repairs until they became urgent and visible. With his reporting, I am able to fix issues before they become emergencies or catastrophes. As a remote landlord (and even if I were local), I sleep a lot easier with Dominic's periodic evaluation of my property. It's always better to know than not, especially with an older home.

Dominic arrived perfectly on time. He met myself, my father and our real estate agent, and had all of our names down pat immediately after introduction. He explained everything he found to me in verbiage that was conducive to my situation as a first-time home-buyer, without ever making me feel like I was in over my head. I was certainly nervous that I would find a laundry list of items that needed to be taken care of, but Dominic gave me the lowdown on each issue separately, which made the process much less overwhelming than it could have been. His explanations and thorough work ethic made me feel extremely at ease moving forward with the property, and I would gladly hire Dominic again for ANY inspection needs. His service and personality are a winning combination that would be very tough to beat. I also have to mention- he includes the option to book Termite/WDO inspection at the same time, and the inspector who came out did a great job as well (have to leave a review for him too!) but it made such a huge difference that Dominic set that up...saving all of us time by ensuring both appointments were at the same time. Awesome experience, I can not recommend Home Pride Inspection Services enough!

We contracted Dominic to come to our home for a Seller’s Inspection, not expecting to find major issues, but to ensure peace of mind as we prepare to list our property. I would recommend him to anybody - buyer, seller, or merely someone who is interested in the current state of the major systems of their home. What an excellent experience! We have paid for 2 other inspections this year, as we attempted to purchase a new home in another state. That inspector’s thoroughness, report structure and ease-of-use were nowhere near the quality of Home Pride’s. We had no feeling that Dominic was shading his efforts because we were the client on this inspection - he went through each home system in full depth. We were particularly interested in the current state of our roof, the 2 HVAC systems, and (since this is Florida) any evidence of water intrusion. He used both a moisture meter and an IR camera (which showed several areas of missing insulation) to give us a complete picture of the current state of our home. The outcome of this inspection gave us a few areas to tweak, a clear picture of the remaining life of our roof, and a reinforcement of our belief that one HVAC was nearing the end of its useful life. We can now repair/update the items we choose, and be prepared with real information once we do list our home. What an advantage! The other great thing about Dominic is the the structure of his report. It is laid out in an easy-to-read fashion, each system is called out separately, and he includes a Repair Request section, which facilitates creating a document one would send to a Seller when using this during a home purchase. As we had experience with that other inspector, and our Realtor spending 4 hours trying to translate his opaque report into such a document, Dominic is worth his weight in gold. Making this report was trivial, and gave you a spot to request a repair, a replacement, or a monetary discount for each issue. We are extremely pleased that we had Dominic and Home Pride out to inspect our home.

We have used Dominic in the past for our home inspection and he was excellent. We just hired him back to come give us a second look on specific repairs we plan to make. My wife and I wanted Dominic to give us his opinion on the exterior of the house. He did not rush and fully explained things. Very prompt and professional. Best home inspector I have ever had. I recommend him with out reservation. Will probably hire him again for another consultation on something in the future.

Dominic arrived early and did a very thorough job. Based on his report and photos, we were able to ask the seller to fix a minor problem, which he agreed to do. Dominic is very friendly and he welcomes questions. He has been in touch in just the few days since the inspection with an offer to answer any questions now or when we move in to the home. Also, he was very easy to work with; the seller needed to change our inspection date twice and Dominic was very accommodating with the rescheduling. I highly recommend Dominic if you want a thorough inspection to put your mind at ease and catch any problems before purchasing a home, or even before listing your home for sale if you want to be proactive.

We used Dominic D'Agostino for our home inspection based on the recommendation of our real estate agent. I never would have thought to have a home inspection completed for a new construction house, but every penny of the $499 cost was worth it. He found cosmetic items that should be corrected that I would have never seen, as well as more serious issues that I would have assumed would not be present in a brand new home. Dominic was already present at the home when we arrived shortly before our scheduled appointment time. We presented himself very professionally, and was pleasant to speak with. Having myself (the home buyer), my partner, my father, and my realtor all present, he was very cordial to everyone during the inspection. Dominic was extremely thorough in the inspection, marking items and taking photos. What I liked most, however, is that he always directly his communication towards me as the home buyer (and is customer), not the other men that were present. He was engaging and explained not only things of concern, but also just some helpful FYI's about the house and systems. He spent almost 3 hours inspecting the home. After wrapping up close to 1pm, we asked when we expected to receive the report. He replied that it would be the same day, after 5pm or 6pm. The report was delivered before 5pm. I would not hesitate to recommend Dominic to anyone looking for a home inspection in the Greater Orlando area!

Great price and was very honest. I asked if I should get his premium service, and he recommended against it due to age of the house - classy move to not upsell an unnecessary product. His report was exactly what I was looking for complete with clear photos and descriptions of what needs repair. The website even had a tool to select a report of items that needed fixing to send to the seller. Finally, a couple of days before the inspection, I called him to ask about termite inspections and he arranged a great termite inspector to be present during our planned inspection window. Having both done at the same time was very helpful. One final plus was that I showed up a few minutes early and he was already there!

Dominic was great! On time, professional, responsive and flexible when I had to change my appointment at the last minute. He was very friendly. I read a book while he did his inspection. He kept me informed throughout his inspection. He was great when I asked him questions. I would definitely recommend him and use him again, if I ever needed it.

Dominic did a great job. Worked for a full two hours on a 20 year old home in a 55+ community. At the completion, he asked if I, the buyer, wanted to meet privately with him or if he should share defects with myself and the seller. This is a FSBO. He very tactfully told us the pros and cons he found. Great service and will use again!

Dominic performed a thorough inspection on our new construction home. He was punctual, extremely observant, knowledgeable and professional. At first we were hesitant in investing the cost on an inspector for a newly built home, however the things that the inspector found (although small, thank goodness) I wouldn't think twice about investing in his services.
