LOWE'S

It was good and I have not had any issues. They came out, measured and talked to me about that when they sent somebody out. They did a good job. I called and said I wanted to get some windows replaced so they sent somebody out to talk to me about the windows and measure. They came back and put the windows in. They were quick about it. I don't t remember being upset about the price.

It was very nice. My husband used to work for them.

They offered installation services and we just followed on course with them to have there services rendered. Keeping in mind we couldn't use the hundred dollars it was still cheaper. They did the plumbing installation for us. They were good. The only thing that took a long time was to do the installation. No issues. Great quality work. I'm happy. Took them a little while to get back with us.

The quality of the installation of the doors is terrible! They didn't completely do the job either. The doors have gaps all around them and the screen doors are terrible! The rear screen doors won't shut completely and squeek extremely loud! He used drywall screws to finish hanging the doors, not the screws that came with the doors. He then put caulk on them to hide it. The doors are not shimmed or caulked correctly. You can look outside from the inside! I paid for an extra security latch for the front door that was not installed. The latch is still in the package! I also ordered paint for the doors to match the house that I never received. I had to leave the room for a few minutes and when I came back the sub-contractor was gone and my roommate stated that the sub-contractor told him he had to leave to get to a birthday party. We are missing money, keys, and the contract that I had sat down on the coffee table. I am worried, as the sub-contractor lives relatively close to me. The manager of the door department at Lowe's, Keith, was a waste of my time. He refused to help me and when I requested to have my order information sent back out to me he said he would send it right out. I never received that information from him. The installer only does work when his day job allows him the time to do the extra work. I had left the contract sitting on the table and when the installer left, the contract was mysteriously missing. I was then notified by my credit card carrier that the contract was signed off as job was completed to satisfaction. I never signed anything!!! Keith was supposed to contact me on 1/17 to tell me when they would be coming out to finish the job. Meanwhile, they were closing out the problem with my credit card carrier. My credit card carrier is extremely upset, as Keith sent them another form stating the job was completed to my satisfaction, when in fact it is not and I did not sign anything once again! This is becoming a real issue and I just want my doors fixed and installed correctly. The two sets of keys that are missing are for the front and back doors. Lowe's now needs to provide me with new locks on the doors, as their sub-contractor can now get into my home whenever he wants. I now have to push the kitchen table in front of the back door and a big chair in front of the front door to keep anyone from coming in. I don't feel safe in my own home and can not believe Lowe's would hire someone like that and then back that extremely low quality of work!

WHY do they put the military people through hassle for a lousy 15% which usually amounts to $5 to $15? The cashier said people were cheating. Yea like the Army has shown up for their discount. Why don’t they do the military a favor and just DROP IT!

He was awful, and as a result, I had to go to another plumbing company. He caused an awful lot of problems and I had to call another company to come in and take over. I was charged an astronomical price. The company wouldn't have had to do all that work if the plumber sent by Lowe's knew what he was doing. He installed the faucet but he couldn't get to the root of the problem because something was dripping down the cellar. It was the faucet itself that was defective, and either he didn't know that or try to fix it. He knew that there was a problem. He opened the ceiling in the cellar because there was some problem there but he put the wrong pipe in. He did not finish the job and was supposed to come back the next day. I waited for him the next day and he finally called at 2.30 and said that he couldn't come out. He said that he would come out the next day and I told him not to bother. That was when I called this other company. They had to remove that pipe and put in another pipe and then they had to cut a big wall in my closet. They billed me $300 for putting in the new piping. The job finally ended up costing me $800 because of all the damage he did. I am so disgusted that I would like to take it to court.

This company doesn't do any installations even though they lead you to believe they do. I purchased washer dryer and refrig. The only appliance they hooked up was washer. I was forced to hire a plumber to finish installation. They don't have a list or recommend installers. After they get your money you are on your own.

THE INSTALLER WAS VERY POLITE AND RETURNED PHONE CALLS. WE DECIDED TO HAVE RUNNERS PUT ON THE STAIRS INSTEAD OF TOTAL CARPET AND THEY WILL BE COMING BACK TO DO THAT.
