"We had Mr David Saunders clean the carpeting in my mother’s home. Mom is 102 years old and lives at home. Mr Saunders was not only a gentleman, he spoke up so my mother could hear him. He treated her with utmost respect as he deep cleaned her carpeting. We are delighted with the result. The carpets are clean and sanitized and the house smells fresh. Mr Saunders went above and beyond. He is a trustworthy and hard working man with top of the line cleaning machine. Ihighly recommend this service."

"Extremely professional and knowledgeable service. Colby and Eli came out for an estimate on Tuesday and came back Friday for service. We walked through all vents to be cleaned and discussed the antimicrobial treatment. We had just bought the house and the ducts were never cleaned. They individually cleaned 24 vents and treated the system in just a little over 3 hours. They talked us through the whole process and showed plenty of before and after pictures. Would highly recommend!"

"I had asked for mineral wool insulation used in my basement, not realizing that the fibers from cutting the mineral wool are irritating to the lungs and skin - my mistake. Hired Ercolano Cleaning and Restoration to vacuum up the fibers and dust in the basement and on the walls - the team arrived on time and did a wonderful job! They totally vacuumed every surface, and removed the dust and gravel that had accumulated on the basement floor for years. It is beautiful now and itch free. They worked diligently - VERY HAPPY with their work. I would recommend Ercolano Cleaning and Restoration to everyone. Very happy with the result."

Cleaning questions, answered by experts

The average house cleaner cost is around $180, which should cover about four hours of work. However, each project is different and costs can range from $100 to $1,000, depending on the house size and the cleaning needed. Other cost factors can include your location and what level of cleaning you want. Standard or basic cleaning may include vacuuming, dusting, and disinfecting the kitchen and bathrooms. Deep cleaning costs about twice as much and often includes cleaning behind and underneath furniture, washing windows, and polishing hard-to-clean surfaces. Emergency cleaning, extreme cleaning, and holidays also impact pricing. Move-in and move-out cleaning typically cost more, too, because of the extensive, whole-house cleaning involved.

Yes, you can use baking soda to clean your water dispenser. Mix one tablespoon of baking soda with one quart of warm water, then use a sponge or cloth to wipe the solution on the inside and outside of the dispenser. For tougher stains and grime, you can also make a lightly abrasive paste of one part baking soda and one part water to gently scrub tougher areas. Then rinse the dispenser with water.

To clean a subfloor after removing carpet, start by removing any leftover debris, such as stuck-on underlay, nails, or staples. Next, thoroughly vacuum the subfloor to eliminate dust, dirt, and loose particles. If adhesive residue remains, you can use an adhesive remover, a scraper, or a sander to gently lift it off. Finally, clean the surface by mopping or wiping it down with a damp rag and allow it to dry completely. This preparation is essential for ensuring new flooring adheres properly and to prevent bumps or wrinkles from forming.

It depends on the size of the home and the extent of cleaning, but generally, a housekeeper can clean three to five rooms per day. If deep cleaning is needed, they may focus on fewer rooms. It’s always a good idea to discuss your expectations and the time required with your cleaner upfront.

Yes. Every toaster is bound to accumulate a build-up of crumbs and food particles. If left unattended, these can turn into a fire hazard.
