"Outstanding service and workmanship. These weren't the run of the mill draperies. Very intricate and complicated. Rocko did an excellent job cleaning and reassembling. I would highly recommend him to everyone."

"Pick up was within 1 hr of scheduled time , drop off was several days later than estimated. This is a very specialized service so I do not have a benchmark for the price, So I don't know if it was a good value, but the carpets look great."

"They did a good job. They spent about 4 hours cleaning 2 BR/ 2BA (plus living room and kitchen). They organized the space as well, which was nice. I only have three complaints: 1. They did not take out the trash. Instead, they generated bags full of trash, which they had me take to the chute down the hall. 2. They did not clean the kitchen cabinets well. There are still oil and cooking spots on them from my partner cooking earlier that day. 3. They are very expensive. I have hired better cleaners for 200 (not including tip)."

"I have used Shane to perform a few jobs around my home this past year and would highly recommend him. The first time Shane came to our home he fixed a ceiling vent in one of our bathrooms. Shane researched the project, finished the job in a timely manner, cleaned up his mess and our vent turned out great. He has also fixed some of our plumbing and electrical issues along with a broken doorbell. Shane is hardworking, polite, trustworthy and smart. I would definitely recommend Shane to do work around your home. Wendy Wilson"

Drapery Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Most cleaning services take 2-5 days, allowing for thorough dry cleaning, steaming, or hand washing as needed.

Yes, using appropriate techniques and solutions for material-specific care.

You should avoid using a pressure washer on any surface or item that could be damaged by the high-pressure spray, as some materials are too delicate to withstand the force.

Key items and surfaces to avoid include:

  • Electrical Components: Never pressure wash electrical systems, as water can cause short-circuits and create a safety hazard. This includes utility meters, breaker boxes, electrical outlets, generators, and HVAC or air conditioner units.

  • Delicate and Fragile Materials: Fragile items can crack, shatter, or be stripped by the pressure. Avoid pressure washing windows, glass, light fixtures, shingled roofs (especially asphalt), and stucco.

  • Painted, Stained, or Sealed Surfaces: Unless your goal is to strip the finish, do not pressure wash painted surfaces, stained wood (like decks), or anything with a protective seal that could be stripped away. Be especially cautious with older surfaces that may contain lead paint.

  • Soft Woods and Certain Decking: Delicate surfaces like softwood, composite decking, and antique or wooden patio furniture can be etched or damaged. If you must wash wood, use a lower-powered pressure washer with a wide-angle nozzle to prevent damage.

  • Living Things: Never use a pressure washer on people, pets, or plants. The force can cause serious injury and will destroy landscaping.

There are several ways to store clothes properly and keep them smelling good. You can keep clothing in a climate-controlled closet for best results, but if this isn’t in your budget, there are many DIY solutions. From using air freshener sprays to keeping a box of baking soda in the closet, you can eliminate unwanted odors. Always store clean, dry clothes in the closet to minimize odors.

The recommended frequency for professionally cleaning drapes varies. As a general guideline, aim for every four to five years. However, you should consider more frequent cleanings in specific circumstances. For homes with pets, heavy soiling, or residents with severe allergies, cleaning every two to three years—or even two to four times per year—is beneficial. Light-colored drapes may need cleaning every one to two years to maintain their appearance. Some also follow a biannual schedule, cleaning in the spring to remove winter dust and in the fall to remove summer pollen. In between professional services, lightly vacuum your drapes with a special attachment to remove surface debris, but avoid abrasive brushes on delicate fabrics like silk and linen.
