"I've got a 112 year old hose that is pretty solid, but it had a cracked floor joist and part of the flooring wasn't properly supported. I hired Kristian and his team to install a couple of lally columns to support a carrying beam and sister a couple of floor joists. Many contractors wouldn't even return my call because I wasn't looking to complete a huge remodel job, but Kristian came over, gave me a fair verbal estimate on the spot, and worked with me on timing to complete the project. Not only that, but the solution wasn't overly complicated. The job was straightforward, completed exactly as described in the time described, and there was no scope creep. "I have cabinet space under my kitchen sink that holds my trash and recycling containers, along with some cleaning products. The bottom of the pullout cabinet broke, so I hired Matthew Rose Carpentry to rebuild the cabinet portion. He not only rebuilt it, he added two wooden partitions in back of my trash and recycling containers to better hold up my cleaning products, which used to tip over at times when I opened the cabinet. The cabinet now does a 'soft close,' which I never had before. Great job! He also replaced the door threshold to the main entrance of my home. Very nice work. And he's very pleasant and easy to work with. You'll be pleased, both by his demeanor and the quality of his work."
