A employee owned company that came together to offer a honest and transparent process that is tailor fit to your project. We can provide an in depth view from start to finish on project large and small. We go the distance to provide cost saving measures so we can stay under budget and on time.

"We paid them $9356.26 as 60% down to complete a sliding glass door installation and patio enclosure. After 2 months of being given the run around. We have two projects started and neither completed. They provided us with maybe 12 hours worth of work. They are no longer showing up to work or returning our phone calls. We were told by the company that they were bankrupt and used our money for another job. They said we no longer have your money. They still have their website up and have their phones listed as Risen Contractor Group. Do not hire!"

"Terrible service overall, which could have lead to a DEADLY accident. My fireplace was broken. I wasn't sure what was wrong with it. Nathan came over, about an hour late, and replaced some items and charged $125 more than what was excepted. But, he did not check his work to make sure it was safe, which is very negligent for someone working with a gas fireplace. When I got come from work the next day, my house smelled of rotten eggs and I immediately called the fire department. He left a gas leak. Gas was flowing out of my fireplace, unknowingly, for over 12+ hours. The firemen used their device, and detected it instantly. I contacted Nathan immediately and notified him I turned off the gas running to the fireplace. It was kind of alarming how unconcerned he was... never heard back from him to come fix his accident. Finally, weeks later, we got something on his very busy schedule. He came, used his testing device, and claimed no gas was coming out. My husband called me after he left and I was furious, knowing he was lying. We bought our own tester after this happened, my husband tested it where the fireman said the gas was pouring out, and it beeped. Nathan left us with a gas leak AGAIN. He has been avoiding us since and we hired an actual professional to fix our fireplace. I'm not sure what kind of degree or certificate one might need in order to work on fireplaces, but Nathan should be banned from working with gas. This could have been way worse and my family is lucky it wasn't. I bet he wouldn't have left Peyton Mannings house full of gas (Nathan will get that). Bottom line: Don't hire this dude."

Chimney Sweep questions, answered by experts

It is not advisable to DIY a roof cleaning job. Cleaning your roof yourself could lead to hazardous falls, scrapes, and even burns, making this a dangerous project. Additionally, using the wrong cleaning solution or cleaning method on your roof could risk damaging it. While some markets offer a DIY roof cleaning kit, these products often speed up the deterioration of your roof.

To ensure that you and your roof are protected, it’s best to leave roof cleaning to a professional with the right chemicals, tools, and equipment to complete the job safely.

Roof cleaning isn’t a necessity, but it can drastically improve your home’s curb appeal and even prolong the life of your roof, so it’s often a great investment. It’s especially a good idea if shaded parts of your roof experience algae or moss growth, which can damage the shingles and hold water against them, increasing the risk of a roof leak.

Roof cleaning can damage shingles if it’s done incorrectly—like with a high-power power washer—but it likely won’t damage your roof if you pay to have an expert do the work. A professional roof cleaner will use a gentle cleaning solution and a cleaning method that matches your roof material to ensure the process doesn’t damage the roof. Some homeowners worry that roof cleaning will shorten the life of their roof by removing shingle particles or protective coatings, but it often extends roof life by removing plants that cause damage and improves your home’s curb appeal simultaneously.

Inspect for cracks, clean debris regularly, and replace damaged tiles promptly to maintain performance.

Removing snow from your roof can help prevent ice dams, but the best thing to do is address insulation issues in your attic. If you do decide to remove the snow manually, you should always use a roof rake rather than a shovel. You shouldn’t climb your snowy roof in any circumstance, and roof rake allows you to remove the snow from the ground or a ladder. For the best results, remove snow as soon as possible after it falls.
