Being a Former Chicago Bear and a family continually involved in football, you could ask who has more experience on turf? "The project started well, but on the final day, the contractors unexpectedly claimed they made a mistake and demanded an additional $8000, threatening legal action if not paid. I verified Colorado law, which states they had six months to place a lien on our property, requiring notification within three days of doing so, and by registered mail after the lien was placed. We took no action, avoiding reviews or contact. They have since blocked us from their website and emails. Ultimately, they never placed a lien, and the six-month period has passed. Now that everything is resolved, I want to leave a review. While I am satisfied with the project's outcome, I am unhappy with their conduct, including the legal threats and the last-minute demand for more money. His wife, not him, conducted the final walkthrough and provided the warranty and a statement confirming full payment. He even verbally admitted to putting our project on the "back burner" when I questioned the delay."

"Shawn was at my home to install two doors. Everything went fine so I asked for a bid on replacing the underneath of my patio cover from vinyl to osb soffit material. He showed up late both days, raised the bid $375 right after he arrived, telling me he measured wrong. (First clue, measured wrong? Is that my fault) He then added for painting which we had already discussed. He demoed the vinyl, leaving a strip around the edge. I asked what he was doing and he said he was putting the board in the vinyl strip. Would you not ask the homeowner first. If I’m eliminating vinyl, would I want the board placed in the old vinyl strip? I have two small dogs. I asked them to keep the nails picked up and MAKE SURE TO LATCH THE GATE! Thank God I shut the doggie door!! I went outside and they were nailing away and the gate was wide open. He ran out of spackle, used some I had and got mad when I told him I could not leave to go get some. I had another guy in the house bidding a project. I asked him why he wasn’t prepared with supplies. He loaded up his stuff and said “I can’t work for you!” He left my job unfinished. I paid him. Thank God my dogs didn’t get out!! I read a review about his stone work. Perhaps he should stick to that!"
