I found them on Angie's List. He was very kind and came out to give me a good idea of what is going on with my trees and what they need. I have not actually hired him yet but I am pretty sure I am going to use him in the future. He took the time to answer my questions which did not translate to him making any more money but did have to do with helping my trees. His quoted price seemed reasonable to me and his responsiveness was good; he came right out and I did not have to wait for the appointment. He was honest with me about how long it will take to get out here to do the work because now is their busy season.

I purchased a "Big Deal" from DLC Arbor Services last September, specifically because I wanted the neighbors Apple Tree pruned this Spring. The limbs on our side of the fence were blocking the sunlight to our Lilac bushes, and I wanted a professional to do it right. My husband had surgery in March of this year and I lost track of time. By the time I emailed Jason the Coupon had already expired. I asked if we could just get the service that would be covered by the actual cash value? Jason responded that he would honor the full Value of the Big Deal even though the coupon had "technically" expired. Jason was a joy to work with. He came by on his own time just to check out the trees and what he would be able to do for us. He was prompt, efficient and cleaned up all debris. We will definitely use DLC Arbor Services again and give recommendations to our neighbors.

Jason was responsive in getting back to me and scheduled a price estimate in a timely manner (once I gave him the right address). The time between the estimate and the work was reasonable, however he did suggest he might be able to squeeze me in one night and then didn't call to let me know he wouldn't be able to make it (which was annoying because I'd cancelled my evening plans). He rescheduled for the next day and was prompt, professional and thorough. Excellent work and very fast. I had used someone else previously so Jason was correcting their mistakes - definitely wish I had used him first.

I had an Angie's List Big Deal for $200 worth of tree trimming for $99.00. I wanted to have a tree in my back yard trimmed that had some branches hanging over a power line as they get heavy and sometimes break when we have an early snow as we did this past fall. They came out to give an estimate and told me that they could trim those branches but that I also had a problem with my neighbor's tree which had brances spilling over onto my roof. They said that was a big problem and recommended I trim that tree as well. They trimmed both trees for the $99 and left no branches or debris behind. I was very satisfied and glad that they pointed out the problem with my neighbor's tree. I would use them again.

WOW!!!!!...From the "get-go"...DLC was TERRIFIC!....From the estimate to the work performed to the clean-up!..DLC was competitive with their pricing, and the quality of their customer service and the actual work performed was SUPERIOR!...I would most definitely recommend them to others and will be using them in the future. I took advantage of an Angie's Big Deal and DLC preformed wonderfully. They showed up on time for the estimate and made sure the execution date was convenient for me.

The DLC arborist crew, Ken and Josh, arrived within the week, and had the tree trimmed and cleaned up in just a couple hours. Ken was amazing, I've never seen anyone scamper around in a tree as he did, always carefully fastening his safety rope. He cut up the thick wood for firewood, and Josh stacked it neatly under our porch out of the snow. They were all very professional.

When I received this deal a few weeks ago, I decided to check it out. I read all the reviews and was very impressed with what I read so I bought the deal ($99 for $200 worth of work). A few weeks later I called and spoke to Jason (owner) and we made arrangements that he would come by our house and check out the tree we wanted trimmed. I told him we might not be home when he came and he promised to leave the estimate on the door. A few days later when we got home he was just finishing the report and we were able to discuss things with him. He was very nice and professional and explained what he would do. He showed us some insect damage on a few of our trees and told us how we could easily fix it.The following week, despite the fact that it was lightly snowing, the workers showed up on time and did a fabulous job trimming 3 trees and cutting back about 6 or 7 large ornamental grasses. Guess what? They cleaned up after themselves!!!Our experience with DLC Arbor Services is what EVERY experience with a service provider should be. If you need this kind of work done, don't hesitate in calling this company.

I contacted dlc Arbor Services after seeing a coupon for Great Deals on Angie's List. Jason came out on a Friday to give me an estimate to remove a 50 year-old lilac bush and an approximately 25 year-old elm tree that was diseased and dyeing anyway. I also had them prune my young Catalpa Tree. The tree trimmers came the following Wednesday right on time, 8a.m., and got right to work. They were completly finished in 2 1/2 hours, including clean-up. They even cleaned up the sawdust that blew over the fence in the neighbor's yard. Everyone knew what he was doing and all were polite and professional. The cost was a little more than anticipated but well worth it. I would certainly hire dlc Arbor Services again.

We got a coupon from Angie's List. I felt everything went well. It seemed like it took a while between the time they came out and looked at the trees and the time when they actually came out to do the work; but other than that, everything went fine.

They were prompt, came out and did an estimate, and did the work the same day. It was all good.

The estimator was called out and arrived exactly within the time frame that was given for him to be at my home. He was very professional and offered meaningful suggestions as to what needed to be done. The DLC office called me to get the OK to proceed with the job and I was unavailable to answer the phone. So I returned the phone call and left a message that they could proceed with the job as quoted. I mailed a signed work order to their offices. I did not hear from them for about a month. Then the crew chief that was to perform the job called and scheduled a time for the job. The crew showed up on the day promised in a timely manner, and set to work immediately. They were communicative, responsive and totally professional in their work. They had all the proper equipment do do the job efficiently and professionally and did a wonderful job on the trees that needed attention. And they did a superb job of cleaning up after the trimming and tree removal were complete.

Jason from DLC was professional, efficient and timely. he came just before we had another big snow storm. His crew cleaned up the mess of extraneous branches in addition to the tree they took down. I was more than satisfied with the quality of service they provided especially for the price. I will certainly call them again should I need more help with my trees.

This job was handled well and very quickly. I bought an Angie's list coupon last fall: $200 worth of work for $99 (total spent was for the coupon plus work over $200). When the wind blew a neighbor's Aspen tree down onto my fence (thank goodness that it didn't take the fence down), I decided it was time to use the coupon. I called Jason early Monday morning & he came out to my house that morning. The estimate he gave me separated out the cost of removing the neighbor's tree from the work done on my trees, as I had requested - this let me discuss the cost of this part of the work with my neighbor. Jason told me that his team was booked for a few weeks out, but that he would try to get them out soon beacuse of the tree on the fence. He also told me the types of trees that would be good replacements. When I got home from work on Wednesday of the same week (just 2 days after the estimate), there was a message on my answering machine from Jason that his team could come out that afternoon. I checked the yard, and the trees had already been removed! When I looked where they had been, all debris had been cleaned up. The only evidence of the removed trees was the stumps level with the ground. It looks so much better, not having dead trees in the yard. Can't wait until Srping when I can plant new trees there. I called Jason, and paid the balance with a credit card in the call. Great work and great experience!

There was an arborist and they did an absolutely great job. It was pretty tricky to trim the tree because it is enclosed and I have a shed and my house about 4-5 feet from the base. They had to be very careful and not drop large limbs on my roof and shed. They cleaned up beautifully and they did a beautiful job. I am very pleased. The cost of the job was about $1200 but he gave me a 10% discount because I am on Angie’s List so it ended up being $1125 and it was a huge job. They did a great job and the only thing they wanted was to get the electric company to come out because they were some feeders going out and hitting the line. He called them several times so that they could come and do the job and then he could clean up but they never showed up. In the future I would see if I could find someone cheaper.

I have used them before. They do an excellent job in every way. Their price is very fair.

We had a few scheduling problems. When they did get there, they did a really good job. I would recommend them.

They were very prompt. I contacted them after purchasing an Angie's big deal. They came out sooner then I had expected to take a look at the work I wanted done. I had no idea what it would cost to cut down my dead aspen tree and trim the dead limbs on my other Aspen trees. He told me there was more work than the one coupon ($99) would cover, but for an additional $80 they could complete the job. They were very prompt on the day they come out. The pulled their big truck into my drive way, cut down and mulched the tree in no time at all. I expected this to be a whole day ordeal, but they were not there very long at all. They did a great job, and did not leave a mess. I was very impressed. I had been told that Aspens have a fairly short live span, and my trees are about twice the typical age that Aspen's last and are slowly on their way out. They gave me some recommendations on other trees to plant in their place when the Aspen's are removed. I will gladly hire them to remove the Aspens and plant something new in their place.

They were great! I think they did a fantastic job all the way around, and I would certainly hire them again.

This company was very professional, and I was really pleased with them. I've had a chance to look over their work, and everything seemed to be in order.

I purchased an Angies list discount and called DLC. They were prompt in return calls to schedule the bid/work. They did great work at the quoted price, The work had to be delayed due to weather considerations but I was proactively kept informed by them all along the way.

The two tree trimmers that showed up were curtious and professional. They did an excellant job trimming the trees-very large branches. They did not damage anything and their cleanup was perfect! My only concern was that initially DLC was so busy they set up a date for the work to be done and had to call and reschedule the work another week out. I was worried the weather would keep pushing the job back. After all was said and done, DLC did a great job and I was happy with the work performed.

We were not here to observe work, but found it properly completed on return home.

Initially Jason and I had a little trouble connecting. Then a snow storm post-poned the work. However, Jason stayed on top of it and brought out 2 other guys with him and got the work done quickly. I would use DLC Arbor Services again because: 1) good price, 2) Jason was willing to trim the Russian Olive when x3 other wanted to cut it down, 3) Polite, professional service. Next time, I would respond more quickly to the Angie's List e-mails. Too many sent too quickly. Appears that Angie's List doesn't understand that once a homeowner begins the process of looking for service providers, trolling for info and bids, finding the bid, having folks come out to look at the project, bid the project, getting scheduled and getting the work done, that this could take weeks or months. The e-mail notices asking "How did the project go" come within a day or two or starting the process, annoying and appearing to not understand how this process works.
