Overall, the job got done in a very professional manner. The time from when I called to make a final appointment and the time it got done was about 6 weeks.

It took a while for DLC Arbor Services to schedule me in but they did let me know they were booked heavily (resulting from the Angie's List deal) and to call back in 3 weeks. I called back in 3 weeks and they scheduled my tree service for the next week. DLC came in and trimmed the tree and cleaned all debris from my yard. The tree looks great and probably the first time it was really trimmed properly.

The DLC Arbor Services Consultant was very professional, friendly, and helpful. He also pointed out several "DIY" options I could do for other landscaping around our house. He took his time and explained all of the services that they would provide. The men that came to do the tree trimming were also very nice and professional. The trees looked great, and they cleaned up all debris from the trimming, including cutting up one tree for firewood. Great service.

Very professional. Quote was accurate and fair. They did not try tgo pressure us to buy more expensive services, but rather gave us some "do-it-yourself" ideas to save money. the work s was done very well and they cleaned up everything when they were done.

DLC came out with their crew, trimmed a very large old tree that had broken branches lodged within the tree. They did an excellent job with the trim and cleaned up so well after that no one would have known they had been there except for the fact that the tree trim was complete.

I was contacted soon after making the online purchase. I got an estimate within a week. We delayed the actual trimming of the tree until after it finished flowering. Once a date was set the service was provided on the scheduled date. The tree looks good after the trim. They did a good job of cleaning up. My only previous experience with commercial tree service was the removal of an old American Elm 30 years ago. I did not "shop around" before I contacted DLC so I cannot comment on the dollar value but I am very satisfied with the service I received for the price I paid.

The experience was excellent overall. Jason always answered the phone personally, and we worked out a schedule. He showed up right on time, and did a beautiful job. He was also reasonably-priced. When I need to, I will call them back for repeat service!

The job I paid for was a success and I was pleased with the guys and the job, like I said , my only complaint would be in the customer service area.

The owner Jacob met me at my father's house and gave me an estimate for the work that needed to be performed. He was very professional and answered all of my questions When the scheduled day of service came, the crew called and asked if it would be okay if they came early, I agreed. The crew arrived and went over the estimate and walked the yard with me to ensure that we agreed on the work to be performed and to make sure I didn't have any questions. They performed the work quickly and cleaned up after themselves. They asked me to review the work to make sure that it was done to my satisfaction My father let me know that there were four small saplings in the backyard that he also wanted removed. I spoke to the crew and they looked at them and agreed to cut them as well. They let me know that it would be best to use some "stump kill" on the cut saplings to kill the roots and make sure they did not come back. They let me know where to get the stump kill, how to apply and the number of times I should use it. He then went to his truck to check and see if he had any, and came back with some of the solution. He applied it to the saplings for us. All of this at no cost. I was impressed with the profesionalizm and the level of customer service this company provided was refreshing. I have called Jacob and secheduld another consultation with them to replace the trees that they removed from the front yard. I highly recommend this company to anyone in need of tree services.

I never saw them. I'm wondering if Angie's list couldn't screen better so that a provider doesn't take on too many referrals that they can't service.

It was difficult to pin them down as to a specific day, then all of a sudden it was "done".

Great, originally met with us and inspected our sick tree at no cost. Spent a good 45 minutes explaining what was happening and why. Very professional the entire time.

The process went very well. A crew of two men showed up at the appointed time. They toured the yard with me so that they understood exactly what was to be done. Then they got to work. They removed the dead and unwanted trees, ground out the stumps, re-leveled the soils that had been disturbed then chippped all the cuttings they generated as well as a huge pile of trimmings that we had previously generated. The guys were cheerful and friendly, worked diligently, and were careful not not damage anything, including the immediately adjacent house. They then hauled away all the debris. I purchased a coupon on AngiesList that provided $500 worth of services for $250, otherwise my cost would have been higher.

I was looking for a company to do a fair amount of tree clean-up on my property. A large silver maple and medium sized elm tree needed trimming. Additionally, there was a dying apple tree that needed to be removed and a couple of clusters of elms that had been allowed to grow into the power lines by the prior owner. I also needed the work done fairly quickly (due to the city). I emailed several companies to obtain quotes. DLC responded within 24 hrs. Jason, the owner, then came out a few days later to do an in-person quote after taking a look at what I wanted done. He was professional and seemed very knowledgeable. He was up-front about how much trimming the elm would need due to squirrel damage and didn't make a big deal about the power-lines, which I had read some companies did. Based on his price, which I thought was fair for the amount of work needed, and the review on Angie's List I hired DLC. They came out about 6 weeks later to do the work. The crew showed up a few minutes early and worked hard the entire day (and this was in one of those 100 degree days back in early summer). The job ended up taking longer than anticipated and they came back the next day with a third crew member to take care of the elm. However, despite the 1.5 days of work, they stuck to the estimate and the crew lead even offered up that I might be eligible for a further Angie's List discount (turned out that had expired). The crew was very professional and cleaned up the yard as if they had never been there before they left. My only complaint - and it's a minor one - is that DLC could have been more communicative about when the work was to be done in the beginning. I was told they were a month out and it ended up being more like 6 weeks, which was fine, except that the city wanted things taken care of faster. The week they came out, I did get a phone call that Fri or Sat telling me which day of the following week to expect them, which I appreciated. Just would have been good to have been able to tell the city a more definitive date in the interim.

They did a wonderful job cleaning up the trees, runners, shrubs, etc in my yard. They were also very helpful in teaching me how to maintain it. Friendly, professional, and actually cared about the way the finished product looked. I will be calling them again!

I originally stated that I would not hire this company again, but that was only because the cost of arbor services is a lot more than I ever would have guessed. They were very professional, and did exactly what they said they would do (with a minimum of fuss), so - overall - I was pleased with the experience. But I certainly WOULD check around for better pricing if I need further tree trimming/removal. (This was my first experience.)
