Over all it was a good experience. I had to call to remind them to come back and apply the DRF & merit application. After triming the tree on the South side of our house they left some small branches hanging in the tree which should have been pulled out during their visit. Other than that they did a good job. DLC Landscape is suppose to come back during the winter to trim another tree. Haven't heard back from them on when that will be.

Very friendly and prompt. The trees were trimmed away from the house and thinned out. They talked to me about how to care for the health of the trees if I wanted to do it myself or they said they could do it. Overall a good experience.

Everything went well and the tree seems much better and the tenants seem pleased.

Jason came out to do an estimate about 6 weeks ago; yesterday Ken and his assistant came out to remove the dead branches from 3 medium sized trees. The branches/limbs were chipped and chips were left here (at my request), The property was cleaned up following the operation. These people were great to work with, the job was done well, and efficiently. I would be happy to use their services again.

Went well. Only issue I had was the time that elapsed before the work was done.

I had DLC trim trees at two rental properties. DLC had to go back to one property to correctly do job. emails and phone calls were not answered promptly. I had to email to request an invoice, did not get one. Finally in Nov DLC called about payment, took two tries to get invoice properly written (for tax purposes)

I think that the boss overestimated what the actual workers had to do. The job was harder than expected so they did not work basically what they could not do with the equipment they had. It was okay. They did some stuff out of the trees and I felt kind of sad because they did not know what they were getting into but my son had a really good experience.

Jason scheduled an estimate and arrived on time. The work was performed within two hours and a follow up was completed four days later.

When I first signed up in October I was contacted by Jason shortly thereafter and told me he would not get to my house until November due to all the work from Angie's list.November was okay with me. I did not hear again from him so I called around the 15th of Nov. to find out when he would trim my tree. He returned my call and apologized, he had misplaced my paperwork and agreed to my request that they come on the 24th. They did, and they did a great job.

He does nice work but seems to have too much of it to give timy service.

Because we got our Groupon in the middle of the summer, the estimator suggested that we wait until the weather cooled and the trees and shrubs had completed their growth cycle. That amounted to a several month wait. This caused no problem for us, and re established the date to perform the service. We had no problem when we later suggested that the work could be done.

Jason arrived promptly at he scheduled time. As I showed him around the yard, he looked at each tree and explained what trimming should be done as well as why and how it would be done. He gave me a written estimate and said that he would schedule the work for later in the fall when the trees would be dormant. I called him about a month later and he told me it was still too warm and that the work should wait a little longer.

Jason responded to my purchase very quickly, but it took two weeks for the actual service. When they finally showed, they only trimmed two of the three bushes. After explaining to Jason, he remedied the situation within one week.

Jason, the company rep, came to my home and provided an estimate for the work that could be covered by the $99 Angie's List coupon, and we discussed what additional work was needed in the yard. He summarized the overall cost and was quite helpful in general. Seemed very knowledgeable. That took place in mid summer. Tree trimming and removal was scheduled for fall, which is considered a better time for such work. Scheduling proved problematic, apparently because of the company's high volume of work. In fact, scheduling and communication were the only problems. The work was done in late October, after a couple of false scheduling starts, and the two assigned workmen did a good job. They removed debris when they left and caused little disturbance. They worked quickly. As requested, I gave a check to one of the workmen. I had trouble getting a receipt afterward, even after sending Jason a message about the issue. In fact, I received an invoice asking for payment - even though I'd already paid. It took another call to get things straightened out, but, again, the work itself was fine.

Jason from DTC contacted me within 24 hours to make appointment. He came to site to review the job within a week. Jason did say that the angies list coupon plus other jobs set mine back a bit. I replied that was ok with me. It took about a month to get to my job but it was done well. I first rceived a scheduling call. A few days later Jason called again to see if I did not mind changing days? Fine by me. The crew arrived earlier then expected on chop up day. They did a great job, quickly and were on their way. i am very satisfied with their work!

One time, on budget and exceptionally professional.

It was good. They were knowledgeable and on time. They called me if there were delays of any kind. After the original bid, I decided to do a couple other things, and they did that pretty reasonably.

I really liked the fact that the gentleman who gave us the estimate was a professional arborist. The trimming job was excellent--they pruned the tree so that branches broken away from the trunk in a storm were less obvious. The final shape was neat, compact, and just what I wanted. They were prompt and finished in a timely manner. It was so easy to communicate to them exactly what I wanted; plus they had excellent suggestions. I would use them again.

Called DLC and they responded promptly to my call. Informed them of the certificate I purchased through Angie's list. Within the next few days they were on site to evaluate the situation in a professional and friendly manner. He informed me as to what needed to be done. I also mentioned, since their estimate was below the coupon price, if they would include trimming a tree in the back yard. No problem. They returned within a few days and removed the stump in the front yard and cleaned up the area. They did forget the tree trimming in the back yard. Within two weeks they returned and completed the job. He did apologize for the delay and informed me there was a mis-communications between his employees. He did follow-up to see that we were satisfied.

I phoned DLC, talked to the owner and described the work that was needed. He said he would come out and look, estimate the cost and call me back within the next couple of days. He looked, called me back gave me a quote and we set up a time for removal. He removed the tree as agreed.

The owner, Jason, came out to give the estimate. He is incredibly knowledgeable about trees and knew exactly what I needed. He explained how they would shape the tree and take off the dead limbs while encouraging new growth. It took about a month before he had any appointments available. His crew did such a great job and went beyond my expectations. They raked the leaves during the clean-up and even cleaned them off my neighbor's roof! The main trimmerhas a great eye for the shape of the tree and even though the tree had a lot of dead limbs on one side, he maintained the overall shape without leaving bare patches or noticeable gaps. The most impressive thing to me was that a branch broke a split rail on the perimeter fence when it came down, and the crew said they'd replace it within a few weeks. The next morning I woke up and the rail was already replaced! I hadn't even heard or seen them come by. Amazing service. Overall, DLC offers a superlative tree service: knowledge, skill, service, and professional from start to finish.

Had a dead Aspen tree removed, as I feared it would blow or fall over. Jason came over when said he would...Monday morning...cut the tree down and removed every single twig from the back yard. I couldn't tell anyone had ever even been there except the tree was gone. A unbeatable price (thank you Angie's List) and superior service. I'll never use anyone else for my tree service.

Over the last 10 years, I have had two major tree services trim and shape my Ash tree. Both did an absolutely horrible job. The first company sent out a very young guy with a chain saw and he butchered the tree. I was furious. The second company, several years later, did almost as bad a job. I actually thought I would have to have the tree taken down. This past summer I had DLC trim and shape the tree. They sent out 3 very professional men who did a fantastic job. The tree has never looked better and I couldn't be happier with the job DLC did.
