Jason came out and gave an estimate which I felt was reasonable. The crew that came out to trim/remove trees was ahead of schedule, did the job quickly and I felt behaved very professionally. I have purchased three "big deals", but this is the only company that really was a 'Big Deal'.

It took awhile to reach them after I paid the Angie's list fee...my only complaint. They came out and did the estimate and then we fixed a date. They came on time and did a good job. My experience overall was very good.

I have two ornamental fruit trees, a Canadian choke cherry and a crabapple, that were badly in need of a trim so when I saw the Angie's List Big Deal for half price tree service from DLC I went for it, knowing I could trust any company with a high rating on the LIST to do a great job. Jason had been to our house before to estimate a shrub-removal project, so he came right out to estimate the tree-trimming job. They couldn't do the job right away because I had a scheduling issue, but the day came when we could all get together on a date. The two men arrived on time and went right to work, finishing both trees in record time. And they looked amazing (the trees). I can't remember them ever looking better after a trim. They trimmed and thinned and whipped them into shape, and cleaned everything up and left my yard as though nothing ever happened! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend DLC for all your tree needs.

It was the first time I had used them. They trimmed a few trees for me. They did a very good job. They were very professional.

They did a fast and efficient job and cleaned up the area nicely.

The man arrived on time and finished in a reasonable amount of time. We've had many tree trimmers over the years, and this was the best job ever.

I had two dying aspens in front of my house that needed removal. I chose Arbor services in part because of prior reviews on Angie's list, but also because of Jason's willingness to provide an itemized quote for a variety of options related to other trees in my yard. I received a very reasonable estimate for the two aspens and their stumps to be removed ($340) and also advice on a large pine tree that was situated close to my house in the back yard. While he gave me a quote for the removal of that tree too, he also suggested that I reconsider its removal because he judged it to be "safe" relative to stability and its location. A very good sign of honesty, as the company obviously stood to gain from the extra work. He also suggested that I have a tree in the front yard trimmed because of its shape and type (an ash tree that hasn't been trimmed in over a decade, and that is sucseptible to breaking with a heavy snow load). I decided to just have the two trees removed, and had a useful conversation with Jason about the ash tree. Jason was very relaxed about it all, and wasn't trying to "sell" any extras; he just provided me with the information I asked for (and more) and was respectful of my decisions. While I wasn't at home to observe the process, the work was scheduled quickly, and completed on time. This was much appreciated, as Jason was able to squeeze my job in much earlier than he had originally suggested because of my own desire to get it done quickly. There was no evidence of any damage, despite the trees being very close to the front of the house, and there were few traces that they had ever been there! I turned that area into a garden. Nice work!

It all went well. Due to the warm weather, Jason wanted to wait a couple of months before doing the work. He even trimmed a couple of small fruit trees for a small additional charge. The trees look better.

The company owner came out to look at the property and tell us what would be involved. He was professional and personable. He let us know exactly what would happen, and talked through pricing with us. When we mentioned the situation with some other trees, he also gave some advice while he was there. We had purchased two Big Deals per the deal fine print, which would just about cover all the work we needed done. Their workers came out right on schedule and cut down the hackberry tree and trimmed branches from two crabapples. Everything got done right, although we weren't 100% sure we loved the way the cuts looked on the one crabapple tree -- although it was a little messy to start out with. They left things nice and clean and didn't forget to leave one log that my husband requested be left behind.

The workers arrived on time and reviewed what the job entailed. I could see that he was not exactly sure what needed to be done in the backyard, so I went out and went over everything with him. He thanked me for taking the time to do that. The workers worked very swiftly and efficiently and always cleaned up the area they worked in first before moving on to the next area. The yard was raked free of debris and the sidewalks were swept clean so there was no trace of them having been there! They had me check the work before I paid them and sent them on their way which was nice. IT is hard to imagine the difference their job made now, as it's winter time and the leaves are long gone. But we can already tell the silver maple tree that was growing out of control before looks alot better and we can't wait to see the results of the trimming over the next year and two!

Only problem with the service was significant delay between when contacted and when service able to be performed. Swamped with Angie's List purchases.... In my opinion, if it's going to take over a month to book, sell less coupons on Angie's List.

I purchased an Angie's List Deal Coupon for this arborist. The deal was a good. $200 worth of services for $99. I added an addtional $80 for the service quote. Jason was great. He kept me informed of their schedule. Josh and his crew were very polite and cleaned up the site and moved my patio furniture back in place. I would use this service again.

A very large cottonwood tree needed trimming of dead wood. Jason came and provided an estimate and explained the options regarding the large tree. Arrangements were made for the work to be completed and the team came out and did a very good job. They were efficient, polite, moved items that may be damaged by any falling branches, and cleaned up after all the trimming. They were kind to leave some of the smaller/medium branches for us to cut up into fire wood and did a little of it for me themselves. I will definitely use this company again.

I had hire them do some tree trimming and we also added a few extra duties for them to do. They were punctual, professional, and efficient. They did a great job and I will use them again and would recommend them to others.

Arrived promptly at scheduled time. Assessed work needed, mad additional suggestions to avoid potential house damage from overhanging limb. Performed work and cleaned up thoroughly afterward. Additional work was dome at modest added cost. I will call again for future work without hesitation.

I received an estimate right away after purchasing the Big Deal. It did however take them some time to come out to do the actual job, which concerned me a bit. I guess that they were just very busy because of the time of year. I was very pleased at what was done and the couteousness of the employees. Jason Kleinsmith allowed me to pay with a credit card, which made the transaction alot easier for me. I am overall very satisfied with their work.

They arrived on time and happily reviewed everything I wanted and what they planned to do including how it fit into the price I'd paid! They showed me exactly what was done before leaving to make certain I was pleased. They had removed all debris. It was perfect based upon my expectations!

They were punctual and did a great job. Unfortunately a big snow storm came a few weeks later and created a dozen new dead branches that needed removing. Since I cannot blame them for acts of nature, my overall experience was a 10

I had purchased the daily deal from Angie's List. I exclusively used e-mail to contact Jason and it took about 10 days from initial contact to get something scheduled (that said, they also came out for a quote during that time period). The work was very good and Jason was very professional. I would definitely use them again. I did think the price was a little higher than I expected, but having already purchased the deal, I couldn't do a lot of price shopping for a fair comparison. Still, I was happy and quality is often worth paying for.

All went very Good. My dying Tree was removed. They ground up a drip line when frinding the roots but didn't notice it to tell me. Figured it out after they were gone. I Brought it to their attention and they took the equivalent for what it cost to repair the drip line off my bill. Very professional, prompt, and cleaned up after themselves. Would use again.

The appointment was confirmed earlier in the week. They showed up on time and completed the work. They asked for a review of the work. I asked if they would take care of a few branches we had and they had no problem. They were professional and hard working.

EXCELLENT JOB!!! Fit me in to their schedule quickly in light of a yard full of trees/branches. Excellent work for a fair price!! I would gladly call them for future jobs as well as refer my friends to them. STRONG WORK!!
