Got an estimate on time. Service was performed on time. People were courteous, prompt and cleaned up after the work was done.

DLC provided an estimate within 2 days of our request for one. It was a very competitive price and the recommendations listed on Angie's List were excellent. They performed all services within 1 day including clean up & removal of all debris from the property. We are very happy with their services, pricing, and professionalism. We highly recommend them and will use them again when the need arises.

We were seeking high quality professional service. Jason, a Certified Arborist, arrived promptly to provide us with a written estimate and in all ways was very professional. He does an outstanding job of representing this company. The work was done on a timely basis and the charges just as outlined on the estimate. We are very pleased with the quality of the pruning service provided, including the pristine clean-up. We definitely plan to use them again. Their discount deal on Angies List was much appreciated.

DLC did a great job. The tree was right next to our pond and they worked hard to keep the wood chips from littering the pond. They were on time, quick and clean.

They came out to assess the work and they proved thorough and competent. At first I wasn't sure what to expect because we had another appointment that they didn't show up for and didn't communicate with me until later in the day. When he did arrive this time I could tell he was honest and cared about doing a good job. The previous mishap was something totally outside of his control and he was apologetic for that.

We took several bids for the job of removing a very large locust tree and a bunch of ugly neglected very big shrubs. Our biggest concern was that the tree overhung our two story house and was very close to the house (probably 10 feet from two different exterior walls). We found DLC on Angie's List and had good reviews and looked to have done some work in our neighborhood so we invited them to provide the estimate. Jason came out and did a thorough estimate and was very professional in the way he explained all aspects of the service they could (and couldn't) provide. In the end, they weren't the cheapest but the "$110 for $225 Worth of Tree Service" deal on Angie's List made their estimate close enough to the cheapest that we chose them based on the good reviews. They scheduled the date and came out on time and removed the tree from a relatively tight working area with ease. When they ground down the stump they did a good job but left quite a bit of debris behind (enough to kill the surrounding ground cover which was a shame). I guess I expected some debris but not 4 or 5 inches of sawdust and quite a lot of small chunks of wood. Maybe it's just me. The side yard was completed with equal efficiency and far less debris and overall I am very happy with the end result. I would use them again (and may).

After purchasing the deal I called to schedule. They came right out to look at the two trees I wanted estimates on and provided me an estimate. I called and left a message that I just wanted the one tree done for now. There was some delay in hearing back from them so I called again. The weather didn't cooperate, but when they had a clear opening they came right out and got it done.

They were suppose to come on Wednesday, but due to the snowstorm rearranged the time on Saturday. The estimator, that set up the appointment both times was extrememly courteous and friendly. The worker showed up on Saturday as planned and did all the work. He was using a new computer program on his phone that wasn't working very well, so I showed him my copy of the estimate. He went right to work. He asked for my suggestions and approval and all went very well.

They came out and game me an estimate, adjusted the service date to comply with my needs. Arrived on time did their work and cleaned up well.

The job they did was just fine, but I wasn't happy with how the transaction went. I did not hear from them, they didn't call me back, and they didn't finish the job. Seven and a half months later, when he finally contacted me again, he sent me a bill for $300, a discounted price of $140. I told him I didn't hear back from him and he said that someone came out knocked on my door. It's possible I didn't hear them, but I would imagine someone would have had a cell phone to call me or come back later. I did end up sending them the $300. I didn't like that they didn't get back with me until several months later and they didn't trim the two small limbs in the front.

Jason set up a convenient time for me for an estimate and came by on time. An appointment was made and his crew showed up on time. The crew was outstanding - they told my neighbor before starting (the tree was near their fence) and cut down the tree in 2 hours. At my neighbor's request, they left properly-sized wood for their stove on their side of the fence. The crew did an excellent clean-up job as well, even raking up the area, which had plenty of leaves from last fall. The 2-man crew was polite and friendly. I also used an Angie's list coupon and saved over $100 on the job, originally priced at $375. I would heartily recommend DLC to anyone needing trees removed or other yard work!

Jason was prompt and very personable and professional when making the initial assessment of the property and tree care needs. The home inspector had alerted us that there were overhanging branches that were a risk of friction damage to the overhead power line, so that was our first concern. However, this property has a lot of trees that had not been properly maintained for some time. In front of the house, very close to the house itself, there were two large junipers and an arborvitae. The whole front of the house was screened by these plants. One of the junipers was in very poor condition, and this was the one that was taller than the house. There was also an arborvitae and a pine in bad locations in the front of the property. All of these we decided to remove. Because the pine was growing through the concrete in the side of the driveway we chose to grind that stump as well. Also in front of the house are two ash trees that Jason described as "dirty". They had not been properly pruned for some time. Behind the house there were two crabapple trees and a silver maple that were all near/under/touching overhead lines and needed pruning. Two badly-positioned pines needed to be removed. Jason also pointed out a volunteer hackberry tree that was growing much too close to the fence that needed to be removed. On the day of the job the DLC crew arrived promptly and wasted no time getting to work. When I arrived at the home they were already hard at work -- in fact, that huge juniper had a worker inside it cutting it from the inside out and all I could see was an arm and a chainsaw. By the end of the day, all of the removal trees had been cut to grade, the stump had been ground in the driveway, and all debris had been properly contained and carried away. The trees that needed pruning look great, and I can hardly wait for them to leaf out and show their improved shapes this spring! This was not a small job, and I am impressed with the results. My only disappointment is some damage to the turf in the front yard. The gate on one side of the house does need to be rehung, and they did need to open that gate to get equipment into the back yard and debris out to the front. Unfortunately, the turf was damaged in exactly the swing pattern of the gate, so I will have to get some sod into the void where the turf was scraped away to bare soil. Note: the price I reported does reflect the use of a voucher for this provider from Angie's List that reduced the overall price by $115. The quoted price for the job was $1100 -- and Jason advised me to go buy the voucher for the discount. I *will* be calling DLC for maintenance pruning of the remaining trees in 3 to 5 years.

I purchased an Angie's List deal (50% off) and hired DLC Arbor Services to trim an apple tree, remove dead branches from a pine tree and aspens and remove a dead cherry tree. Jason called me back within the hour after I left a message requesting a quote. He was very professional when he came out, gave us a written quote with separate items so we can decide which ones to do now and which ones later depending on what we wanted to spend. Jason seemed very knowledgeable about trees and was very honest about work needed and not needed. They were out within the week to do the job. They scheduled a time with me but were early and I couldn't be there during the work. They missed a branch that needed removed but after calling them they were out within the hour to fix what was missed. The only disappointing thing is that I expected them to clean up pretty good and there were a lot of small pieces of wood all over our driveway and on the street in front of our house so I had to sweep it all up.

Searched for a vendor to remove our bush prior to a major backyard project. They were timely in responding to my initial inquiry and came out the same day or next day to provide a quote. Their initial quote was 50% cheaper than two of their competitors. In addition, they happened to also be offering a "Big Deal" promo through Angie's list at the time so it was even cheaper. They performed the work one business day later and they did a great job. I would definitely recommend them for tree/bush removal.

We had put this off for 20 years and the trees are so beautiful now. I can't wait for the leaves to come out this spring and see how they look. Everything about this experience was pleasant and there were no surprises.
