I used DLC because they had a great BBB and Angie record and comments, and pricing was competitive and an even better value with the Angie's discount coupon. Overall favorable impression. First and last contact was Ann who answers inquiries and collects payment. She was very pleasant. Jason gave the bid. He was the most professional and knowledgeable of the bidders I talked to. Separate service calls with Tim in July, who treated the aphid infestation, and Mark in October who did the trimming and pruning. Both were great. I was very impressed how Mark was very efficient and helpful and patient with my questions. There was a scheduling glitch early on but it was resolved w/Jason's followup. I would definitely recommend and use them again.

They did an excellent job. Worked safely and cleaned up well.

They did good work and yes I would consider using them again. However, it was difficult for them to fully remove the tree stumps. When I asked about why the stump was not fully removed the answer was that the machine had dull blades. Is that a good reason, I don't put fault on the employees but what about the employer. Two of the men were very professional but one was a bit of a show off and very annoying. So three out of 5 responses I give it an A

DLC representative Jason gave us an estimate on tree removal. He was very well versed and answered questions I did not know I had. We had his team come to remove several 30 year old Aspen trees that were dead. The team arrived early and went right to work. They were well trained and most efficient at taking down the trees, cleaning up useable wood and sending debris through the chipper. They trimmed dead wood from existing trees and left the area as clean as possible. I will definitely use them again and would highly recommend them to others.

They arrived when promised. Very friendly and professional. Did an excellent job of trimming both trees. Not sure how to rate the price, but for the amount of work that need to be done it seemed fair to me.

Came out and did an estimate in August. Very professional and answerd all my questions. Very flexible with my ideas. Set the date in October at that time. They came out the date scheduled. Started shortly after 8:00 AM. Had a rather large 6-7 people as I recall. Had all equipment including truck with bucket to get to high portion of trees, equipment that cut up tree limb (chipper or compost). Their entire to team worked very hard while they were there cutting back and removing the trees. Did a great job in cleaning up in our yard and our neighbors. Received compliments from neighbors of how hard team worked and the great job they did. They were very easy to work, very friendly , flexible and professional. I will use them in the future.

He did what I asked but now wish I had been more specific, to make sure all my shrubs got trimmed to the same length/shape. But that is my fault. :) Just decide ahead of time what you really want done. Overall, I like using this company for my needs.

My tenant said they were professional, nice and got the job done very quickly. The pictures that were sent showed the before and after and the cleanup was excellent.

.Went just fine though we had some delays in getting it done. I appreciated however that they took that into consideration when they charged me so I felt good about that.

At first we had contacted them and they said they would get back to us about scheduling. We didnt hear back for over 1 week or more maybe, and I was wondering what was up. Turned out they lost our contact info because they switched data systems. Well that was annoying since we just wanted it done, so because they felt bad, they came in a few days later and finished in 1.5 days. They cleaned everything up and it looked good.

DLC trimmed the dead branches off 4 aspen trees in our front yard. They did a good job, and cleaned up and hauled away all the debris.

The team arrived on time, as scheduled. Both men were polite, listening and understanding the work as agreed upon. They set to work immediately , and would check in with me periodically . Both were quite pleasant when I requested the one item be thinned back even more. They did a great job of cleaning up after themselves, raking and sweeping away all debris.

They did a good job, but they only trimmed two trees. They were nice and efficient. I was a little surprised, but he said that our trees were too young. He just trimmed the sidewalk trees. The trees belong to the city and not me. I already paid the big deal and I know it’s too late, but the deal really didn’t apply. I don’t think I got $225 worth of tree trimming. I won’t be using a tree service for a while since my trees are too young.

The company responded very quickly. They came out the very next day and e-mailed me an estimate. The person in the office was extremely helpful. She checked in with me and made sure everything went smoothly. Their price lower than an earlier bid and they did an excellent job.

Extremely well; could not have been better. The crew was the greatest. No work had been done on these trees in many years so it was a really big job at my residence. The work looks excellent/exceeded my expectations in every aspect...explained tree care, answered all my questions, and agreed that only a trim was needed for neighbor's tree (none of us wanted it butchered!) The quote for this job was $585 and that is what I expected to pay. I had purchased the $99 for $200 worth of tree service and figured it was calculated into that final total. Well, no, when it was time to pay, he said it was $585 less the $200 worth of service I had purchased on an Angie's List deal. I also want to mention that they wore safety equipment--glasses and helmets, and used safety rigging, which is important to me. What a deal it was (is!) The work was superb, the clean-up incredible right down to raking the lawn and leaf-blowing the sidewalks. I did have to wait a little and work with them on the service date mostly due to my (and their) busy schedule(s) and I would give no less of a rating on that account--this company is worth it. Very professional; highly recommend without reservation.

The technicians performing the service were courteous and completed the work as expected. Our overall experience was less than impressive largely due to a lack of responsiveness from the office staff when it came to scheduling the work. We're undecided on whether we'd use this company for future projects.
