"Edgar and his father, although fishing up another job, responded via telephone within minutes of my online request to discuss my problem. They arrived at my apartment upon completion of of their job. We easily settled on very favorable terms and Edgar and his father set to work. The plumbing issue was quite difficult; my room-mate had emptied the kitty litter box into the toilet. Fortunately it was not the clumping kind but rather crystals of silica gel. "My wife and had put off a remodel of our 33-year-old bathroom until cracks in the fiberglas shower pan compelled us to act. I cut out sheetrock from the shower wall flanges and then cut out the walls. I cut a circle around the drain and popped off the base only to find the drain pipe cracked at the 45 degree fitting going into a straight 2" abs pipe about 2/3rds encased in concrete. When I tried to put a rubber cap on the pipe, a cracked opened up 3.5" down the pipe. Now I was worried. After talking to a couple of friends, I turned to Angie's List. I called Ken Fleck and, happily for me, he was in town finishing a project and would be happy to stop by and see my problem. He was impressed by the poor workmanship of the contractor we had 33 years ago and offered to fix the pipe and place the new shower pan right then. He sent me to the plumbing shop for parts while he started drilling into the concrete. By the time I got back, he said the pipe had a spiral crack all the way to the Y-coupler leading down into the concrete slab (Actually, I could see the damage.). He put in a proper drain and trap and installed the new shower pan all in a little over two hours. If I had done it on my own it would have taken a week and I would have been a nervous wreck and my wife more than a little unhappy. Thanks, Ken."

"Joshua is really thorough and professional.  He stuck to his start time and gave approximate end times that he delivered.  His quote was accurate.   He sent pictures, kept receipts and delivered what he said he would do.
We had two changes that needed to happen that required some added labor and materials, but Joshua was cool about it.  He even came on a saturday to do a final walk through.  Which I thought was very cool.  
The pergola went up quickly and was what I drew.  
The changes inside the house he did very clean and neat.  He had to cut back an archway and then replace some tile.
I have no hesitation recommending him or using him in the future.
