This is my second time using Allphase. The first time I needed an electrician in my new home I got four quotes and used Allphase. Allphase was great. Great price, on time, professional, and quality work. This time I went with Allphase again and it was the same story. This guy Jason is great. I wish he did plumbing and carpentry.

I was very pleased with the service and work provided. The original call involved only the garage and kitchen receptables. I asked him to check a few other outlets and accepted his recommendations on upgrades or replacements. The work was completed within 2 hours.
Description of Work: I have been delaying this work for some time, and am now planning a minor remodel. My house had 2 receptables that kept tripping, one 2 outlet receptable with the top one without power, and a damaged outlet for the kitchen range that seem to be a safety hazard. Jason promptly trouble shooted my issues and gave me options with the type of receptables. He also suggested that I contact a plumber to replace my gas line to the range since it was crimped. He replaced 4 receptables with GFI (1 garage, 1 outside, 2 bathrooms) and demonstrated their operability.

I did electrical work for (Member Name) which he was very happy with my work. Even though he gave me rating on my electrical work on Angie's List about a year ago. I do not see it anywhere. It seems like Angie's List got some things mixed up. I do not do plumbing work and am not licensed to do so. I am AllPhase Electric not Independent Plumbing. I hope Angie's List takes there time and pays more attention and corrects these mistakes.

He called me before starting the work to tell me when he would arrive - very diligent. He communicates very well and takes his time to ensure the job is well done and everything is explained. Top performer for best price!
Description of Work: Jason replaced an old, dangerous Pacific Electric sub-panel. He encountered some issues with fitting the box into the wood framing of the house, but handled it very well and without asking for more money. He had to remove part of a stud and replace it with another piece. He also installed to GFCI outlets in the bathrooms.

The electricity in one room of the house was periodically shutting off. I checked the breakers and everything looked fine. When the reset button was pushed on the wall outlet, power would come back on. There had been no changes in the appliances plugged into this particular outlet. I called Jason and though he was busy, he asked if he could stop by just in case it was a quick fix. He came the same day, identified the problem (and old water pump in a fountain outside) and replaced two outlets (one needed to be GFI and the other was a GFI and should have been a normal one). He provided excellent service and I would absolutely call him again.

Jason was very professional and polite. He had to get climbed into the attic to install an electric box, I can see it was hard work. He had to cut the nails to the joint because the existing light attachment was nailed in from under. (My description here may not be totally technically accurate, from what he describes, it is the way older homes are built). He speaks in facts and sounded very experienced. He also tried to address my need to make adjustments when the installed fan was wobbling on high speed. (He was able to balance it) He would make recommendations to the options for what to do with the existing on-off switch. He tested to make sure the fan, the light and the remote were working. He brought materials relating to the installation with him, so unlike my previous experience where I had to go buy something, or the contractors would leave in the middle of the work to go shopping. All the material was covered by him (except the light bulbs). I had asked him to check on other two areas of the house I had concerns with. One was an outlet panel sticking out (not an safety issue, get a larger cover), one was a landscaping light had a bad contact (he fixed it for free). I also asked for his recommendations on different light fixtures I was thinking about replacing. He gave good ideas and recommendations. As to his charge for the service, since I do not have a good feel for it, I did ask him at the beginning if it was a pretty standard price for this type of work. He said that is what he charges and it is about a 5 hour job. I did have another qoute that was in the $120 range by a handyman company (I may have to pay for additional materials). Jason was at the house for about 4 hours (including the two additional requests) for the work. However, I cannot comment if the other handyman would have the same quality of work as Jason. Overall, I would rather have the work done right and pay for the quality. The experience was smooth and uneventful which I really appreciate.

Owner came out. I showed him what I wanted done. I also had several other small jobs (lights above kitchen island, and install a fan in my Master Bedroom. I told him I wanted the fan over stairs repaired right away, and asked when he could do it. He said he could do it that evening. He did not come. He e-mailed an estimate for the other work, but did not show up. When I asked him he said he needed a contractor friend to look at the fan oner the stairs, but could only show up on Wed. Nights. Itold him I was not available on Wed. Nights. I haven't heard from him since.Thats been over a month.

Response from ALLPHASE ELECTRIC
I was at customers home did a on site troubleshooting for his fan spent about an hour with no charge. I spent time researching for his remotes with no charge. My charge for this kind of service is $150.00 min. I never said I would fix the fan that evening. Since this job required 2 persons I tried coordinating with the homeowner and another contractor to come to his house on 3 different occasions. He said he was not available and would not give alternate dates. I sent him email and asked for the fan model number on 3 different occasions and he would not respond. I figured he did not want to get the job done anymore. Why would I walk away from a job that I invested 3-4 hours of my time with no charge. If The customer still wants to get the job done he could call me up and setup a solid date and time mutual to both of us and I would gladly still do the job.

Mr. Arbil squeezed me in his very busy schedule, fixed an urgent problem which was simpler than expected, and acted in a very professional and responsive manner throughout the job. He responded promptly to my initial email inquiry, arranged for an appointment, and was totally upfront about his fees. He was punctual and did his work well. Since then I have asked for a quote for further electrical work in the future, and he has responded in a likewise prompt, professional manner.
Description of Work: We had power loss in a part of the house, which normally should have tripped a circuit breaker, but it didn't. Mr. Arbil came out on short notice on a Sunday afternoon, thoroughly diagnosed the problem (checked all breakers and fuses) and fixed it in a professional and timely manner. He has a $225, 2-hour minimum fee, which he told us before we engaged him. He took the remaining time consulting on our old wiring system which we have been meaning to fix, and fixing one other unrelated small problem.

Difficult to find cause of problem. Lights are controlled by any one of three switches. The switches seemed OK. Electrician finally went up thru trapdoor to crawl space over ceiling, very difficult conditions, after half hour found problem. Replaced all three switches, existing ones were obsolete type. All now OK. Jason is a competent and delightful person, I would definitely use him again.

We went through 3 or 4 iterations of plans with the contractor before finally settling on a plan. He was very timely and responsive. He was also patient, as the morning he showed up we had a raccoon in our crawl space that had to be removed before the contractor could work in that area. He was very professional, cleaned up afterward, and the quality of work was rated very highly by the inspector.
Description of Work: This job involved installation of 2 new 3 wire circuits in an older home, with three four plug outlets, plus installation of 3 new two-plug outlets outdoors. Installation of the four plug outlets required running of new wire from the main service panel through tight lower crawl space, to the installation locations.

I needed to have a very noisy attic fan removed quickly as it was bothering neighbors. He came out that afternoon, and even though it was extremely hot in the attic he removed it that day rather than asking to come back in the morning when it was cooler. He also replaced a broken electrical outlet and was quite professional throughout the visit. I found him on Angie's List and would definitely call him again.

Went great. Originally all I needed was the range circuit connected, but when Jason looked at the box, he reorganized it, cleaning it up and making sure all connections were safe. He then looked at the range outlet, put in a deeper electrical box, then cleaned up the cables (which were messy). Everything looks a whole lot better and is safer.

Jason responded immediately to my phone call and came over that evening to do an estimate. We agreed on a price for labor with materials to be billed separately. I supplied the equipment to be installed. Jason came every day until the project was complete. He is efficient, professional and a really nice guy. Jason had never wired a greenhouse before, so we agreed on an estimate - to be revised depending on how much work was actually done. In the end, he had bid it too low, but was going to stay with the original estimate. I insisted that he take fair compensation for his work. He finally agreed. I will hire him for all my future electrical work.

Jason returned my call within the hour and came out the same day to give me an estimate for the job. He arrived on time, was very knowledgeable and gave me several options on how he could complete the job. He provided me with a reasonable estimate on the spot. Once the remodel job was started, I contacted Jason to determine when he could complete the electrical work. We was very accommodating to my schedule and my contractor's schedule. He arrived when he said he would. He completed the job in the amount of time he said he would. He was polite, efficient and tidy. It was a pleasure to deal with such a fine individual.
Description of Work: Jason installed two dedicated 15-amp circuits for the installation of a whirlpool bathtub that is being installed as part of a bathroom remodel. The job involved identifying if our panel had sufficient room for the circuits, running wires through the attic and installing new outlets for the circuits.

Excellent. I have used this electrician before and he is reputable and a good worker who gets the job done right the first time. He shows up on time and is excellent at returning your calls. I have had many remodeling projects done in my home in the last 5 years and have enough "contractor horror stories" to fill a book, Jason has demonstrated that there are honest good workers in the trades.
