Jason and his son always do efficient quality work. They are very easy to work with and good at troubleshooting. The have done work for us twice before over the years. We recommend them highly. All installations/repairs completed during this visit work as expected.

It went very well. Mirror did not come with an on/off switch which was totally baffling. Jason was able to install a regular wall switch to work the mirror which solved the problem. We were very happy with his work.

Absolutely perfect from first interview and estimate of project to completion. This project took an entire day. Jason was one time with the first appointment, the estimate and the day of service. He answered all our questions and made sound recommendations with safety in mind. I know this wasn't an easy project on one of our hottest days yet and greatly appreciate the completion of it despite t he heat. Our house was left neat and clean. You would've known work was done if you didn't know the cook top was new. Again we are extremely lucky to work with another professional who provided excellent craftsmanship and services in the spirit of old. In a world of the fast buck and questionable contractors it's a treasure to find yet one more honest hard working professional. If I have any future electrical issues I won't hesitate to call on Allphase Electric again. Thanks much

Jason is great. On time and responsive. I accidentally wrote him a check from the wrong checkbook and it bounced and he laughed. I felt terrible and he was so understanding. Our lights are great--thanks, Jason!

The $150.00 is the standard home consultation fee. However, the fee covered all the work that was done and he was here about an hour. Jason was quiet, effecient and he cleaned up after himself. Some electrical outlets had stopped working and he fixed them and included a new electrical box that he didn't charge for.

We had been experiencing flickering lights and contacted AllPhase Electric because his profile mentioned he specialized in trouble shooting. When he arrived he immediately set about to recreate our problem and then set to diagnosing and correcting the problem. It was a very simple fix (we had a loose connection within the service panel) but he did take the time to check out our electrical from the pole to the service panel. Extremely efficient, friendly and willing to share information. Prompt as well!

Jason responded to my request quickly and was able to come out and provide a detailed estimate a few days later. I got a couple of other bids and his price was fair and I appreciated his straight forward demeanor and the fact that he was local. He was booked out about a month in advance, but that was okay as we didn't have any deadline for our recessed kitchen lighting project. I emailed him a couple of times before he started with questions about the lights he would be installing and he always responded with answers pretty much the same day.
He showed up on time and completed the job the same day. He took time to carefully lay out the placement of the lights and go over it with me before beginning the installation. He was able to troubleshoot some quirks with our old house including replacing some fried wires in a junction box in the attic and running into a double layer of drywall in parts of the kitchen ceiling. I was glad I went with a professional electrician for the recessed lighting installation even though I had to have a separate contractor come in to finish up the patching and painting. I would definitely use him again when we have a need for electrical work.

I got off early from work to meet the guy so he can give me a quote. He seemed very professional and courteous; he was running a little late and he even called to let me know. It's been over a month and I still have received a quote from him. During our initial call I described to him what I wanted done, and I guess after taking a look at our job he was interested. If that was the case, that's fine but I wish he had the professionalism to just tell me.
I can't understand why contractors would never follow through with submitting quotes.

"Hi [member name removed], I am sorry that you did not get my proposal email. I did sent it on June 8th. I will resend the original email to you so that you can see that I was interested in the work and I did sent you the proposal on June 8th. I would greatly appreciate any potential customer to please call me if they do not hear from me because sometimes emails get written down wrong or they do not reach the recipient for what ever reason. Again I am sorry."

I had a backlog of lighting projects to be completed: Replacing five outdoor light fixtures and and two indoor fixtures (bathroom ceiling light/fan and entryway pendant lamp). Calling around to a number of companies, I found that prices quoted varied by quite a bit. Jason at Allphase was among the more reasonably priced, and priced on per-fixture rates based on the type of fixture/difficulty, per my over-the-phone description. A couple of competing companies gave me single total dollar amount quotes (quite high ones, at that) which I was less comfortable with. The online reviews for Allphase also were quite positive. On the scheduled date Jason was on time, and completed the work (which took most of the day) in a timely manner. The outdoor lights were fairly straightforward, and the interior lights were probably a bit more time consuming than typical. Price charged was as quoted. I definitely would hire Jason again for any lighting or electrical work.

Called four electricians with A ratings from Angie's list as directed by wife. I reached 3. One was too busy, one was too late and Jason said he could make it in the afternoon two days later. Asked for description of problem. Told me his rate $85/hr. I said okay. He came and called within window of arrival he gave me. Jason showed up went to work, fixed everything discussed in succession. Quiet, quick, polite personable enough but is focused on work.

2010 experience- This review is long overdue. I had problems with sparks coming out of one of my outlets in my condo. I contacted Allphase and Jason (the owner) called me back immediately. We scheduled an appointment. He was on time. He pinpointed the problem, explained it to me and fixed it. That simple. He also checked other outlets and electrical items around my condo and replaced a light switch that he felt would give me problems in the near future. I honestly don't remember how much it cost but I know I didn't feel ripped off or taken advantage of. I think he threw the light switch replacement in free of charge because I felt the total invoice was super reasonable.
2011 experience- Another review long overdue- I had problems with my electrical oven losing power. Too make a long story short, first I had an oven guy come out ( several times). The oven guy told me to call my electrician because he felt it was a circuit breaker problem. I called Jason and he came and evaluated the situation. Jason felt that it wasn't a circuit breaker and told me he would replace it if I wanted him to but he felt my oven was probably the issue. I insisted he replace it and yes Jason was right.........the issue was the oven. I had to get a new one. So all in all I got my circuit breaker replaced for no reason. Again I don't remember the price but it wasn't ridiculous or I would remember. I appreciated Jason's honesty and his and quot;the customer is always rightand quot; attitude. As always he was polite, timely and professional. As long as I live in the area I will go to Jason when I have any electrical work that needs to be done. I highly suggest him.

I was surprised I had to get four estimates before someone could do the job the way I wanted without cutting up the walls. This was not the guy....I didn't hire him, and I got two lights for the price of his one light without all the extra mess and expense.
Response from ALLPHASE ELECTRIC
"Hi Member, First of all thank you for considering me for your electrical needs. Our conversation and my estimate was based on your description of the work over the phone. I do have $150.00 minimum charge and that covers for 2 hours of my labor time. If I was able to finish installing 2 or even 3 lights within that time frame you still would have been charged $150.00 . When running electrical wires behind the walls there is always a chance that there are some obstacles behind walls (wood blocking, pipes etc...) I try to give customer worst case scenario and when I am at the job I go to the extreme and do my best to finish the job with minimum or no damage to the walls at all so that the customer does not have any extra expenses. At most cases I am able to finish the job without having to cut in to the walls even though I tell customer that I may have to. If any Electrician promises you without being at the job site over the phone that there will be no damage to your walls is not being honest with you and you may end up with an unpleasant surprise. I am the owner and the only employee of my busieness and take a lot of pride in my work. My busieness is based on honesty straightforwardness and customer satisfaction and I guess sometimes it hurts my busieness but I have been operating the same way for over 20 years and will continue to do so. I thank you again for considering my company for your electrical need and I hope you will consider me again for your future electrical needs. I will promise you that you will know exactly what you are going to get and there will be no surprises and 100% customer satisfaction. Kind Regards, Jason. AllPhase Electric."

Jason was responsive and prompt. He tried everything to fix an outdoor light issue, but couldn't do it through no fault of his (the break in the line turned out to be under our driveway which requires some concrete tear up that we deferred until later.) He did identify the problem and spent 2 hours investigating but only charged us for one. He's a great guy and contractor.
