ESPN Painting started in 2001. After many years in the field and working for a variety of contractors since I was a teenager, I learned that if I was on my own I can have more freedom to make choices that benefit the client and myself. So I decided to take all the skills and knowledge I have learned and started my own business. I offer a more personal hands-on-experience with my company. I'm always on the job and I take pride in what I do. I do hire help as I need it as some jobs require it to be necessary. I try to be as competitive as I can with my prices, they are flexible and negotiable. The estimates are FREE, so you shouldn't go wrong with that. In 2002, a year after I started my business, I joined the Better Business Bureau. I have been a member ever since with an A+ rating. Please feel free to check with the BBB in San Jose.

I contacted ESPN for a bid for a complete Exterior and Interior painting job on my house. Though ESPN was not the lowest bid I received, the owner Ron was friendly and seemed very knowledgeable about the aspects of his painting trade and was able to answer all my questions in detail accordingly, giving me a much more comfortable feeling than the two other painting contractors I received quotes from. So, after much thought and discussions with my husband, we went with ESPN painting. And, I didn't regret that decision, one bit, which is why I'm making it a point to post here on Angie's list. ESPN painting and Ron were very thorough...the time they spent on prep work alone....power washing the exterior, filling cracks and priming was very impressing and I think will make for a much longer lasting paint job in the future. My Interior bathrooms look amazing...the cut in work is of great quality. I am particular and was checking for spots where you see paint slopped or dripped and I really didn't see any. The painting on my base boards, trim work and doors looks wonderful. I was impressed. Also, being the particular person that I am, I found it difficult deciding and choosing my colors. Ron was very helpful in this area and even came out with a bunch of paint samples and put them up on my stucko and areas of wood panelled walls so that I could see exactly what the colors looked like. This was incredibly helpful and I knew right away what colors I wanted and they are rich in color and look GREAT! ESPN and Ron were professionals throughout the job and I am thrilled and completely satisfied with how beautiful my house now looks. Wish I could post a picture here, cause it looks FANTASTIC! Can't give ESPN painting a high enough recommentdation...thanks ESPN for the GREAT job!
