Joshua and assistant worked long and hard until the job was done. I hired A+ to do a beefy brick column mailbox plus add a cement path on porch, did excellent. Highly recommend. Will hire them again for future projects. Price was reasonable.

Overall the stonework they did for us turned out nice. However they did not clean the mortar from the stone before they sealed it as I had pointed out. so I needed to scrub the stone myself to try to get what I could off and I guess I will be resealing it myself because they are non responsive. Also they attempted to caulk around the window and smeared white caulk on the brown stone. He said they would come back but have not been able to get a hold of them. I cannot recommend them.
A-Plus Construction were quick to respond and schedule. Fair and competitive pricing, as well as quality work and attention to detail. Joshua and his son were very friendly and respectful of our property. Would hire again for another project and would highly recommend to friends and family.

During the course of the work, the contractor recommended that the scope of the project (excavating a foundation and installing a short retaining wall) be reduced, but we could not agree on an equitable reduction in the price. Another issue that may or may not count on your project: the crew likes to talk and smoke while working. After the initial session, the contractor was late and/or failed to show or call on a couple occasions. Contracts are not a strength, you need to have your calculator handy and watch the documentation, particularly if the job has changes. Clean-up is not a forte. On the other hand, they are a happy crew and are capable of hard work once they are on the job.

Joshua resurfaced and expanded our driveway. He completed the work on time and on budget.
All I can say is if you go with this contractor not only will the work not be done well but may end up costing you to get it done right. I had them install a 3' high retaining wall and a 6' vinyl fence on top of that. The retaining wall looks OK but their attention to detail is horrible I had to keep a very close eye on them because they were about to screw up several points throughout the construction and the vinyl fence that they put on top not only did they put screws where they shouldn't have that are visible they also added extra panels into the vinyl fence so it doesn't look right and because they added extra vinyl fencing to each section we were shorted at the end of it and was left that way and never came back to fix it they also mounted the gate opening the wrong way.
On behalf of A-plus Construction, the review that Sean F. posted about us in my honest and sincerest opion considering I was on the job site approximately 75% of the time A-plus Construction took to complete this unfortunately unsatisilfied customers work. I feel that Seans review was not only false to a certain degree on a few complaints he had, he actually is the one that is not owning up to the contract he signed and has in turn failed to completely pay A-plus Construction the full amount that is owed for completeiton of the job. Work was satisfactory. Cleanup was less than satisfactory. Don't pay until clean up meets your expectations. I made the mistake of paying him mid-day on the last day of the project during my lunch break. Came home to a very marginal cleanup. Don't know what I am going to do with all the excavated dirt he left behind. I've spent the last 8 hours trying to pressure wash all the concrete, mortar and stucco he left all over my driveway and sidewalk. Some might not come off and just need to "wear off". To his credit, when asked to do something, he did it without complaint. His fee was significantly less than the other two quotes I received, but I guess you get what you pay for.
Great job but off on the timing of completion by a few days, however, the quality of work more than make up for it. Will recommend and rehire them for next project.
good value for my money. My project was simple.
They were very efficient, clean and curtious.
The project took 3x longer than it was supposed to. The workers show up around 10 in the morning and leave by 4. The wall they built is solid, but they slopped cement all over the new stars that they built and existing patio. I assumed it could be washed off - then at the end of the project found out it couldn't be - and A-Plus Joshua acted like it was no big deal. The iron fencing he installed rusted in less than 1 month because it wasn't primed and wasn't painted with the right kind of paint. Joshua seems very nice, but don't be fooled. He tells you what you want to hear and it's a lot of work to get him to do the right thing... Save yourself the headache and hire someone else.
This customer was very difficult to work with. We had sub contracted the metal railing work and when it was discovered to be rusting we offered to redo the railing but the customer refused. Any offers to correct problems were shot down. We had done extra work that was not charged to the customer but the only thing the client wanted was money back. We did refund a portion of the clients money to settle the issue. We have not had this kind of experience with any other Customers before.
How rapidly they called
Joshua is an honest man and is doing the job right. His team completed the backyard walls and pored a walkway almost 150 feet long that looks great. Currently they are working on stacked stone pillars at the driveway entrance that look great! They will continue on here doing the front yard in the weeks to come.

Quick proposal and were ready to work on the date I requested. Job was completed to my satisfaction and faster than I expected. I am very happy. Good quality, especially for the price!
