I told him up front that I only had 17,000 to do the job and he said ' well it won't be a moneymaker but I promise to make you happy and get references for future jobs.' The only time I saw Chuck was when we went shopping for cabinets and counter. His crew who spoke mostly Spanish took out the wall, said couldn't reuse my new windows, and put a bigger one in that I had already framed out in that back room. I believe it was just easier to do that than what I wanted them to do. Then they took my windows or threw them out I don't know but I told Chuck I wanted them to use maybe in my garage. They put in the flooring which I never saw or approved of when I went out of town for the day. It has more brown than gray in it and he's like it's the best I could do. Well ya if your only shop big box stores. I got my flooring from a flooring distributor and he didn't want to spend the time checking them out. Anyway, the corner cabinet isn't in the corner and the counter has a six-inch overhang on the end and there's an open space next to the corner cabinet for no reason. I had given him a thousand upfront then 6700 for supplies and the rest on completion. Totalling $17,000. Exactly what I told him I had. I never got any receipts not even the warranty for the garage disposal. I called him back and asked him about the corner cabinet, he came and looked at it and said Humm I'll have to think about this and I never heard back from him. Every time the crew used my hose they didn't shut the water off all the way, I told them about it but I don't think they understood me. They also left the sawdust in the bottom of my new cabinets which also only had half of a top shelf in them. Why didn't he tell that's the way they came? I would have asked for full shelves that would be usable. I also wanted the soft self-closing drawers which I did not get. Aren't they in all the new remodel? I also asked for the rest of the paint they used so I could blend it in better to my existing color and I never got that either.
My Team did a great job. Right before Xmas we installed a contractor grade kitchen per the homeowners request. She picked all finishes. We repaired the non-permitted room addition the homeowner had partiality built. There was no option of the three windows the homeowner brought up and she knows that. There were power lines and outlet boxes in the way of where she wanted to try and reuse the 3 old windows. We installed a large window center to the wall. Kitchen came out very nice. The old windows were damaged also. She was very happy and paid us when we were done. Were here to please. Not hit and run.
