It's time for maintenance service again, so they called me. I didn't really have any problems and wanted to just have maintenance done. I thought they did a pretty decent job. I think they had a special going on with their price which is why I took advantage of it. They were really professional and very punctual.

Their "A team" of workers--Sean, Ramon and & Oscar--showed up early, ready to go to work at 7 am each morning. They laid drop cloths, put plastic over all furniture, and made every effort to protect my household effects while climbing into my stuffy attic to install a new furnace, hung from rafters in consideration of earthquake movements, etc. They laid a plywood plank in front of the furnace for future service access. They made absolutely surgical cuts in my ceilings to install the vents and return, as well as to enlarge the ceiling opening to the attic. Everything they did was done with precision and respect for the house. They were personable, and above all, worked amazingly well together. They were a well-oiled machine, obviously having worked together for a long time and knowing each other's expertise. Though the cost of the overall job was higher than other estimates, I feel like you get what you pay for. No part of this experience was negative. I highly recommend this crew.

I got estimates from a few companies to install air conditioners in my house. JW's estimate was actually the highest, by a few thousand dollars, but I was so impressed with how responsive, friendly and professional everyone was. Even Denise in the office was friendly, and when she said she would pass on a message, I always heard back quickly. The other companies I spoke with took their time getting back to me, didn't get information to me when they said they would, and generally acted like they were doing me a favor by showing up at all. Without exception, the people at JW (George, Jeff, Sean, the crew who did the installation) were polite, on time, answered all my questions completely (one company it was like pulling teeth getting information about the size of the units, work involved, etc.) and generally behaved in a professional manner, as well as just being nice people. On the day of the installation, the crew arrived exactly on time, covered all the furniture and floors, and got to work. Sean kept me updated throughout the day, and would notify me any time decisions needed to be made (where something should be located, how the wires would look and where I would like them to run). Each time he gave me the information, along with the pros and cons of the choices, and let me make my own decisions - only offering input when I asked for it, but when I did being very clear and forthright about why his opinion was whatever it was. They got the job done in a day (both other companies said it would be at least two days of work), and left my house cleaner than they found it. They also removed and disposed of an old window unit at no extra charge. When they were finished, Sean showed me how each unit worked and made sure I was clear on everything. I highly recommend this company. Knowledgeable, friendly, professional, trustworthy, reliable. A+

My apologies for the delay in providing feedback. Took advantage of the Big Deal AC checkup in 2011. They proactively called about setting up the appointment. However, the appointment had to be rescheduled twice due to issues on their end. The technician, Bryan, was a very good communicator and seemed knowledgeable. I would definitely have them do work for me in the future.

He came on time, and did the job that I expected. I wanted to know that my air conditioning would be OK for the summer and it was.

Great - Mark arrived early and completed the maintenance check without a problem.

The team was professional, friendly and most amazingly trustworthy. They were very knowledgeable, the installation went great and the new filter works very well.

Fixed Motor and got the heat going again - was 55 degrees when we got home from trip for holidays. They arrived and diagnosed quickly. Very thorough. Would hire again

I feel extremely lucky to have found JW Heating. The crew who worked at my house, Ted, Sean, Oscar, Ramone and Nacho, were extremely competent and their work was first-rate. From the minute they walked into my house, I knew that I had found the right company. Sean, Oscar, Ramone and Nacho worked diligently during the entire three days that they were here, and were courteous and extremely clean, taking the upmost care to make sure my home was left spotless after they left each day. Further, our house is from the 1920's and certain issues "popped-up" which no one had expected and definitely were not "textbook." Ted, Sean, Oscar, Ramone and Nacho were perfectionist and they took their time to plan-out and execute the the perfect solutions every time. For example, our home features a 1920's deco wood-paneled basement that is original to the house and which is very unique and beautiful. Unfortunately, however, it was never heated (which I suspect was due to the difficulty in figuring out how to create a supply vent in a basement space). Sean listened to my concerns regarding the wood paneling, and was able to devise and create a new supply vent with a custom-size register which does not detract from the beauty of the basement at all and heats the entire basement perfectly!! I could give an example for each Ted, Oscar, Ramone, and Nacho also -- the entire crew did amazing, high-caliber work. These guys are simply the best!!

Everything went very smoothly and nicely. Ruddy was polite and professional and got the job done quickly and efficiently.

Project took 2 days. Crew was friendly, courteous and professional. New heater now balanced and quiet and works great. Installation was done in neat fashion as promised. Crew took pains to keep things clean and did not leave so much as a scrap behind. We are extremely happy.

They were excellent. They came early. My appointment was at like 2:00 p.m. and they came like 8:00 a.m. I was just surprised, I guess I wasn't ready for them.

We will request Ruddy next time as he was such a great worker and very polite. He put covers over his shoes when he came into our place.

I have a guest house in which the AC stopped working. One of their techs (Ruddy) came to the house and diagnosed the problem. I could fix my old unit which was over 35 years old, or replace it. I knew it was time to put the old unit down, as it had been struggling on its last legs for quite a while. Ruddy gave me a price for replacement which was somewhat lower than a few quotes I already had. I said yes and scheduled installation for two weeks later. They called in advance, asked if they could come at 7am the next day, and at 7am four guys and two trucks showed up on time and ready to work. All the old equipment was hauled away early in the day and at 5pm they told me they were finished! (I had expected the job to take more time.) Everything was as promised or better. They built a platform for the AC, put in a new electrical box, redesigned the air intake for better efficiency and cleaned up thoroughly. When they finished everything looked cleaner than when they arrived. Before they left I got a crash course on the new thermostat which was clear and helpful. Even though the crew had been working hard for more than 10 hours, they took special care to show me all they had done and to be sure I was satisfied. Everything works exactly as it should and I'm confident if I have any problems they'll be here to straighten it out. A couple of years ago I had to replace both the furnace and the central air in our house. The guys I used did a credible job but overall they don't compare to JW. Bottom line: All the people I dealt with from JW take pride in doing their job better than necessary or expected. My experience with JW has spoiled me for anybody else. First rate.

JW just finished installing an entirely new AC and heating unit with duct work at our home. They finished right on time in 3 days. They were very knowledgeable and professional. At the end of each day, they cleaned up entirely and one could not tell that they were there.
